Chapter 14- Encounter In Hiroshima
After passing phase four, all the nine applicants got onto Netero's ship to travel to the destination of final phase.
"Everyone may take a rest and enjoy the ship's amenities until further announcement." Bean announced.
Sachiko decided to find a place to be secluded in before going to Jujutsu Kaisen world. If she remembered well, it had been about ten days since she first travelled to that world. Although system assures that the chances to travel between worlds refreshed every sunday, she still felt it was more of a waste that she was too caught up with other matters back at the island.
'Well, it can't be helped.' Sachiko sighed.
'System, I will go to Jujutsu Kaisen world now.'

Sachiko looked around to see where she was just as she arrived at Jujutsu Kaisen world. She found herself in the same room when she left this world. It was around the time she left the first time.
'It seems I will end up at the same place and time as when I left the world.' She came to a conclusion.
She got into the bathroom and take a long bath to relax. She planned to take a rest for a while before going out to exorcise more curses in Hiroshima.
After taking a rest for about an hour, Sachiko looked up on haunted places and wrote them down on a notebook.
"There should be enough curses."
The first place she stopped by was a middle school. It was a similar case to the elementary school she went to, a few middle school students going missing.

Sachiko exorcised every curse she saw at the middle school. She made sure to use cursed energy manipulation but she didn't use time manipulation eye because she didn't need it to beat them. She didn't see any curses higher than Grade-2.
At the end of the middle school trip , she got 3000 cursed points.
'Now, I really wonder what I can get with that.' She thought.
The next stop was also a middle school. In fact, she decided to go to middle schools for the day, well, night.
When she was finished with the school, she still had enough cursed energy left. So, she decided to go for another school. It was 5:00 a.m. now so she had to hurry.
She exorcised the curses she saw as usual but then when she was about to leave, a huge curse appeared behind her.
'Is it another grade-2? But it looks stronger..' She thought.
'Time to try something new.' She started to make threads of cursed energy and put them together to bind the curse it its place. Then, she made it explode.
'Grade-1 curse exorcised. Host received 1000 cursed points. System will now calculate host's strength as a Jujutsu sorcerer.'
'I'm going to get a rank now?'
'And so many points for a grade 1? God, I wonder what I can get with these points.'
A few seconds later, she heard system notification again.
'Congratulations for meeting system's standards to be a capable Jujutsu sorcerer. You are ranked as a Grade-1 by system. Please continue to work hard to be ranked as a special grade.'
With that, status window opened.

"Who's there?!"
As soon as she heard the voice, Sachiko immediately used shroud and walked away from the scene, unnoticed.
When Sachiko checked the time, it was already 6:10 a.m.
"Time to go back."

Sachiko decided to have breakfast before going back to hotel. She went to a cafe to get a cup of mocha and fluffy pancakes.
"So delicious." She hummed happily as she emptied the plate.
'Now, let's go back and take a nap! I know, my sleep schedule is getting all mixed up.' She went back to the hotel after eating.
She took a nap as soon as she got back to her room. When she woke up, she started her training on her cursed techniques. She trained until her cursed energy was down to 500 units.
It was 2:00 p.m.
Well, time for lunch.
Sachiko just decided to order room-service because going out to eat took more time and she wanted to rest. She ordered sushi and iced coffee.
Then, she set up an appointment with a real estate agent to rent an apartment. If all goes well, she could have her own place next time she gets here.
When her food arrived, she ate and watched TV.
She waited until her cursed energy had been fully refilled. Then, she started training again.
She stopped training at 7:00 p.m and checked the progress.

"It hasn't changed?"
Sachiko knew it kind of made sense. The higher the level is, the harder it is to level up further , right? At least, it is like that in the games.
Sachiko decided to go for a stroll. Initially, she didn't like the idea of walking around with little cursed energy but now, she just wanted a nice breath of air. She still had 200 units of cursed energy. She would be fine, right?

"Ahhh...why did I have to jinx myself?" She muttered as she ran into a freaking maniac who was killing a normal human. Now, if it was just a murderer, she wouldn't be scared. But, the maniac had to turn around look at her with his purple eyes, his long black hair moved almost too gracefully as he turned his head and walked towards her. Blood dripping from the human he just killed almost touched his feet, he steps away from it.
"Shit." She didn't know if she said it out loud or kept that as a thought. He seemed amused, though.
He called a curse out and made it approach her, "Hey, you see it, don't you?"
"Umm..yeah." Sachiko replied. If she couldn't , Geto Suguru would've killed her.
"Great, let me introduce myself. I am Geto Suguru. To normal people, I would say I'm a monk from a temple but for to our fellows, I would say I am someone who uses curses. What about you?"
"I'm Nakamura Sachiko. I don't really have a job yet."
Geto seemed amused at that and said, "So, why don't you come over to the temple? I'm sure we would get along well. You could join us if you like."
"Why me?" Sachiko asked. "I mean is it because I can see curses?"
"So, you know they are called curses." Geto said, a bit surprised. He thought she didn't know what they were because she looked terrified when she saw them. "Part of it. But also because I can see your potential. Not much cursed energy but you're interesting."
"...I see." Sachiko said with a strained smile. "I will think about it."
"Great." Geto replied, then gave her a card with address written on it. "I will look forward to see you at the temple."

"So, those strange residuals appear again in Hiroshima? And there were significantly fewer curses in those areas?"
"Not only that, there is an unidentified body found in Hiroshima. The victim was killed by cursed energy." Ijichi reported.
"I see, are they the same person?"
"No, they are not. But, we're afraid that there might be a connection between them." Ijichi said.
"Well, if those cases continue, I might really have to go for an investigation in person." A man with bandages over his eyes eventually said. "After all, this is a case where curses are disappearing."
'I hope it is not you, Suguru.' He thought.

Sachiko went back to hotel after eating dinner. She didn't know what to do with her encounter with Geto Suguru. It was April, 2017. What if she ended up getting involved in canon events here? All she wanted was to train and enjoy the usual Japan she knew here. But now, she was worried meeting Geto would change this.
If she had to choose between curse user and Jujutsu sorcerer, what should she do?
She didn't want to straight up kill people for no reason but she also didn't want to follow the rules and exorcise curses to protect people.
That would be hard to choose.
'Let's hope I can just lay low like this.'
She thought to herself.
