23 Chapter 22- Nen Talent
Sachiko took a few minutes to get used to 'Ten'. And then she kept training her 'Ten' since it is one of the basic techniques.
It becomes a bit tiring after a few hours but Sachiko managed to endure a bit more before finally taking a break. She was kind of satisfied with the results though as she could use maintain 'Ten' for longer and better than before.

With the rewards, Sachiko could feel a rush of information appearing in her head. It was about training basic techniques of Nen in detail and advanced techniques in a generous amount. While information about the advanced techniques aren't as detailed, it'd help her at least learn for herself for the first few steps.
And not to mention she had yet to finish training the basics, so the details about four basic techniques would help her out a lot. All she had to do was train diligently even if she knew it could be boring.
But, Sachiko didn't mind that much as she knew her priority is to become strongest and thus, she was extremely pleased at the rewards.
'But what's about the Category Compatibility?'
[It is an additional reward to compliment host's potential and talent in Nen. Host may check them with Water Divination later.]
'Huh, strange but okay?'
Sachiko thought to herself, 'Could I actually be a genius?'
She laughed to herself. As much as she'd like to be, it was a bit far-fetched. She hadn't even finished learning the basics so that kind of thought should be saved for later?
With that, she went back to training.

Sachiko spent a few more hours training 'Ten' before she went to sleep. Next morning, she trained her 'Ten' a bit more before deciding to learn 'Zetsu' since it can help her hide her presence and even recover from fatigue.
Learning Zetsu wasn't hard either as Zetsu was about stopping the flow of aura from the body by closing the aura nodes. Since she had learned to manually close and open the aura nodes, entering a state of Zetsu was fairly easy. But since Zetsu has the disadvantage of leaving one defenseless against Nen and emotional attacks, Sachiko wasn't sure if she would use it as much as Shroud for spying purposes.
That said, Zetsu still had the advantage of becoming more sensitive to other's aura and relieving fatigue so Sachiko didn't dismiss the idea completely. Moreover, she didn't know if she could use 'Ten' while using Shroud or how using Nen would affect Shroud as she has yet to experiment in that area.
Again, one step at a time. There's no need to rush things as of now.
So, Sachiko relaxed in a state of Zetsu to familiarize herself with it. She even went outside in a state of Zetsu to see how it affects her and her awareness of the surroundings.
On her way back home, she stopped using Zetsu and went back to using 'Ten'. Then, she picked up food from the same restaurant she had been ordering from.
Once she was back, she called Killua and Gon for breakfast and surprisingly, both were already wearing their training 'suits' and training.
"I see you both are working hard. Good job!" Sachiko said as she played with Killua's fluffy hair.
Killua looked annoyed at being treated like a total kid while Gon was happy at the praise.
"So when can we start training Nen?" Gon asked.
"Hm..let's see. How long have you been training again? Ten days? Eleven days?"
"Eleven days." Killua answered.
"Alright, let's do another five days. You've been increasing the weights, right?" Sachiko asked.
"Yeah, Killua increased the weights for me. They're really heavy." Gon said.
"Good! Tomorrow, you guys will come with to Heaven's Arena to make some money! While you're still wearing those weights, of course." Sachiko told them.
"I thought we're not fighting until we've learned Nen." Killua said with a frown.
"That's right. I never said you two will fight." Sachiko replied.
"Then what.."
"You will place bets for me, of course. I need to earn some money back." Sachiko told them like that was the most obvioust thing.
"Oh..." Gon nodded in understanding. "So we'll place bets on you and you'll try to win so we'll get prize money along with profits from bets?"
"You're wrong there, buddy. Not try to win because I will win. Obviously." Sachiko said with a grin.
"Heh, that's quite an attitude you got there, eyepatch lady." Killua said.
"Hey I told you to stop calling me that!" Sachiko retorted to which Killua just stuck his tongue out.
'That's Killua for you.'

