16 Chapter 16- Hunter’s License
"Match Two : Kurapika vs. Hisoka."
Hisoka whispered something into Kurapika's ear before saying, "I lose this one."
"Next match : Sachiko vs. Killua."
Killua took his place as the referee said.
Sachiko stood there casually, but he could feel he was going to lose.
"Start!"
Sachiko covered her body in cursed energy to strengthen it.
Killua was about to charge towards her like he would to his targets but something about her, the aura coming from her, it was all too scary. He didn't feel like this before, probably because he was not fighting her like he was right now.
Sachiko didn't make a move.
"Why..why aren't you making a move?"
"I'm waiting for you to get ready." She replied.
Killua wanted to get into position, then charge towards her and fight her. But, when he tried to make a move, every cells in his body was resisting against it. He couldn't control his own body as it backed away.
"I...I surrender." Killua said, still shaking.
Sachiko won, just like that.
'The nen needle, huh? Looks like I gotta tell him soon.' She thought. 'It's probably better to get him to learn nen so that he could remove it himself.'

"Next match : Killua vs. Hanzo."
Killua and Hanzo started to fight for a while.
"I see Kil is now fighting with his opponent for the final phase."
A voice came and Killua froze.
"Illumi..."
Illumi said, "I heard you lost your first match to Sachiko Nakamura. I also heard you couldn't even make a move. You just surrendered."
"What do you want?" Killua asked.
"Nothing," Illumi replied, "I just want to give a suggestion to my little brother. Being a hunter doesn't suit you. You're made for being an assassin. The incident earlier proved it, didn't it? You can't be a hunter. Your instincts are telling you to act like a true assassin."
"You are made to kill. Killing is the only thing that will keep you joy. You want nothing but the pleasure of killing. Think back to yourself. Have you ever wanted something? Tell me if you do."
"I have." Killua replied, "I have wanted something."
"Then, tell me."
"I want...I want to be friends with Gon and Sachiko. And I want to have fun."
"You're already friends with Gon! And I'm your sister, Killua!" Sachiko corrected.
"Gon's already my friend?" Killua was suprised, "Then, I want to stay like that. I want to have fun with them!"
"You're lying. You can't..." Illumi denied , "That's not how father and I raised you."
"Yeah, that's it. Stop this crap right now, Illumi. You're interrupting my little brother's exam." Sachiko said, unimpressed.
"What did you call Kil?"
"Oh, I called him my little brother. I decided to adopt him as my brother if you haven't heard that already." She replied.
"With whose permission?"
"Permission? I don't need one, especially not from a manipulative, abusive brother." Sachiko said.
Killing intent from Illumi made Killua shudder, but couldn't eyepatch lady shut up?
What if Illumi decided to kill her?
"I will kill you if you don't shut up." Illumi said.
"What a coincidence! I was about to say the same." Sachiko said with a laugh, "If you don't stop manipulating Killua, I will kill you."
"You don't have the..."
Before Illumi could finish his sentence, Sachiko used rhythm echo and time manipulation eye to appear in front of Illumi in a flash and stab him in the heart, ribs and gut.
"Hahahahaha." Hisoka laughed excitedly as he saw Sachiko's move.
Illumi was taken aback by that, "But, unfortunately for you, it's not enough to kill me."
"I know, this is a warning." She said, "Tell your family too, from today on, Killua is my brother. If you try to force him to go back or manipulate him in any way, I will kill each and everyone of you."
"Don't tell jokes." Illumi said.
"Oh, it's not a joke. It's a promise."
"Come on, Kil. Do you even want to be her brother? There is no way, right? You are born an assasin, raised as an assasin.."
"I'd rather have her as my sister." Killua told him. "And I'm going to be a hunter, too. I will not let you take away any of that."
"Yes, Killua! Oh my, my little brother has finally acknowledged me!" Sachiko gave Killua a thumbs up.
Then, she turned to an injured Illumi and said, "I think you should leave now. Or I'm afraid chairman Netero san would be very busy."
"This isn't over. Kil, you will see one day. When you end up killing the very person you want to be friends with, you will realize you can only be an assassin." Illumi said.
Sachiko threw several daggers at him at that. Illumi managed to escape. "This isn't over."
When Illumi was finally gone, Sachiko asked, "You okay?"
Killua nodded, "I have to finish this up, eyepatch lady."
"Yeah, alright, you can do it, my brother!" Sachiko cheered for him before going back to her place.
Killua went back to his fighting stance and Hanzo said, "You found yourself a good sister. "
"Yeah, I guess. She's annoying tho." Killua replied.
"I can see that," Hanzo agreed. "Anyway, I won't go easy on you just because of your family drama."
"I don't need you to." Killua said with a smug face before he appeared behind Hanzo and dislocate Hanzo's arm.
"Surrender." He said.
"I'm a ninja, trained for battle. This doesn't faze me." Hanzo replied. He then pulled out a sword from his wrist and wielded it.
Killua dodged and then broke the other hand.
"Ninjas don't surrender."
"Then, I will break your legs." Killua said.
The fight continued for a while and Killua also got his fair share of bruises and scratches but they were nothing for him.
Hanzo's right leg almost was broken at this point.
"Alright, I surrender." Hanzo finally said. This kid didn't show any sign of stopping. He felt like it was smarter to take his chances in the next round.
"Hey, you made the right choice," Sachiko said to Hanzo.
"I guessed it." Hanzo said with a bit of sweat on his forehead.
"Yeah, you might wanna go see a doctor for your hands, seeing you still have to fight another round." Sachiko hummed.
"Right." Hanzo said with a nod before leaving.
"Welcome back, now you're a hunter like me!" Sachiko said with a cheery tone. "My brother has grown so much, I'm so proud!"
"....."
"You literally passed the exam minutes ago." Killua replied, "And it's not like I changed?"
"That doesn't matter. We should just celebrate now!" Sachiko said. "We will buy choco robots and cake. We will have the biggest feast of gourmet food. Oh god, this is gonna be so much fun!"
"Did you say choco robots?"
"Yeah, why?"
"I'm in!" Killua replied.
"Great! All that's left is wait for the exam to end and get our hunter's license." She said.

