14 Chapter 14 Awakened

Nolan seeing her, looking at something in the air. Liked a dazed person, know exactly what she's seeing.

"Are you seeing it as well" Nolan said, waking her up from her dazed state.

Jasmine directed her gaze towards Nolan, who was looking at her eyes. She nodded and said, "Yes, are you talking about this blue panel?" She asked.

"Yes if you look at it clearly, it's just like a game stats, after you kill the required zombie you will unlock its function and become strong just like me" Nolan answered.

Jasmine was shock and surprised, even Sophia from the side could not belive.

"A game like system in the real world that's literally amazing" Jasmine and Sophia mumble in their mind at the same time.

"So now that you have finished killing, at least 1 zombie's only 9 left to go" Nolan said while helping jasmine stand up to balance herself seeing that she's fine now.

"Do you still have the willpower to kill?" Nolan asked with a glint of killing intent in his eyes.

Jasmine looking at Nolan, avoiding an eye contact when he felt the killing intent imenating from his eyes.

She lowered her head, then decided to look at Nolan face with a determined look.

"I have" Jasmine said full of determination.

"Can I also take part in it" Sophia utter when Jasmine finished relaying her words.

Jasmine who heard this, look at her little sister angrily, "Sophy are you out of your mind, this is not some high-school games, this involved your real life don't even think about taking part in this. I will not let you."

Sophia was stunned from her sister, strong disagreement for her to take part in it.

"But sis I don't want you to shoulder everything, so can I just...." Sophia was about to explain but she was cut off.

"Shut it, that is final if I say no then its no" Jasmine said, while staring at her sister.

Sophia was about to say something but surrendered, her sister is such a dominating woman. If she already decided then there's no way for her to change her mind.

Nolan who was looking at the drama unfolding before his very eyes, could not help but shook his head. This is family matters so getting involved is not good.

"So do you wanna continue" Nolan muttered.

"Yes" Jasmine replied.

Then, suddenly Nolan with a flick of his finger, the bluish flame maneuver into the air. Then when Jasmine look at where the bluish flame was shot she saw that it hit something.

The zombie head was burning with bluish flame, the distance is only 40 meters away. So that why jasmine did not see it because it's just just a little far. Also a little dark making her vision to not see it.

"Go ahead and killed it, while the flame was still blurring its vision." Nolan said.

Jasmine nodded while holding the knife on her hand, she sprinted her way towards the zombie who was growling in pain. As it feel its flesh was burning beginning to turn charcoal.

It's vision was hazy, because of the flame that's constantly burning its head forming like a helmet of flame.

As he was suffering he felt that a sharp blade pierce its head, then a flopping sound was heard as the zombie falls in to the ground lifelessly.

With the blue flame beginning to disappeared, covering he's head. Nolan seeing how effective his skill is could not help but be satisfied.

He just only used 5 Mana from that by making a pebble sized Fireball, on he's fingertips shooting it towards zombie.

But the burning of that small flame was powerful, even though it cannot kill the target. But it can still have a huge support to inject pain and blurry vision on its target.

"Let's continue"

Then, the serene forest in the middle of the night grown restless. As there was light illuminating the place, one after another. After a long time finally they have completed the requirements.

"Nolan, its done. I've completed the requirements" Jasmine said excitedly, after a long hours of hunting. Of course she would be happy.

"That's good, try opening your stats to see what skills you have" Nolan suggested.

"Ok, I'll tell you after I'm done looking" Jasmine exclaimed while hurriedly checking the blue panel.

When she looked up at her stats, she could not but feel disappointed. Nolan seeing her expression was curious.

"So how was it?" Nolan asked.

Jasmine who heard Nolan inquiries, was shy she replied, " well it's kinda low, to be exact"

Nolan who heard this still did not understand what's going on, "can you be more specific"

Jasmine was about to faint, but she adjusted herself, "Isn't this particularly normal for newbies like me to have low stats?"

She asked, Nolan who heard the word low already understand the gist.

"Well cheer up a bit, that's particularly normal when you just started." Nolan consoled.

"Then what is your is your attributes, when you've just awakened?" Jasmine inquired.

"Well to be exact my strength is capped at 21 and my lowest attribute agility is 17. For the current its a secret" Nolan answered while hiding his current stats.

He did not trust Jasmine fairly well, so even if the information about his stats is not really confidential. Taking precautions is normal right.

Jasmine who heard this was stunned, "what did you just say, that's clearly cheating I started with a low stats which the highest is 12 and you started at least 2 times as mine. That's clearly cheating"

Nolan who heard this, know that his class is really overpowered. He can just kill and absorbed their attributes to make him stronger.

"Well we have our different specialtist" Nolan said, while scratching his head.

Sophia who was at the back, doesn't understand what these two were talking about at all. While she was in her world she heard Nolan voice on calling out to her.

"So, Sophia do you want to awaken as well" Nolan inquired.

"Awaken?" Sophia spoked filled with question marks.

She know the benefits of being an awakened, that she can become strong and get some powers. But still her knowledge about it is still low so the only way to find out was to become an awakened.

"Yes, I want to" she said while raising her arms.

"Oh he'll no! I will not let my sister fought, the zombie's risking his life. I will protect her with my life so she does not need to train" Jasmine protest.

"But sis I" Sophia was about to argue but was cut off.

"Shut your lips young lady, ill be the one to decide here. This is not like fun and games, I will protect you if something bad happen alright" Jasmine said with an frosty expression.

Sophia who was about to continue her argue, but stop midway when she met. Her sister frosty glare .

Nolan seeing this, decided to not partake in this quarrel and mind he's own business.

"So now that you have awakened, what are you gonna do now?" Nolan asked.

Jasmine looked at Nolan and said, "I will have to become strong and look for our parents, in the city"

"Then good luck with that, Im'ma just sleep in your place for today. Tomorrow I will move out" Nolan said.

"Sure" Jasmine just nodded her head.

Sophia on the side felt a little reluctant, to let Nolan go seeing that he was handsome and most of all cool and strong.