After breakfast, Sachiko went back to her room to train 'Ren'. She visualized the energy inside her body growing and becoming stronger, then focused on forcing that power out in an explosive manner and as soon as it came out, she had to focus on maintaining all that aura. The amount of aura output was much larger than the amount of aura compared to 'Ten' and having to maintain the aura was a lot more trickier than she thought.
It took Sachiko till 3 p.m. to get used to it and even then, she could only maintain it for a few minutes. Then, she was forced to a state of Zetsu to recover the fatigue and mental strain. She went downstairs to find something to eat and saw a few plates of food left for her on the table.
'Did those kids leave it for me? I guess I have to substract from their debt a little bit after all.' Sachiko thought.
While she was eating, Killua and Gon entered the dining room and Killua took a double look at her as she stood in front of him.
"Huh? It's like you're here but there's no presence and it's like you're not here." Killua said.
"That's because I'm using Zetsu." Sachiko said as she stopped using Zetsu, turning her presence back to normal.
"Zetsu? Is that one of the abilities from Nen?" Gon asked excitedly.
"It's one of the four basic exercises." Sachiko replied with a chuckle. "You could say it works quite well to conceal your presence."
"Then...is it what you used during Hunter exam when you sneaked up on me?" Killua asked.
"Nope, that was a different technique. I call it 'Assassins Art: Shroud'." Sachiko answered to Killua's question.
"Assassins Art?!" Killua looked at her with wide eyes. "Why would you have assassins art when you're not even an assassin?"
"Well, they're useful for spying for information, sneak attacks and other various purposes. Also: like I said, I don't care what category a technique belongs in. As long as it is useful for me, I don't see any reasons not to utilize it."
"I guess..that makes sense but I'm still surprised that you take pride in learning even assassin arts. I mean most would say they're shameful or something." Killua said.
"It's all tools to use. For me, anyway. I don't get why people have to think they are inferior or shameful. I can't stand them." Sachiko said with a sigh, "Anyway, why are you guys here?"
"We wanted some snacks!" Gon answered.
"Huh, I thought you were checking on me!" Sachiko said dramatically.
"Huh? Why would I?" Killua said.
"Aren't you worried about your sister?" Sachiko asked.
"You look fine to me so no." Killua said with a smug face.
"Fine! That's double the debts for me. You better be prepared pay back all my money." Sachiko said, crossing her arms.

Sachiko spent the rest of the day training 'Ren' and with that, she was starting to get more used to it and using it became a bit more easier. She could also maintain it for approximately forty minutes before she was forced to rest and use Zetsu to regain aura faster.
While being in Zetsu state had a lot of risks, Sachiko believed that she was not as defenseless because of her cursed energy and cursed techniques.
She also made sure to train her cursed techniques while she was in Zetsu to regain aura and found that using cursed energy didn't really affect the rate of recovering aura. So, it had been working well as she could switch between training her cursed techniques and Nen.
Once she was fairly recovered, Sachiko decided to try out Gyo by focusing 'Ren' on her eyes. But, the thing was there was nothing for her Gyo to use on.
'System, can you tell me when I succeed in using Gyo? I mean I don't have any recording or other people's concealed aura to look at so help me out?'
[System will notify host when host has successfully used Gyo.]
"Great!"
With the confirmation, Sachiko started to use 'Ren' and then try to focus all the aura into her eyes. It was trickier than just forcing the aura out and maintaining it around the eyes to see concealed aura was far more difficult than any Nen training she had done.
It took until dawn to finally get a notification from system and even then, Sachiko wasn't sure how using Gyo in an actual case would be like, mainly because she hadn't had a chance to use it yet.
But, after successfully using Gyo, 'Ten', 'Ren' and Zetsu were a piece of cake now. Sachiko was confident that she could maintain 'Ten' for half a day without much effort and 'Ren' for a few hours with some effort. That said, she still couldn't do it while doing other productive things but at least, using 'Ten' and 'Ren' felt much more natural and that was a progress.
Before going to bed in a Zetsu state, Sachiko couldn't help but think, "Could I actually be a genius in Nen? I mean I should be pretty talented if I can open aura nodes and can use three out of four basic techniques in less than two weeks, right?"
And at that moment, a desire to become the strongest Nen user was born.
