Chapter 31- Progress

"Sir, the bakery is closed.." The poor cashier tried to inform Hisoka but met with a deadly stare.

"umm...I'm sorry..it's just that..that lady over there has paid to not open the store..."

Sachiko glanced at the commotion and felt a bit concerned for the cashier, because that right there was Hisoka. That guy was all kinds of wrong!

"Hey, Hisoka!" Sachiko waved to that magician so that there wouldn't be a murder scene while she was trying to enjoy her daily dose of coffee.

Hisoka's eyes flashed in interest as he walked to Sachiko's table.

"Sir.."

"It's okay. You can sell to him." Sachiko said before turning to Hisoka. "Come on, don't murder anyone here. I'm trying to enjoy my coffee in peace."

"Oh, how strange. Could've sworn you loved chaos." Hisoka hummed and Sachiko was regretting her life decisions.

"Well, what brings you here?" She changed the subject.

"a craving for some marshmallows and cookies." Hisoka said.

"I see." Sachiko said as she sipped her iced coffee.

"I've been seeing your name for a while at Heavens Arena. When are you planning to get to 200th floor?" Hisoka asked.

"I'm not sure yet." Sachiko lied, just because she didn't want the creepy clown to wait for her to fight.

"Well, I'm waiting for you at 200th floor. Let's fight." Hisoka said.

"I don't think I'll be fighting you in the near future yet. I still have some plans to play with some idiots from 200th floor." Sachiko replied after thinking for a while.

Hisoka didn't look very pleased at Sachiko's rejection to his fight, but he looked interested in her plan.

"I see, I'm guessing it'll be a show." He hummed.

"I guess so."

"Well, in that case, I'll be looking forward to it." Hisoka said, then turned to Killua who was trying his best not to make eye contact with Hisoka. "Oh, you're here as well. Will you tell Gon that I'm looking forward to his punch?"

Killua froze for a while before nodding. Hisoka was satisfied with that and left after getting his marshmallows and cookies.

Sachiko and Killua also headed to Heavens Arena after finishing their breakfast. Then, Sachiko pretended to struggle to win two matches at Heavens Arena and soon, she got to 180th floor.

As usual, Sachiko asked Killua to place bets on her so she ended up making around 420 million, including the prize money.

"So..are you still going up to 200th floor today?" Killua found himself asking.

"Nah, that clown's gonna pester me when i get to 200th floor so I might stay here for a while." Sachiko said.

"Good point." Killua agreed to what Sachiko said, which was pretty rare but this was Hisoka they were talking about. "I honestly don't need to hear any of his weird tones." He said.

"Same." Sachiko sighed, "I don't even know why he's that obssessed with the idea of fighting me."

Killua gave her a look of "are you serious".

"Anyways, let's go back now. You gotta learn Ren starting from today." Sachiko changed the subject.

"Yeah, sure.." Killua was unamused but he follow ed her anyway as he was interested in learning Ren.

"Visualize the energy inside your body getting stronger. Then you have to slowly focus on getting that energy out in a explosive manner." Sachiko started explaining, then she got a brilliant example popped in her mind, "Okay, I got an example. You ate really bad food and you're having a bad case of diarrhea."

Killua's eyebrows twitched at the terrible example Sachiko was giving so he had to say, "I'm trained to be immune to poison..."

"Yeah, yeah, that's amazing ​and all but let's just say it happened!" Sachiko said, "So, you're having diarrhea and now you have all that liquidy poo in you, waiting to be let out."

Killua groaned, "I think I get your first explanation. Can we just skip the example?"

"Nope! What kind of teacher would I be if I don't use proper examples to explain things?" Sachiko defended but Killua shook his head, "None of this is proper."

"Come on! Let me finish my example!"

"Fine.."

"Great, so..imagine you finally get to the bathroom and let it all out explosively. But of course, you still have to make sure not to sh*t on the floor or walls so you have to aim the perfect timing, just like you have to kinda maintain the aura by shrouding it with Ten." Sachiko explained.

"Okay, I think I get it. But seriously, that's the example you came up with?" Killua sighed, his mind playing the scene of someone having diarrhea and associating it with training Ren. He hated that the example made sense, kind of.

Sachiko ignored that, of course. "Great! Now you've understood, try it yourself!"

With a sigh, Killua started trying what he had been taught.

Soon, an explosive aura emerged from Killua before he shroud it with Ten.

"See? You did it!" Sachiko clapped.

"I did?"

"Yep, you still need to improve the timing and stuff but this is looking good." She said.

"Okay, so how long do I train this for?" Killua asked.

