9 Chapter 9 System?
Finally the long awaited moment came, Nolan can saw that a blue panel was floating in front of him. It even said hello to him.
"Hi, system if I am right? Can you tell what can you do?" Nolan replied then inquired about something.
The system did not say anything, or even bother to reply at him. Then a words appeared in the floating panel.
[This system function is to help the host, increased his power, while also unlocking mission to evolve and break the human limits]
The system answered Nolan question with just a few words after that it did not even bother to reply.
"System is there a status of myself?" Nolan inquired, making him frowned from the poor customer service of this system.
[Opening Status]
The system electronic voice was sounded on his air. Then a blue panel showed his face his names and overall stats.

When Nolan saw his stats he saw that his strength is the only thing that is high, "Well this is not balanced at all, Thanks to those blue orb it will not become like this"
"Mana? Magic? How come there's something like this. Don't tell me, god did not let us down and bestowed us some kind of powers. Like those power rangers in the tv" Nolan mumbled, remembering the series he watch when he was a kid.
"I have 101 on Mana and 100 on Magic. What can I even use it for, I don't have any Magic skills anyway" Nolan said while shaking his head.
But then his eyes caught something, "Hidden Class Unique, 'Extractor' I've never heard this kind of class exist." Nolan exclaimed.
The only Class that he was familiar was, swordsman, Warrior, or mages. Those classes that he found in some novels, the Extractor is really new to him which caught his eyes.
"System can you show me, what does this Extractor do in my class" Nolan asked the system, then a panel appeared, showing its function.
[Extractor, embrace the power bestowed upon you! In this class, even the weakest transforms into the strongest. Crush your foes, absorb the orbs, and pave your way to glorious victory!]
The details said in the panel, Nolan who saw this had a forced smile on his face, "what a cringed description" he said.
"No wonder why I found those, orbs appearing when a zombie died. Then how come those orb dissappear even though I did not touch it" Nolan pondered, thinking about the first zombie he saw that was killed.
He did not touched the orbs at that time so how come it disappeared, his head was filled with question then the system provide him the answer.
[There's only a limited time of 2 hours for the orbs to appeared, if it reach above the designated time. Then it will evaporate and become one with the world]
Nolan who heard the system voice was enlightened, "no wonder why I did not see it, I though that someone already beat me to it. But I was wrong because of my class I think that I'm the only one who can see and touch this orbs because of my unique class"
Nolan then directed his way, down the mountain and decided to go now and find a nearest village or town.
He can see that the sun was in the center of the sky, clearly indicating its 12, Nolan had to find some people living in this place in order to know where he is.
Nolan was jogging his way down dodging those branches that may come in his way, while also leaping to not get hit by those tall bushes.
He did not see any zombie appearing from this area, because he know that its the mountain so how come some zombie will appear here, then as if lightning struck him.
"Wait if there are only few zombies in the mountain, doesn't that means the city must be full of zombies right now?" Nolan though anxiously.
"I have to go back, I need to find a way and ask for directions" Nolan though inwardly wracking his brain while increasing his pace down the mountain.
He saw, just a little far away from him that the endless streams of trees stopped right there.
Nolan increased his speed, then he was out he took a deep breathed while looking the sky. He then gazed back to know here he was now and was stunned.
"What a bad luck" Nolan eyes turned cold and serious, while looking in front.
What he saw was a tall gate, and high walls and a mansion inside it. There was a high cemented walls and tough iron gate that the zombie's can't go inside.
But the problem is, he was not inside the mansion he was outside while the zombie's where looking at him, hungrily.
There is at least over 30 of them right now, standing just a few meters away from him.
"If killing is the only way to become stronger then I will comply. To go back and see if mom and my little sister is ok" Nolan said coldy while looking at crowd of zombie in front of him.
Unfazed by fear, Nolan's overwhelming desire to reunite with his family eclipsed any sense of dread. He charged towards the approaching horde of zombies with the speed of a cannonball, plowing through them.
The ones in front were sent flying like balls upon being tackled by Nolan, who now stood at the center of the chaos.
Surrounded from all corners, escape seemed futile for Nolan. Cursing himself, he couldn't suppress his anger.
"I forgot they're not humans anymore; they're zombies. Tossing them aside or beating them won't work – they rise up like it's nothing," he thought, realizing his usual tactic of getting surrounded by enemies was no longer effective.
While those he fought back then were already done by just beating them up. This does not apply to the zombies at all, they don't feel the sensation of pain or any discomforts no matter what he do.
"Screw it, I'll just fight my way out" while looking at the zombie sorrounding him coldly.
The zombie then began to swarm him, from all direction, Nolan took a stance. And when the zombie in his back leaped to take him down.
He hit the zombie jaw with knees making it go up while kicking it away, because there are also zombies himself behind him, they were also thrown away.
Nolan then sidestep when the zombie attacked him, he punched its head making it stumbled. On the ground.
Because of the orbs his strength greatly increased its like having a 2 person power in just 1 body because of his points In strength that is over 23.
He throw a barrage of punches, to fan them away and it worked they, flew like scraps in the air. When the zombie took a surprise attack towards Nolan back.
He raised his foot and kicked it in the head making it spin, like a beyblade. Nolan just beat half of them, and there are still half of them left.
But when Nolan saw that, those he beat up this earlier where standing, up and confronting him yet again he knew that using his barefist is futile.
He gazed at the gate, that was over like 10 foot tall. He decided to retreat than to confront, because his unarmed.
Nolan saw that some of the zombie's were covering his way, but in just a sweep of his leg and a punch to the face all of them flew and did not even struggle.
The zombie's behind him chased like dogs covered by only their instincts, to chased their prey.
Nolan just cleared the way and when he saw that, he was closed he used his last bit of strength on his legs and directed his way up.
He jumped for about 9 foot on the ground, this is the only limit power of his jump, he held the upper part of the gate to not make him fall.
When he gazed down the zombie's who were swarming him down there, growling while their hands up high trying to reach him.
"I'll be back" Nolan said coldly while, springing his self up finally inside the gate. He took a perfect landing while also, dropping to the ground.
He was not just physically exhausted, Nolan was also mentally fatigued. He already used every ounce of his senses to detect if there are any dangers but he did not find one. So he just took a breathed down there, to replenish his energy.
The biggest problem is that, he did not even killed any zombie while fighting there. Making him a little unsatisfied from skills, especially his strength.
Unknown to him in the window above the mansion in the second floor. The curtains were covered but a slight gap can be seen where an eye was checking at Nolan.
