95 Chapter 95: Mathematics Club

The morning study session went by smoothly, during lunch she went with her classmates to the canteen for lunch. They all sat down on the same table and chat while eating. She also saw Zhang Ming Ming and can only say hi to her and her girlfriends because their table is already full.

And while they were eating, Bai Yi Yang can feel a glare towards her and met eyes with the gothic girl from before. Her eyes is full of hatred towards her, what more, Bai Yi Yang is sitting next to Bai Yi Chen now, laughing and chatting happily. Her hatred immediately flared. Bai Yi Yang also feel annoyed with this, so she said softly to Bai Yi Chen.

"You admirer is staring daggers at me. I almost become a bully victim because of you." She said as she elbow his arm.

"What are you talking about?" Bai Yi Chen is confused.

"There.." Bai Yi Yang openly pointed at the gothic girl from a distance. Everyone in their table also turn to look at the gothic girl, Bai Yi Chen also frown in dislike.

When the short haired gothic girl was caught staring, she immediately look away. What more, Bai Yi Chen seems to be looking at her direction too.

"Did she bully you? Don't be afraid, just tell us. She usually don't dare to bully anyone from our class since we always report them immediately." Mo Yi Ru said.

"Yeah, she and her gangs like to bully others, they target those students who don't have a backing, especially that one since her mother work at a government office." Fang Xiu Ying the second smartest person in their class said. Her father works at the same place as that leader bully's mother.

"Isn't she supposed to be more afraid to affect her mother with her behaviour?" Bai Yi Yang is confused.

"That's why she target those students who's parents are farmers to scare them." Su Long said. He also don't like those groups, he was almost a bullying victim because his parents only own a shop in town.

"Oh, Long Long. So you can talk?" Liu Shan said.

"Shut up, we are talking about serious matter here." Mo Yi Ru hit Liu Shan head.

"She wanted to bully me because she misunderstand me with my brother, but she thinks she can? What a joke." Bai Yi Yang said laughing. She is sure that the girl can guess their conversations, let her feels what it's like to be bullied, this is another type of bullying too, it's just that they are verbally bullying a bully at the first place.

"That's our girl!" Mo Yi Ru said.

"Do you need me to talk to her?" Bai Yi Chen said.

"No need, that's a waste of time." She smile with triumph as she look at that girl.

After that, their class leave after clearing up their table.

"Haiyoo!! I don't know that a bully also need to eat rice ohh..what a waste." Liu Shan said loudly as they passed by the group of bully's table. Class 1 students then laugh and the other who is not afraid of the bully also laugh.

Their faces was ugly. This is the first time that a group of people openly dissed them in public. But, people don't pity them at all, this group is really a bad one. They are really notorious in the school.

After lunch hour, Class 1 have one period which is Chinese language before they can go to their respective club meeting. Mr.Ling also comes early and hand their phone over before the club activities.

Bai Yi Yang is in Mathematics club, together with 10 or something of her classmates. As for Bai Yi Chen, he is in IT club, which cause Bai Yi Yang to envy him so much, why can't they change club in the middle of the semester?

Bai Yi Yang cling onto Fang Xiu Ying lazily as they head to the meeting place. There is three more girls with them, they were all true maths lover unlike her, a fake one who answer mathematics questions for survival.

"Yi Yang, you are so weird, you loves math so much before, other than Su Long and Xiu Ying, you also gets high marks in maths. Why are you being like this now?" A girl was laughing seeing her depressed face.

"That time..I was blind.." Bai Yi Yang said. The girls immediately laugh and said other benefits of joining Mathematics club, the male seniors is handsome and smart.

"Trust me.." Fang Xiu Ying also agree.

And just like what they said, the Mathematics club really has a few good looking senior. There are actually a lot of seniors in this club, smart looking seniors. Their club's president is the most charming, he is wearing a spectacles, very tall and dressed neatly, even his hair is combed back like those idol's style. Bai Yi Yang also cannot help but stare more.

"Ohh, you must be a new junior.." The club president smile at her. Bai Yi Yang never seen someone as handsome as Bai Yi Chen before, but this president is really not bad.

'Host, you are blinded. Gege is still more handsome, you just found him more handsome because he is not your brother.' TongTong said, feeling wronged for Bai Yi Chen.

'Shut up, let me be happy for a while.' Bai Yi Yang said.

"Hello senior. I am not new. My name is Bai Yi Yang." Bai Yi Yang smile back.

"Hello senior, my name is Fang Xiu Ying." Fang Xiu Ying also like this senior so she also move closer.

The club president ends up sitting with them, a few of his friends also came over and chat. Only when the club coordinator enter did he came forward to talk with the coordinator, it is a female teacher. Other than Mr.Ling, they have other Maths teacher in school of course.

Their club activities today is like usual, they will answer Olympiad questions and discuss it. Su Long is a top 10 students of this Mathematics Club so he gets to come in front to solve questions just like other top 10 who are mostly seniors.

