Regal and Scathach just finished sparing and maxing out their stats, both were a few states away, so the sparing was enough. Ruphas was on the side watching. the fiasco with the summoning was resolved after the info dump.
"Monsters... both of them..." Ruphas commented she had been observing the two spars from the start. Regal and Scathach were just warming up in the start without using much power only displaying their skills and mastery over their weapons, Ruphas was confident she was superior in terms of her mastery over magic but seeing Regal use them was an eye opener for her. and when the spar became serious, Ruphas eyes were wide open in shock.
Both Regal and Scathach could be said to be a master of combat, Regal adapted to everything and countered it while Scathach was a literal war goddess with her spear and tactic.
"If you want to join you are welcome to," Scathach said while looking at Ruphas who thought for a bit.
"Hmm, alright I would like to try my strength out as well," Ruphas responded while,
"This will be interesting, you two spar, and I will watch," Regal stated, he only wanted to level up so this spar was meanless, he also had to bring out the dragon he caught.
Scathach took a casual stance while Ruphas conjured fireballs, lightning bolts, and ice shards.

Ruphas lunched everything she had conjured without any escape while conjuring a massive ball of fire in the sky and then pushing it down with the wind. Scathach watched in amusement, the moment anything that got in her spear's range she would destroy it with a simple swing or a spin.
The ball of fire landed on top of Scathach but she split in two right down the middle and pushed it back with the shockwaves caused by the simple swing she was performing, the massive ball of fire exploded, and Ruphas forced the waves of fire to rush at Scathach while conjuring a compressed spear beside her.
Launching the spear it went at extremely high speed and reached Scathach who had to span her spear to get rid of the waves of fire. although the fire would do no damage it would burn off her clothes.
The conjured spear was an inch away from Scathach's neck but it stopped and dissipated, Ruphas frowned and conjured small balls of light, Scathach giving her a chance and she would take it. Those balls of light surrounded Scathach just out of her range, the ball completely covered the surroundings and only some gaps could be seen there was no escape here.
All the balls of light exploded and many elements burst out of them, showing themselves as not just light element, Scathach hadn't taken a step from where she was standing and just smiled. The explosion was defined and engulfed the backyard, Ruphas took to the air and a pulsing sphere of colors formed in her hand.
The smoke cleared and Scathach was seen, not even a single scratch. "Hmm, Mystic Sovereign, it's powerful." She stated under her breath, that Scathach had willed the explosion which was made from mana to dissipate just like the spear.
"Oh, so finally stop playing," Regal on the side commented he was covered in a barrier while keeping his out of the battle, "System, expand the field and isolate this place," He commanded, and the grass-filled ground became a vast open battlefield, no matter how far you look at any direction it was just a vast field, this was regal's domain so anything he says goes here.
Scathach and Ruphas made eye contact and at the same moment, Scathach moved and appeared in front of Ruphas whose eyes were wide in shock, Scathach's spear was pointing at Ruphas's chest only touching the cloths. Scathach could end this battle anytime but she want to see what Ruphas could do.
Ruphas made a split-second decision, the sphere expanded and burst out in the direction of Scathach while propelling herself back and making some distance while unleashing a torrent of intense energy that surged forward in a concentrated blast. Scathach thrust her spear whose tip glowed and met the blast head on.
The concentrated blast was split into four parts and went bass Scathach and created massive explosions leaving burning craters behind.
Ruphas stopped testing things out now and got serious, Scathach seeing this was amused and played alone.
"Are you only going to use magic to fight?" Scathach asked out of the blue,
"Close combat is a no-go for me... I might be good with a sword but compared to monsters like you I wouldn't even stand a chance," Ruphas said but her inner thoughts were different 'You want me to get close? hell NO! I was watching you spar just a few moments ago, and I knew for a fact that getting close is a death sentence, I rather stick with magic...'
"A pity," Scathach nonchalantly said and disappeared, Ruphas flapped her wings and moved forward barely dodging the swing that Scathach made with her hand, Scathach had unsummoned her spear and just played around now.
The weather changed and a storm formed, Ruphas was speeding at the clouds with Scathach following right behind, Ruphas attacked Scathach with everything she had in hand but all of them were reflected back at double the speed and power. The lighting struck while rain poured, and the water drops gathered and transformed into a humongous water serpent and headed right toward Ruphas who could only watch helplessly.
Scathach used the storm Ruphas had called and used it against her, the water serpent missed, gliding past Ruphas, and brokering down, while the storm slowly disappeared. Scathach ended the battle.
The battlefield returned back to how it was a grass-filled backyard, and both Scathach and Ruphas got down, Ruphas was barely standing she had exhausted all her mana while Scathach wasn't even scratched or felt tired.
"Go rest up first," Scathach said while walking towards Regal who had taken out the monster cage, He threw it and it broke releasing the dragon inside.
The Monster cage was a one-time-use item, a Pokeball would have been more useful but the dragon was too big and strong for it.
The dragon came out and it was sleeping...
Regal nudged the dragon's snout, and it rolled. Regal's lip twitched at this, Scathach released a little of her blood lust which immediately jolted it. It woke up with confusion and looked at Regal and Scathach with a child-like curiosity.
"This is going to be a pain..." Regal said speechlessly and in annoyance,
"Looks like it needs to be trained before anything, I doubt it can even fly properly," Scathach commented, "Wel, there is still time before the war game, let's train this lizard till then,"
Ruphas on the side watched with a blank face. "Train a dragon..." She muttered while heading to rest.