The exam ended with Bodoro losing the final match. Hisoka, Sachiki, Killua, Gon, Kurapika, Leorio, Pokkle and Hanzo became hunters. Now, they were waiting in a room to get their orientation done and get their licenses given.
Sachiko looked at the file she was given , there was her hunter's license, the very proof that she passed the exam.
She held up her hunter's license and felt that she was one step closer to her goals.
'Congratulations host for passing hunter's exam and getting hunter's license. Rewards received. Host received one chance to spin lucky wheel, special grade cursed tool : Scythe and system upgrade.'
'Spin the lucky wheel!'
'Host received Cursed Technique : Nullify.'
'Nullify, huh? Seems like I have to train a lot harder in the future.'
'Do you want to start the system upgrade now?'
'Yes.'
'System upgrade starting. Remaining time : 24 hours.'
Seeing it would take 24 hours to upgrade , Sachiko stopped paying attention to the system. She thought about getting a special grade cursed too. When had she got so lucky like this? Anyway, she didn't think scythes are powerful in general. Probably because of her luck, she got the least practical one.
'A scythe as a cursed tool? I wonder how it powerful could be.'
Generally, scythes are not great weapons , mainly because they lacked the practicality. But, since this is a special grade cursed tool, she looked forward to see its power. Unfortunately, she could only check that out later when she was alone.
"When is this orientation gonna start?" Pokkle asked, getting impatient.
"Probably when Gon wakes up." Sachiko said with a yawn. She really need a vacation after this.
"Oh, wait! There he comes!" Leorio said.
Gon almost ran towards Sachiko and shouted, "Why did you let me win?!"
"...." Sachiko turned towards him lazily , "Can we talk about this later? I want to finish this orientation already. This is so boring. "
"Agreed, " Killua said with a bored look.
So, with Gon arrived, the orientation started. Needless to say, Sachiko started to zone out as soon as Neteto started to give them a lecture about hunter's responsiblities or stuff like that. She didn't even listen to know what Netero was talking about.
About an hour later, it was finally over. Sachiko stretched her body and then stood up from her seat.
"Finally, this is over!"

"So, uh...what are you guys gonna do?" Sachiko asked the others.
"I don't know yet. Probably training." Killua replied.
"I have to go find an employer so that I could participate in auction in Yorknew city." Kurapika said. "Hisoka said phantom troupe will be there at the auction."
"I see, that's what he said during your match." Sachiko said.
"Yeah." Kurapika nodded.
"Well, I will be going back home. I will go to a med school, then this will be paying outrageous expenses." Leorio said, holding up his hunter's license.
"I am going to train so that I can punch Hisoka in the face!" Gon said.
"Well, am I the only one hoping to go on a vacation ?" Sachiko looked discouraged by everyone else's answers.
"Vacation? Where are you going?" Kurapika asked.
"I don't know yet." She shook her head, then she got an idea, "Wait, do you guys know cool places to visit? I love beaches so if you know one, it's better."
Gon shook his head, "I don't. But we can look up at the internet cafe!"
"I was hoping for more genuine recommendations for the beach you've been to or something like that. But that works too." Sachiko said, "So, Kurapika and Leorio, are you guys in?"
"I wish I could but I have a goal to accomplish right now. See you in six months tho." Kurapika replied.
"Alright , what about Leorio?"
"Sorry, I agree with Kurapika here."
"Fine, see you in Yorknew City in six months?"
"Yeah."
They all agreed to meet in Yorknew city six months later. After Kurapika and Leorio left, Sachiko turned to Gon and Killua, "So, are you in?"
Gon hesitated , "I want to...but..."
"You guys really need a vacation right now. Especially after the exam."
"But I really have to give Hisoka his badge back. Until then, I won't be a true hunter." Gon said with a determined look.
"I know you wanna train but it's better to do it with some guidance you know. If you think just training it enough to beat Hisoka, I have to say it is impossible."
"But!!" Gon was about to make his shounen anime mc speech.
"Listen what I have to say, Gon. The reason is there is this power Hisoka has and has been using. You do and Killua does have that but you can't use it, yet."
"What kind of power is that?" Gon and Killua asked.
"It is called Nen. And Zoldyck family has it too, Killua. That's also why they can just stay out in the open like this." Sachiko said.
"My family has nen?"
"Yep, I can tell you more about this information but only if you agree to take a break and go on a vacation with me. But, of course, you have to pay me back. I mean the money." Sachiko said.
Killua looked at Gon and then nodded, "Fine. But this better be a place where we can have fun."
"Don't worry. We will have lots of fun!"