"Today, let's someone who is not in the team to attempt a question. Does any of you wanted to recommend someone?" The coordinator ask the Mathematics Olympiad team, which is exactly the top 10 students.

Some of them recommend their friends who is interested in joining the official team to enter competitions. But they weren't able to solve their respective questions and ends up surrendering.

Actually, as long as someone has potential, the school is willing to pay for 2-3 more students but usually only the top 10 will go since even the 10th place can barely passed the test. The point was as long as they can passed the school level test.

"I wanted to recommend Student Bai Yi Yang." Su Long as the most junior amongst the top 10 raise up his hand. Bai Yi Yang eyes widened at this sudden recommendation.

"Okay, Student Bai Yi Yang come forward.." The coordinator called.

"Teacher, I am not very good in Mathematics.." Bai Yi Yang said honestly. At this point, she wanted to strangle Su Long on the spot, she just wanted to come to the Mathematic Club to see handsome senior, not to join the Olympiad.

"It's fine, you can read it first and think for a while." The coordinator said with smile. They weren't here to condemn student, what more, a club activity is different than a formal teaching session, they can take it easy.

Bai Yi Yang smile and nod, she gritted her teeth when she passed by Su Long. Su Long was confused, wasn't he just helping her? Bai Yi Yang actually know how to solve the questions on the board, she just doesn't want to. Since she is already in front, she doesn't want to be embarrassed so she took the marker pen and start writing the answers on the whiteboard.

"Very good!" The coordinator clap her hands followed by the club members after she put down the marker pen. Bai Yi Yang smile at the teacher, then glared at Su Long.

"Junior Bai is really humble." The club president also smile at her. Bai Yi Yang just nod at him and return to her seat.

"Is there anyone else?" The coordinator ask.

"This is a good opportunity to joined the team." The coordinator add.

After that, a few more brave students including Fang Xiu Ying raise her hands. Bai Yi Yang encouraged her but she also cannot answer the new questions on board. Amongst the many who tried, only 1 person from Grade 11 Class 2 able to answer 2 out of 5. It's not a pass but the coordinator still applaud her though.

"Student Bai Yi Yang, why don't you try the rest." The coordinator suddenly called again. This makes the top 10 students also shocked, usually the coordinator will call the number 1 to solve these difficult one first.

"En." Bai Yi Yang stood up. Since it can't be avoided, then just finished it quickly bah. Bai Yi Yang then filled in the 3 unanswered questions, receiving another applause from the coordinator.

"Welcome to the team!" The coordinator said to Bai Yi Yang.

"What?!" Bai Yi Yang feels like she ate a fly. She doesn't want to ah. Can she reject it? But won't she seems to be rude if she reject it now? She decided to keep quiet for now and talk to the coordinator later.

Along the hellish 2 hours of solving maths questions, Bai Yi Yang was called again for 2 more times, she stood up a total of 4 times. The top 10 students is finally convinced that she is really good, even better than at least half of them top 10.

When the club activities ends 15 minutes before 4 pm, Bai Yi Yang rush to catch the coordinator.

"Teacher, I don't think I can join the team" She said.

"And why is that?" The coordinator ask.

"I already promised to join the R&D team. The competition will be in May and I will be very busy and unable to train with the team." Bai Yi Yang said.

"Sir Austin is sending out a team this year?" The coordinator was shocked.

"Yes teacher. Sir Austin is still putting up a team now, he told me that he will talk with my club coordinator later." Bai Yi Yang said.

"Then..there is nothing to do. Why don't we do this, we usually trained the team by answering pass year questions, you are classmates with Su Long right? I will also give you a copy, you try answering them during your free time, if you can answers all of them on your own, then I will register your name, no need to come to the team training. What do you say?" The coordinator said. Actually, she sees great potential in Bai Yi Yang, from her way of skipping unnecessarily steps just like answering from a marking scheme.

"Can I really do that?" Bai Yi Yang ask.

"Yes of corse, the training class is for discussing hard questions, if you can answer it, then why do you need to train again. Of course you must do it honestly." The coordinator said.

"Then, I will do that." Bai Yi Yang said.

After that she said goodbye to Fang Xiu Ying and go to the school gate, she enters the school bus first and wait for Zhang Ming Ming and Bai Yi Chen. She then scroll through her phone and saw Zhou Zhu Yao sent her a text messages. It was the piles of air conditioners and big box of televisions in their living room. There is also a bunch of pictures of their kitchen and big refrigerator.

Zhou Zhu Yao sends a bunch of messages saying that she can't believe that she is in their house at all. After that, it didn't ends there, in the evening about 2.30 pm, Zhou Zhu Yao again sends the picture of the almost full rooms of stuff from Brand HN, that was their mattress and beddings. Zhou Zhu Yao write 'EXPLAIN!' at the end.

Bai Yi Yang just smile, she will explain this later. She then put away her phone after Zhang Ming Ming and Bai Yi Chen arrives, Zhang Ming Ming is in Geography club, he said the meeting room is comfortable and their coordinator will usually let them watch movies, that's why she joined the club. After everyone has come, their bus finally leave the school.
