62 Chapter 62: Breakfast with the kids

The next morning, Bai Yi Yang was woken up by a soft knock on the door. She immediately got up and went to open the door.

"I am going. You go back to sleep." Bai Yi Chen is standing at the door. He is wearing his new clothes, he look like a handsome teenage idol and he is going to go shop for meat, what an image breaker, tsk, tsk, tsk. Bai Yi Yang thought.

"Ohh..be careful." She said to him with a smile. Bai Yi Chen nod and was about to leave.

"How about breakfast?" Bai Yi Yang finally remember that she hadn't make breakfast.

"I will eat an apple on the way. I am not hungry." He said.

"Alright, don't be stingy, eat something in town." Bai Yi Yang said.

She already transferred 1,000 yuan to Bai Yi Chen last night after sending the list, it should be enough for him even if he went to eat at Bifang restaurant. But from her understanding about him, he will not use a single cent extra other than the things that he need to buy.

Bai Yi Yang went to the East house to sleep with Bai Yi Mo after Bai Yi Chen left, it was still early, it isn't even 7 am now. She didn't understand why Bai Yi Chen need to go that early.

Bai Yi Yang was woken up by Bai Yi Mo when it was almost 8 am, she woke up late today. Maybe because she have a mindset that she should just rest on Sundays, her body also don't want to wake up early. Bai Yi Yang roll over the mattress and ignore Bai Yi Mo. She wanted to lie down a bit more.

"Jie..where is gege?" Bai Yi Mo didn't give up, he shake her arm to wake her up.

"To town.." She lazily answer.

"Town?! I want to go too." Bai Yi Mo complain and lie on her back, since she is lying on her stomach now, when the 5 years old boy laid on her back, it make a collision sound.

Bai Yi Yang doesn't have a big build and the 5 years old boy is really not light, she feels like she will be crushed to death if it's not because of her extraordinarily strength.

"Xiao Mo, Xiao Mo…you roll away first." Bai Yi Yang said, her sleepiness is gone now.

"Gege went to town and leave us at home.." Bai Yi Mo sigh and roll away. Bai Yi Yang sat up, retied her hair and look at the boy who is making a mess by rolling back and forth on the quilt.

"You are too heavy, you look skinny but heavy. You almost crush jiejie to death.." Bai Yi yang said. Bai Yi Mo laugh cheerfully, he found it funny.

He ends up being carried at the back by her sister when they come out of the East house. Bai Yi Yang think that she were never that close with Bai Yi Mo, Bai Yi Mo seems like the most carefree amongst the siblings, so she tend to forget that he is only 1 year older than Bai Yi Fang, when their parents passed, he must have suffered to since he was at the age that understand many more things than Bai Yi Fang.

When Bai Yi Fang who is sitting dazedly next to the puppies who just been fed by Bai Yi Ling saw this, she immediately ran over and demanded that her sister carried her too.

Bai Yi Yang just go along with their request, as a result, when they step into the kitchen with Bai Yi Mo clinging at her back and Bai Yi Fang hugging her like monkey in front, Bai Yi Ling who is peeling the fruits frown at her two younger sibling.

"You two are not light, stop clinging onto jiejie." She said. The two siblings just ignore her and request that Bai Yi Yang drop them onto their respective chair. Bai Yi Yang also just laugh at them.

"What do you want for breakfast?" She ask her siblings who is now munching on the apple slice that Bai Yi Ling has placed on a plate.

"Chocolate drink!" Bai Yi Mo said.

"Me too, me too.." Bai Yi Yang said.

"Alright your highness youngest prince and princess.." Bai Yi Yang pretend to curtsy, making her siblings giggle.

"Xiao Ling too?" She ask.

"En. Thanks jie." Bai Yi Ling said.

"No problem your highness second princess.." She reply with the same tone just now. The two youngest one immediately clap and start calling Bai Yi Ling 2nd princess jiejie, making Bai Yi Ling embarrassed and scold them.

Bai Yi Yang went to check the kettle and there is not enough boiled water so she add some water before putting it in a stove again. After that, went to the ceiling length cabinet and took the chocolate powder that she already transferred into a glass jar, and also the jar of sugar in the same compartment.

When the two youngest sibling who was absent yesterday saw this cabinet, they were immediately attracted to it. It wasn't fully filled but they seems like they are in store.

"Jie, this is all ours?" Bai Yi Mo step forward and look up and down.

"Then who do you think it belongs to?" Bai Yi Yang answer. Bai Yi Mo and Bai Yi Fang stood in front of the ceiling length cabinet and count the number of compartment.

"Even the puppies has their own compartment." Bai Yi Fang laugh.

"They are our family now, they also got their own food." Bai Yi Yang said as she scoop out small amount of sugar into each mug, then scoop out the cocoa powder. She only need to add hot water now.

Then she proceed with making the batter for the chives pancakes, after washing the chives from the fridge again, she cut it some more and mix it into the thin batter. The vegetables compartment is good, it didn't damage the vegetables with its temperature, the chives is still very fresh.

