1 World building

The world is called Gaia and it will be based on Bronze Age Greece.

Yes, there will be "gods" but they won't be the Greek gods we know, the Greek mythology of earth will only serves as a reference point, this being more or less a low fantasy the gods while having long lives and can do a bit of magic can't move entire mountains.

This world would be gender swapped so as to spice things up, I've taken the inspiration after watching documentaries of ants and lions.

Did you know that all of the worker ants are actually female or that there's only one male in lion packs, within lion society it's the females that hunts the food.

So in Gaia it's the female will be the once that work while the males will be the ones that stay at home.

The reason of this gender reversal is because the gender ration of Gaia is not 1:1 (one male per one female), it's more like 1:10.

I'm not a social biologist so this is just a random guess but the key point is that there's much more females than males, to the point that males are highly valued and it's the female that's the disposable gender.

The males in Gaia being the protected gender will naturally be much small that the female just like the logic in our would with males being bigger.

As for clothing? Females being the active gender would be mostly wearing skirts with exception of those taking in non-active roles while male would be wearing long robes.

Note that in our world women wore long dresses and No, women in Ancient Greece didn't wear skirts. Statues of Athena an actual goddess of war still wore long dresses and it's not like the Greeks are conservative about nudity as there are plenty of female nude sculptures of Aphrodite for that, it's just that you won't find woman wearing short skirt in Ancient Greece. With only exception I could think of is a sculpture of Artemis the goddess of the hunt but that sculpture was made by a Roman sculptor in the 4th century well within Late Empire era when Rome was fully Christianised and the old Roman pantheon died out.

Now in this otherworld due to female being the more active gender, this more reasonable for them to wear a skirts.

Now on to the MC

MC is called Alexander

A history nerd that's horned from a ranch family being the history nerd that he is, he has taken up the Idea of making a history focused YouTube channel.

A few years down the line his channel finally grow to the size where he can start making more expensive projects, such as buying or hiring blacksmiths for swords and armour for his videos.

Before he was transported he was making an epic intro for his upcoming series pertaining to knights.

So he was all decked out in his newly arrived 15th century german gothic plate armour (custom tailored to his size and he has been waiting months for) , a zweihander strapped to his back, a mosaic Damascus bastard-sword (a custom order made by a renowned blacksmith) on his side and on top of a fully barded horse (his family's horse)
