250 Chapter 250: Grocery shopping and Cooking together

Bai Yi Yang bought a lot of stuff from the market, since she promised to make delicious food for Ah Qi, she will do it. They even got a boy to deliver the stuff to the car.

"Good work." Dongfang Qi Ze gave a 100 yuan notes to the boy as a tip. The boy is obviously shocked, he was hesitant to take it. Seeing Bai Yi Yang smile and small nod, he finally take it.

"Thank you dage, xiao jiejie." The boy said and run happily with the 100 yuan banknotes.

After that, Dongfang Qi Ze drive to G Supermarket as Bai Yi Yang said. Dongfang Qi Ze look carefully around and his uncle seems to have done a good job, no wonder Bai Yi Yang like shopping for grocery here.

Bai Yi Yang drag him to the second floor first, to the Supermall to buy some stuff. Actually Bai Yi Yang noticed that Ah Qi don't have a pyjamas, she wanted to pick a very comfortable one for him.

"I don't usually wear one." Dongfang Qi Ze said when Bai Yi Yang told him about it.

"You don't like it?" Bai Yi Yang ask.

"Not that I don't like it. It's just that I don't usually wear pyjamas." Dongfang Qi Ze answer like this.

"Then, let's just buy one, a matching one." Bai Yi Yang said.

"Okay." Dongfang Qi Ze finally feel spirited and start choosing one pair with Bai Yi Yang. Even if he is not used to it, he is willing to wear one with Bai Yi Yang.

Bai Yi Yang giggle seeing his enthusiastic reaction, she also suggested that they buy a matching sweater. She never thought that she will do this kind of cheesy things but it sounds fun, just do it bah.

They finally decided on a navy blue satin pyjamas, it is short sleeve and short pants, should be very comfortable and suitable for the weather here. Bai Yi Yang is satisfied as they choose a matching sweater. They decided on a white and pink hoodie, Ah Qi looks great in white so Bai Yi Yang choose this.

They went to counter to pay and Dongfang Qi Ze finally get to pay something, he chat with Bai Yi Yang as the cashier settle the process. It didn't take long they quickly left after settling the payment.

"Ah, I never think that I will be able to touch a metallic black card in my life." The cashier gossip with the other one beside her. There are no customers at the counter now so they dare to chat.

"Metallic black card? You mean the handsome young man just now?" The other said. She noticed that man earlier, he seems to have come with his little girlfriend so she didn't dare to look any longer.

"En. They look like ordinary good looking couple, he even treat his girlfriend gently. Who knows that he own a metallic black card. Do we have someone like that in this town? I don't think so." The cashier girl said.

"His girlfriend is so lucky. Only if he is single, I will have a chance." The other girl sigh.

"No chance, the way I see it, he only have his little girlfriend in his eyes. You know, the type of handsome guy who is loyal only to one person. Well, just seeing them is already satisfying." The cashier said.

As for the two of them, they are already pushing the cart and buying grocery. Bai Yi Yang bring Ah Qi experience the life of common people, choosing their own grocery. She also recommend some snacks that she like.

"My siblings eat a lot, so I buy grocery every week." Bai Yi Yang said to Ah Qi.

"I am not even shocked, I will also eat a lot if I stay with you. What do you say, should I really stay with you?" Dongfang Qi Ze ask, seriously contemplating.

"Cannot. You need to return to your company." Bai Yi Yang said. Ah Qi have a career, she can't be selfish and drag him to stay at a rural area with her.

"Then you come and stay with me." Dongfang Qi Ze suggest.

"Cannot. I can't leave my siblings and our house." Bai Yi Yang still rejected. Well, what to do, they are meant to be a long distance relationship couple.

Dongfang Qi Ze once again pay for the grocery, while the cashier was processing the payment, he look a few more times at Dongfang Qi Ze. Well, he met a big shot today for the first time.

"Sir, you receipt and card." The cashier return it to Dongfang Qi Ze.

