Opposed

The Sun irked Roxana for the first time,she felt like her body was burning standing under the sun. In City N, the place she used to live before, she used to take vocations to a beach which was more hot than this beach, but for the first time she feel her body as if it's going to burn instead of sweating.

Once she sat on the wooden beach chair with a large umbrella over her, she was finally able to cool herself from the scorching sun, she close her eyes with her arms crossed over her chest and decides to take a short nap.

After napping for a while, she felt someone sat beside her chair, at first she thought it was Evelyn but the person was silenced the whole time, so she find it's strange.

'What if it's Asher?' she asked herself in her mind.

A part of her really desires for him to be here with her in this place, as soon as she remember his name, she find herself missing him.

With her sunglasses on her face, she open her drowsy eyes and saw Evelyn far from where she sat was busy playing in seashore with the boys laughing and wetting themselves from the sea, she turned to look at the person besides her, her eyes under her sunglasses dropped a little bit. The person turned out to be Brian, she had hope in her heart that person to be Asher.

She and Brian doesn't interacted much, so she doesn't know how to speak to him, so she just smiles at him and was about to close her eyes to take a napped again, when she heard him speak to her.

"Is there something between you and Asher Shyne? " Brian asked her calmly.

Roxana eyes widened when she heard him, she hurriedly rebuff him, "Nothing, we're just Friends".

'How did he know', she thought to herself.

Precisely, like he knew her thought he said, " I saw you sitting in his car. "

The only time she sat on his car was the day they went to the lake.

"Why are you asking this? " Roxana asked.

Roxana feel strange because he's usually quiet and and doesn't initiate talking to her, the only time they talk was when they were introduced to each other.

"I just want to warn you, he's not as he appear to be", he spoke in his cold voice with a bit of seriousness which stunned her.

" You'll be the one who will get hurt in the end, if you get involves with him", he advise her.

He continues and gave her a significant look, "The Shyne's are the most ruthless people that I know, especially Asher, he will hunt you like a prey until he got you, you yourself might not realised how enchanting you are to him, you're Rian's, so I don't want you to get hurt. "

Roxana face was blanched when she heard Brian's words. Before it was Rian and Evelyn, now Brian came to warned her, it's like everyone was opposed of them being together. Her mind ought to believed them but her heart desires him, her passion for him is so intense that their words mean nothing to her. She doesn't care who he is, she doesn't care even if he doesn't like her or want to hunt her like a prey, it's doesn't matter to her because she had unknowingly and unconditionally in love with him.

"I know you had good intension by telling me this, but this is my business, So I hope you stop interfering", she speak in a lukewarm tone. The smile she had on her face before was now gone when she look at him.

Brian just look at her with his expressionless face, stood up from his seat and walk away.
