252 Chapter 252: Dongfang Li Ming’s connection

Dongfang Qi Ze's subordinate had a feast again at the rest stop area in City Shan while Dongfang Qi Ze still eat in the car. He texted Bai Yi Yang that he have arrived at City Shan as usual and told her that he will text her the next morning.

When he arrived home in City Zhou after midnight, he instructed Assistant Long to send some fruits and mushrooms to the old man in Dongfang residence tomorrow morning. He have a lot and the old man like it, just give him a few bah. Some are to be distributed among the assistants too.

So, Assistant Long prepared another beautiful basket of different type of fruits and a styrofoam box with all the freshly picked mushrooms. Then, he bring it back to the Dongfang family's old residence.

"Ah, Assistant Long is here. I never thought that I will see you again so soon. Why did Ah Ze send you this time?" Dongfang Li Ming receive Assistant Ling with exaggerated big laugh, he is asking this question but his eyes already darted onto the basket of fresh fruits and styrofoam box that was brought in from outside. Basically, he is pretending to be clueless.

"Old master, young master indeed told me to bring some fruits from Bai Mountain again, what more there are also freshly picked mushrooms from Bai Mountain this time. They are very fresh and nutritious." Assistant Long said with a smile.

"Yo! Your young master is really capable, people only able to get hold of the dried mushrooms but your young master is able to get his hand on freshly picked mushrooms?" It was Dongfang Yi who said this while sending a provoking look at her 4th brother, Dongfang Qiu. "Let me have a look." Dongfang Li Ming ignore his eldest daughter words and call the housekeeper to come closer, he wanted to see what kind of fruits it is this time and what good freshly picked mushrooms did his grandson sends.

"Good, good, take it away." Dongfang Li Ming said after looking at the fresh fruits one by one, they look fresh, as if just picked. The leaves are intact too. He is very satisfied again this time.

"En, what fragrant smell is this?" The old master ask when the styrofoam box is open.

"The young master got some Matsutake foraged from Bai Mountain too, half is given to old master to enjoy." Assistant Long said flatteringly.

"You are right! This is all fine mushrooms. That brat, he have a good friend and didn't forget this old one at home." Dongfang Li Ming laugh aloud.

"Tell him to take care of his health and take a break sometimes. Health is the most important." Dongfang Li Ming said again. Assistant Long nod.

The rest of people on the table have their own thought in mind. Recently, the old master favour Dongfang Qi Ze more and more, last week when Dongfang Qi Ze send over the basket of fruits, the old master didn't hesitate to call some of his old friends in Country J to make it easier for Dongfang Qi Ze regarding the current business that is going on with the companies in Country J. "I will deliver this words to the young master later." Assistant Long nod.

"Ah, how about this. This Friday, I will have a meeting with some of my old friends in City Shang, it's just a meeting between old friends, play some golf and hang out. You empty Ah Ze's schedule and let him follow me, I will ask my secretary to send the exact details to you." Dongfang Li Ming said again.

Assistant Long almost jump in joy. Well, this so called casual meetings between old friends is what Dongfang Qi Ze need the most now. Dongfang Qi Ze is already amazing on his own but he is still the younger generation, if he wanted to integrate himself into the circle of those who have been holding powers for tens of years, he still need the old master's connection. "You never even bring us to meet your friends before." Dongfang Yi said in low complaining voice.

"My old friends like young people with a lot of energy." Dongfang Li Ming look at his eldest daughter and said this. Well, the reason he didn't bring his children is because he knows that they will be busy making connections. It is a gathering between friends, he will lose his face if his children act like that. Ah Ze is just nice, he know how that brat going to act, his old friends like young people who have that kind of bearing much more. How to say it, someone that doesn't look too eager to please and have a cool personality.

"Enough, stop talking about this." Dongfang Li Ming close the topic and happily continue to eat breakfast. After this, he can eat the fruits sent by his grandson and during lunch, he can finally taste the fresh mushrooms picked from Bai Mountain.

"Dad, can you talk to Ah Ze and him to introduce me to his friend. That way, I can get unlimited supply of Bai Mountain's produce." The 4th son Dongfang Qiu said. His concern is different than his older siblings, he just want to do well in his current management. What more, his intention of getting his father's approval is different, instead of more power, he just wanted to bring his only daughter, Sierra into the family register. "Then you go meet him at his company. It's not like you don't know that child, he don't like mixing up personal matter with business. This problem is yours, don't involve me. If you really can't find way to find the Bai Mountain's boss, you find other way to expand your business. You look for San Mountain or Ling Mountain to do business with." Dongfang Li Ming said sarcastically. The eldest daughter Dongfang Yi and the 3rd son Dongfang Min have small smiles on their face, clearly mocking Dongfang Qiu in silent.

"I understand dad." Dongfang Qiu can only sigh and nod. He send glare to his older sister and brother before swallowing his breakfast bitterly.

Bai Mountain produce was a golden opportunity, but if he really can't get the information from Dongfang Qi Ze, then he can only find another way.

In Dongfang Qi Ze's office, the quiet atmosphere inside the office suddenly change when Assistant Long mentioned about the old master's invitation to his close friends gathering.

"Why did that old man suddenly brought this out?" Dongfang Qi Ze frown. Who wants to join some old people hanging out together?

"I think the old master is touched by your act of filial piety to him. As you know, the old master tried many ways to get his hands on Bai Mountain's produce all this time and young master sent it to his door two times already." Assistant Long said. He is actually quite happy for his young master but he have known his young master for years, he doesn't seems to like the idea very much.

"Whatever. When is it?" Dongfang Qi Ze said. He gave some of it to his assistant too since Bai Yi Yang told him to give it to colleagues and relatives. It must be Assistant Long who did some extra talking, making that old man think that it was an act of filial piety from him.

Towards the old man, Dongfang Qi Ze at most look at him as a teacher, a teacher that he don't really like. What if he don't, he bet he will be treated the same way as Dongfang Li Ming treat his other incompetent children and grandchildren. In other way, Dongfang Qi Ze had long give up on getting real affection from his blood related family. It didn't matter to him now since he have Bai Yi Yang.

"You will head to City Sheng with the old master on Friday night, these gathering usually ended on Saturday night. We should be able to return by Sunday morning." Assistant Long brief it shortly.

Dongfang Qi Ze frown when he heard this, seems like he won't be able to meet Bai Yi Yang this weekend because of this arrangement.

"Young master, I think this is a golden opportunity that we must take. If you solidify your power, similar incident like last time won't happened again. What more, now that you have Miss Bai, you need to make sure that no one can threaten yours and her safety." Assistant Long said. Assistant Long sigh in relief. Seems like the young master is really worried about Bai Yi Yang safety since he is even willing to accept this. It's not like the old master never have the intention to help him but he will refuse every time. Sometimes he wish that his young master is more selfish and make use of the old man's worth.