"Just try to keep it as long as you can. It's a bit extreme but trust me, you get better quickly that way." Sachiko answered, "But I'd recommend you to rest properly and let your aura refill properly before you train again."

"So basically pushing yourself to the limit and your ability gets stronger with each push. Makes sense." Killua nodded his head but in his mind, he couldn't help but think, 'I wonder if this is how she train. She doesn't look like a serious person but she does have extreme methods..'

His thought was cut short when Sachiko bonked his head. "Are you distracted? Come on, Kil. You still want to become stronger, right?"

"Obviously." Killua replied. "I'm just recalling your lessons."

"Sure you were." Sachiko said but it was more like a sarcastic comment. Killua shrugged and continued practicing Ren. Sachiko left him alone after a few more minutes, which Killua knew was gonna happen, since Sachiko had attention span shorter than Leorio's temper when it comes to things that she deemed less exciting.

In fact, he was more glad that she left him alone so he could actually focus on his Ren, by slowly recalling the theory and perfect his technique of using Ren.

Meanwhile, Sachiko decided to go and practice her cursed techniques for a while after bossing Killua around and teasing Gon. She decided not to teach Gon Ren yet as his Ren was obviously still not as good as Killua's so she had extra time now.

She decided to focus on her Time Manipulation Eyes and Nullify this time as she had a few interesting theories she wanted to try out. She also wanted to find out if there was any way to manipulate how Water Divination results showed. She wanted Wing and others to think she was a specialist because she could make up a collective bs power, by combining the traits of her cursed techniques and future nen abilities.

But, as usual, the system didn't provide any actual answers so Sachiko had to push it back for now and focused on training instead.

She even started learning In and Shu, and got to Competent level so she was satisfied with her progress in nen.

She also headed to Jujutsu Kaisen world as usual when the weekly countdown reset and managed to finally get Time Manipulation Eye to Competent level, although she had not managed to level up Nullify yet. Sachiko was still happy with the results as she had a great time in modern Japan anyway. She even thought three days was a short time to properly enjoy anything.

One week passed since the first training with Wing and now, it was time for another training session. This time, Sachiko thought about sticking around to see what Wing would teach.

"So..Sachiko san, you told me last time that you were preparing some materials for training. How about we approach the training from your persepective this time." Wing said once he and Zushi got to the classroom again.

Sachiko blinked, "What..material?"

Killua facepalmed, "You told us that you were going to prepare the training materials when you ditched us last week."

"Oh..that..yeah, I forgot." Sachiko lied because there was no training material she had in mind.

Wing didn't know how exactly he should react to this, surely, he wasn't expecting this bluntness.

"But..on the bright side, I taught Killua Ren!" Sachiko announced as if she was really proud of what she did.

"That..is great." Wing said with difficullty, "Although we can have Killua kun and Zushi train Gyo together, how about Gon kun?"

"Let's see...how about we teach him Ren now while Killua and Zushi practice Ren a little more today? And if we have time, we can have them learn Gyo together." Sachiko said.

"I guess that works too." Wing said with a nod.

So, Sachiko taught Gon about Ren with the same example she gave to Killua.

'What...what is that example...? It kinda made sense but...that is too..' Zushi thought.

Wing also had similar thoughts while Killua was smirking because he wasn't the only one to suffer from that example anymore.

After half a day had passed, Gon could start using Ren but it would tire him so much that he wouldn't be able to continue training Gyo. But, Sachiko decided to let him observe the training and participate just as much as he could.

Killua did amazing job at learning Gyo since he could use Ren much better after one week of practicing it while Zushi seemed to be still struggling but managed to use Gyo for a while.

"Killua kun is really talented." Wing said.

"Thank you!" Sachiko chimed in as if she was the one getting the compliment. Then, she proceeded to invade Killua's personal space and hugged him. "I'm so proud of my little brother!!!"

"..." Killua felt awkward over how affectionate Sachiko was suddenly being and especially, her saying that she was proud of him.

'I can never know what's going on in her head and what she's planning at all...but..this is different.' He thought. He had never heard of someone telling him that they were proud of him and especially not in a way like this.

With his family, he was trained to be an assassin, someone to succeed family business. He was trained to be used to torture, poison and stuff like that pretty much since he was born and yet, he had never had heard that word in a way that didn't make him feel like a tool.

Here, he wasn't expected to do anything he didn't want to.

He wasn't treated like his whole future was decided by someone else.

He wasn't seen as incompetent when he told her he wouldn't make a move against Illumi or fight a battle he can't win.

Instead, he was comforted and even got an advice.

He..liked this.

In a short, brief moment, Killua let his thoughts wander a little bit.