"Do you need help?" When they were pushing the cart, a man dressed in guard clothes approach them. Dongfang Qi Ze immediately recognise the sign, this man is one of their man.

"Thank you so much." Bai Yi Yang said gratefully.

"No problem little miss." The guard said and push the cart towards his young master car. Luckily Bai Yi Yang is too busy chatting with Ah Qi that she didn't realise how the guard easily found Ah Qi's car in the vast parking area easily. When they arrived at the car, the guard even help with putting the stuff into the car, how can they let their young master work ah.

"Here, you have worked hard." Dongfang Qi Ze gave a 100 yuan notes like the boy too.

"Thank you young master." The guard grinned happily as he took the banknotes. The amount is not important, what important is that this is the sign that he have done a good job.

"He is so weird, why did he call you young master? That sound a bit..ancient?" Bai Yi Yang comment when they enter the car.

"Ancient?" Dongfang Qi Ze who for the first time heard someone said that young master sounds ancient cannot register it in his brain. He have been called this since he was a child.

"En. Aren't people usually use terms as sir, mister, young man? Only those people with long history in their family still use this term." Bai Yi Yang said.

"En, I think you are right." Dongfang Qi Ze nod. His family have this long history, they still maintain some traditions, it was actually better now. Even if his grandfather is still alive, he become much more lenient because there are more younger generations now.

"Anyway, did you have fun today?" Bai Yi Yang ask.

"En, I like spending time with you the most." Dongfang Qi Ze smile and poke Bai Yi Yang's cheek.

"Can you not flirt for a second?" Bai Yi Yang glare at him.

"I am just telling the truth." Dongfang Qi Ze laugh lightly and caress her head.

On the way back, Bai Yi Yang crave some bubble tea so they stop by the only bubble tea shop in town. They even bought some for the other at home, even for TongTong. Bubble tea is one of TongTong must have every time they travel.

"TongTong love this?" Dongfang Qi Ze ask as he take a sip of Bai Yi Yang's bubble tea.

"En. Her body is small but you can't underestimate her appetite." Bai Yi Yang laugh.

"Surely. TongTong eat almost as much as Fang Fang." Dongfang Qi Ze also laugh. Well, even though that cat is weird and gave him this sort of uneasy feeling sometimes, one thing for sure is that Bai Yi Yang really loves that cat. So what else can he do other than trying to make TongTong like him too?

They also chat as they returned home that's why they only arrived home at around 11.00 am despite leaving at 7.00 am. Everyone helped to bring in the stuff inside when they arrived.

"Ah, jie, you are here too." Bai Yi Yang said when she saw Zhou Zhu Yao come out from the kitchen, her eyes immediately caught the eye catching Ah Qi who returned together with Bai Yi Yang.

"En. You are back." Zhou Zhu Yao said, her smile looks a bit unnatural. When she come over and heard about Ah Qi from the Bai siblings, she feel that she was left out. Bai Yi Yang never hide anything from her, but there is this one man staying at their house and they actually have known him about 2 months now but Bai Yi Yang never mention about him to her.

"Ah jie, this is Ah Qi. And Ah Qi, this is Zhu Yao jie that I talked about." Bai Yi Yang said.

"Hello Zhu Yao jie." Ah Qi smile amicably.

"Hello." Zhou Zhu Yao also smile back.

"I will go help bring in the stuff." Dongfang Qi Ze said to Bai Yi Yang and went to help Bai Yi Chen.

"Who the hell is this Ah Qi guy?! I thought Fang Fang and Xiao Mo was talking about one of your classmate." Zhou Zhu Yao whisper and pull Bai Yi Yang inside.

"Jie, calm down. I will tell you later, it's not polite to talk like this in front of him." Bai Yi Yang said.

"Fine." Zhou Zhu Yao took a deep breath and calm down.