She just followed the picture on each compartment of the refrigerator. The left side fridge is unlike the right side where other than the top freezer compartment for Ice creams and edible ice and the lower part all has quite similar temperature that is not lower than 1 degree celsius. The left side has three freezer compartment on the 3 topmost compartment, then 1 chiller compartment and lastly vegetables drawer at the bottom, similar to the right side.

There are also a lot of space at the door that they can store various things. It was a very spacious fridge, when they start actively use it the future, then she will also know how to adjust the temperature later.

Bai Yi Yang heat the pan on the stove before drizzling some oil in the pan after it heats up. Then, she scoop out a portion of batter with chives and put it on the frying pan, it makes a delicious sizzling sound.

Since the pan is flat, it was very easy to make the chives pancake thinner, it was very satisfying since it doesn't stick to the pan, Bai Yi Yang can show off her cooking skills to her siblings. They even purposefully ask her to flip the pancakes on the pan and clap for her. She cannot believe herself, when did she start becoming childish like this? She even enjoy this little things that she thinks as useless before.

Bai Yi Yang make 3 pieces of chives pancakes before covering the batter with plastic wrap and put it in the fridge. They can make another 3-4 pieces with the remaining batter.

After that, she pour the hot water into the mugs and stir them, she didn't bring it to the dinner table since it is still too hot, when they start eating, it will be at the right temperature for the kids to drink.

She return to the cabinet and took out 2 packets of black bean spicy noodle. She pour some hot water in the sauce pan and put it to boil once again, then she add the noodle into it. At the same time, she also cook 4 sunny side up eggs on the frying pan.

When the noodle is cooked, she pour out half of water inside and add the seasoning. Bai Yi Yang didn't add all the spicy spicy sauce, she only add one of it and put away the extra one. As she stir the noodle with the sauce, it start thickening, she also add some oil in it and the shiny black colour become appetising. When it cooks, she turn of the fire and ask Bai Yi Ling to set the table.

Bai Yi Yang placed each sunny side up eggs onto their plate, then she use chopsticks to serve the black bean noodle onto their plate. The chives pancakes is in the middle with the sauce she made, and lastly a cup of hot cocoa for each of them. Bai Yi Yang took a picture of food on the table, the visual is amazing, she thought.

"Have a try. This is black bean noodle, its not very spicy." Bai Yi Yang said. The brave two youngest sibling taste it, they have some black stain on the side of their mouth when they took their bite. Bai Yi Yang immediately took a picture and send it over to Bai Yi Chen, she laugh at the funny plus adorable picture.

"What taste is this? I thought it was going to be salty." Bai Yi Ling said. The two children didn't say anything, they are busy eating, seems like this kind of sweet salty spicy taste is to their liking.

"This is black bean paste, if you taste it carefully, there is also a little bitter taste with it. You okay with the taste?" She asked Bai Yi Ling.

"En, it's quite good." Bai Yi Ling nod.

"Then eat more." Bai Yi yang said as she eat too. Both Bai Yi Mo and Bai yi Fang is a big fan of the black bean noodle, so they ate a lot. Bai Yi Yang and Bai Yi Ling ate the usual amount.

"This holiday is the best, we have money and can buy all the food that we want to eat." Bai Yi Mo is now leaning back on his chair, his plate is clean and the cocoa drink is half finished.

"Yeah, after the holiday, we will eat at Grandma Zhou place again, we better eat a lot now." Bai Yi Fang said.

"Is the food at Grandma Zhou not good?" Bai Yi Yang ask. She knows that the elderly couple is good to them siblings but she still ask since she doesn't want to believe people blindly, what if things like the Bai family happened again. Its not wrong to take precautions.

"They are talking nonsense, Zhu Yao jiejie cooking is okay." Bai Yi Ling said in defence for the old Zhou family youngest daughter Zhou Zhu Yao.

"Good, good." Bai Yi Mo laugh awkwardly.

"Who is Zhu Yao jiejie?" Bai Yi Yang ask. Her forgetting some people is already common to them, what more Bai Yi Yang rarely interact with people in the village before, it is natural that she doesn't remember. This is the siblings assumption.

"Old Zhou youngest daughter. Zhu Yao jiejie is the only one staying with Grandma and Grandpa Zhou in the village, she takes care of the house and Xiao Mo and Fang Fang in the morning." Bai Yi Ling explain.

"Then, she cannot cook?" Bai Yi Yang ask.

"Can, but it doesn't taste good." Bai Yi Fang said honestly. Out of them, Fang Fang and Xiao Mo is the closest to the Zhou family, they are like the grandchildren there while Bai Yi Ling only stay there after school for a while.

"I will tell Zhu Yao jiejie and tell her not to braid your hair anymore." Bai Yi Ling said to Bai Yi Fang.

"I.." Bai Yi Fang wanted to say something else but didn't continue. She was a bit rude of saying that Zhu Yao jiejie food taste bad.

Bai Yi Yang didn't comment anything, it seems like her siblings is really treated good there. They really owe the Zhou family a lot in taking care of the younger siblings.
