Prelude to the War

*Screech*

"*cough*cough* WE are NEVER mentioning that every again.", Hades started coughing and spitting out the acid he accumulated on his way out. He now seemed traumatized and sat in the bushes repeating 'forget everything forget everything'.

Disregarding the traumatic experience, things were starting to look good. The once foreign energy the Gods and Goddesses could only sense while in their imprisonment was now returning in full throttle.

Hades' body had already gotten exponentially stronger just by staying in Kronos' stomach, the same could be said of Poseidon as when Hades realised that he had already reached the peak physical strength he could achieve, he threw all his shifts on Poseidon.

What proceeded was a heartfelt family reunion that saw Poseidon shedding manly tears. While the Women had just collapsed crying along with Rhea.

Hades however did not join in this reunion. His gaze was focused on Gaia, "So what scheme are you plotting now 'Grandmother'?"

—"Nothing that concerns you, yet, my Grandchild.", a sharp and cunning light crossed her eyes as she examined Hades and his siblings. They seemed different, they weren't Titans but stronger that most of them, they had domains and divinities they had yet to access but it didn't seem to be reliant on external means such as faith or prayers but they still added to their powers.

—"Hades!! My child... I have longed to see you for so long.", Rhea separated from the 4 sisters and hugged Hades tightly with tears rolling down her eyes, "I'm sorry... *sob*... to have left you....".

I just reciprocated the poor woman's hug cause the God in me resonated with her as we shared a familial bond, 'And she doesn't seem so bad, though I feel no genuine love for her the resonance with her domain does seem to cause some affection towards her or maybe it's just the real Hades in me.'

After two thousand years of peace since the Primordial God Uranus was defeated by Kronos, the flames of war had once again been ignited.

The children of Kronos were now free from the prison that was Kronos' belly. Zeus and Metis had succeeded in their mission, but during this time they also fell for each other and secretly married each other.

Kronos, who had now recovered from his constant vomitting, was now gathering his allies for the "Titanomachy". He even had the nerve to order Oceanus to return to the fold and fight along side him on reasoning that if the new Gods were to overthrow them, Oceanus would lose his authority as well.

What Kronos didn't know was that Oceanus didn't give two shitts about authority, his integrity and honour was more important to him. Which Kronos had degraded quite a few times like ostracizing him and his wife and all his children, rapping his sister infront of all Titans and rapping an Oceanid of his army who is still in his clutches.

So imagine the surprise Kronos felt when his order was rejected.

But Kronos wasn't a Titan who would give up so I order to increase his chances of winning and superceding the prophecy he traveled to the Underworld.

He had deducted, through the use of his Domain over Time, that Gaia must have been involved in this scheme. So to even the odd, Kronos wanted to get a Primordial on his side as well.

His target was Tartarus but he was shocked to find out that Tartarus had converted himself into a concept as well and was now no longer available to be used as an active participant in the war.

So he turned to the Primordial Goddess Nyx who now resided in Tartarus (Abyss), but was shut down before he could even try to recruit her. This rejection caused his frustrations of constant disappointments to lash out.

But this was a foolish mistake. You see after Chaos and Gaia, Nyx and Tartarus were next Primordials that came into being. They unlike Chaos and Gaia were not consistent and present in every different Pantheon and were only part of the Greek Pantheon.

Technically making them the first members of the Pantheon except Chaos and Gaia, after Uranus and other Primordial Gods and Goddesses came into existence. And with Chaos, Gaia, and Tartarus now having been converted into concepts, Nyx was now the undisputed strongest Entity in the entire Pantheon.

So when Kronos raised his voice and threatened to chop her into a thousand pieces and disperse her, Nyx unsurprisingly handed his ass to him on a silver platter with his balls for desert (metaphorically speaking). And Kronos could only escape due to the help of the Scythe in his possession.

While Kronos suffered constant failures, on the other side of the spectrum, Zeus was had been meeting constant successes. All his siblings, the Titan Oceanus, his wife and all his children and grandchildren along with their entire army, Gaia and a non-interference pact with Nyx and all other Primordial Gods.

Zeus, Hades and Poseidon were equally powerful with no one having quite the definate edge over the other, but they were still young and Hades knew full well that the war would drag on for a long time. But he took it in stride as there was no better place other than a battlefield to grow more powerful.

Hades was quite happy to be finally free from the his eons of imprisonment and enjoyed the every stimulus the world provided and savoured it. His relationship with Poseidon had now really became that of bros. While Hestia was the best sister one could ask for.

His relationship with Demeter was still a bit awkward but a genuine respect was now present amongst them. Hera though was still an annoying Karen.

Zeus and Hades' dynamic was... rather weird. Both of them disliked each other but could still maintain a cordial relationship, which was a great pain in the ass for Poseidon cause he liked both of them, well Hades more than Zeus, but still.

Hades gained absolute control over his powers in about two or three tries, the same with his siblings, but the room to grow the quantity was something that needed to be achieved by oneself. This was where Zeus had the advantage, as he was trained since birth and his power had eclipsed theirs.

But since Hades and Poseidon were in Kronos' belly their bodies had grown much stronger than Zeus'. But all these advantages and disadvantages were only relevant in the short term as when they hit their prime they would be equal in power, magical or physical, as war is a great place for growth.

And soon the Titanomachy will begin....