So, while everyone was busy in the kitchen preparing lunch. Zhou Zhu Yao was interviewing Ah Qi, but when Ah Qi opens his mouth, despite being only 22 years old, Zhou Zhu Yao can't help but being amazed with his broad knowledge.

When she mentioned about her job, Ah Qi immediately got some topic to talk about, when she mentioned her company, Ah Qi immediately recognise it as one of the subsidiary of this certain giant company. With this kind of knowledge, he is more like an all rounder compared to someone who work with his language skill alone. Of course, Dongfang Qi Ze purposely lead the conversation this way, the whole conversation turns into talking about Zhou Zhu Yao instead.

When the lunch is cooking in the pot, Bai Yi Yang resume with making dim sums, steamed buns, cutting the meat into parts and marinating them, making meatballs, making fish fillet, clean the seafood and so on. All of this are sealed in vacuum plastic and they were put inside the freezer. Most of it are for Ah Qi since there is no need to marinate stuff in advance at home.

Today lunch are pan fried whole fish with soy sauce based sauce, the fish size is quite big, Bai Yi Yang bought two of it and the other was filleted. Next is peeled shrimp with black bean sauce, pork bone soup with carrot and yam, baked honey sriracha chicken wings, tomato and egg stir fry and lastly is a simple stir fry spinach.

They are a bit hungry today so they eat before 12.30 pm, Zhou Zhu Yao also joined them for lunch. Overall, the atmosphere is good, Zhou Zhu Yao seems used to Ah Qi's presence too. What more, Ah Qi is really kind like everyone is saying. Although he exude the air of a young master instead of a pitiful orphan like how Bai Yi Chen told her, she knows that he is at least kind toward the siblings.

After lunch, Bai Yi Yang continue making food. Other than the children, everyone stay to help. The Zhou family received their food many times, Zhou Zhu Yao coming over to help once in a while is natural, this is like Zhou Zhu Yao second house actually. Sometimes during the day when the other siblings went to school, she together with Xiao Mo and Fang Fang will stay here, anyway, she is doing her work from home so there is no much difference.

"Xiao Ling, you aren't going go nap?" Bai Yi Yang ask Bai Yi Ling who is helping with making the dim sums.

"No. We slept too much. We woke up after 9.00 am." Bai Yi Ling said.

"You woke up early every day, it's fine to lazy around during Sundays." Zhou Zhu Yao said.

"What did you eat for breakfast?" Bai Yi Yang ask again.

"Vegetables steamed buns, wonton soup and steamed spicy pork dumplings." Bai Yi Chen list down. Well, if Bai Yi Yang isn't the one making the food, their food is basically simple things like this. They will be able to eat well as long as Bai Yi Yang make food in advance.

"Yi Chen, you should learn how to cook more, girls nowadays like man who can cook." Zhou Zhu Yao tease. Bai Yi Chen level is actually not bad, he can cook rice, simple soup and his barbecue skill is top notch.

"En, I will learn a bit more." Bai Yi Chen said.

Dongfang Qi Ze look at the ugly looking dumplings that he made and try to hide it from others. Well, if what Zhou Zhu Yao said is right, then he should be the worst one here. He have heard about Zhou Zhu Yao's hellish cooking but at least she make neat and pretty dumplings. Maybe he should register for a cooking class when he return.

"It's different if someone marry our Yang Yang, if I were that person, I won't even touch the water in the kitchen since Yang Yang is an amazing chef already." Zhou Zhu Yao said. What to do, Bai Yi Yang cooking is too good, even if a man who is skilled with cooking marries her, they may feel intimidated and lose motivation to cook after tasting her cooking.

"No way, I will eat out everyday." Bai Yi Yang joke. Dongfang Qi Ze subconsciously nod and smile, well, this one he can do, if Bai Yi Yang don't want to cook, they can always eat out at good restaurants.

Bai Yi Yang almost burst out laughing seeing him like this, she quickly elbow him lightly and send a glare. What if they get caught ah?
