115 Chapter 115: A busy Saturday
Last night, Bai Yi Yang and Zhang Ming Ming stay up until 11.30 pm. The rain started before they went to bed.
This morning, she woke up at 6.30 am to make breakfast and woke up Bai Yi Ling to get ready. Bai Yi Yang cook fishball soup with seaweed, white rice and also spicy stir fried squid. This is like another meal. This is because they didn't eat much rice yesterday for dinner, she is afraid that her siblings won't be used to it and become hungry the whole day.

Then she paired it with a white ruffle sock and her peach colour sneaker. But her hair is still messy, she came to approach Bai Yi Yang with a comb and hair tie.

Bai Yi Yang send them to the gate before entering the house again. She enter the kitchen and check all the cabinets and fridge. Their meat supplies is also already depleted, tomorrow she will ask Bai Yi Chen to do some meat and seafood shopping in the morning. It will be better if there is butcher shop nearby.
"What is your plan today?" Bai Yi Yang asked the two children still munching on cookies in the kitchen. She concluded that these two kids really have a separate stomach for dessert after meal, they are always like this, if not cookies, then ice cream or fruits. They weren't able to move from being full but when someone mentioned a dessert, they will immediately become energetic again. She found this so funny.
"Ermm..then what are you doing today jie?" Bai Yi Mo asked back.
"Enter the wood. I need to cut up the logs from yesterday. I am just waiting for your ge to return home." Bai Yi Yang said.
"Since you won't be at home, then I will go to the village. Fang Fang, you going?" Bai Yi Mo asked.
"No, I want to watch TV today. I will stay at home to take care of the house." Bai Yi Fang said. Bai Yi Mo suddenly remember that they have a TV now, so he is a bit conflicted. However, he already promised the boys.

After that, Bai Yi Yang returned to the Main house with her siblings, she turned on the TV and teach Bai Yi Fang how to use it.

Bai Yi Fang still cannot read what the channel name are, but she can recognise number 1 to 10. It is easy as ling as she pressed it on the remote.

"Yes! Clever girl." Bai Yi Yang praise. Bai Yi Fang grinned and changed the channel again until deciding to watch this one shows of kid songs collection. Bai Yi Mo also joined to watch it and decided to go to the village at 8.00 am.
Bai Yi Yang let her be and went to change her clothes. Today is going to be a busy day, she must finished all the work today and bring the wood home so that she can start immediately.
Bai Yi Chen returns at 7.45 am with fresh bean sprout and tofu, he must have bought it from Aunt Mu shop. She immediately told him her plan whereas he will be in the farm today. After that he will go to meet Grandpa Zhou in the afternoon. Now people is busy at the field, because of the hot whether, they usually return home after 11.00 am.
The siblings then separated to do their respective work. Bai Yi Yang enter the wood after that and start working. She only stop working at 12.00 pm. Working all morning is really a hard work. Since Bai Yi Yang wanted to finish it faster, she only take very short breaks to drink water.

Bai Yi Yang quickly took a bath and changed into comfortable clothes then enters the kitchen to start cooking lunch. Today lunch is char siu or Chinese bbq pork. Yes, she is going to make another batch of buns later after lunch.
She preheat the oven on high heat and pop up the char siu into the oven, one batch will take about 20 minutes. Then she need to take it out to be coated with bbq sauce again before broiling each side again. Making it is actually a bit complicated, it need time to make it.
The next dish will be simple bean sprout and tofu that is brought from this morning. And lastly is seaweed egg drop soup with peeled prawn.
She finished her first batch of char siu and put it aside to cool down. Then she make the second batch and start making the two other dishes for lunch and also cook the rice.

By the time her siblings returned home at 12.43 pm, the lunch is ready. They only need to wash their hands and start eating.
"I like this dish so much. Only if it doesn't take long to be made, I want to eat it everyday." Bai Yi Fang said, she pick another piece of char siu into her mouth.
"En. I will learn to make this so jiejie has less trouble later." Bai Yi Ling said. She also like this, since it takes long time to cook, she will learn this. Where does her older sister have time to make it often, she is a busy person okay.
Bai Yi Yang laugh lightly, she said that she still have time if it is cooking for them. Bai Yi Ling can learn but she still have time to spare for now.
After lunch, the children returned to the Main house to wash up and take a nap while Bai Yi Yang stay at the kitchen with Bai Yi Chen to have a chat and make the buns.
"Grandpa Zhou agree but he will only take 2,000 yuan at most. He said that the work is half a day but it will be only watching around, not tiring at all." Bai Yi Chen said as he help cut the parchment paper.
"That's too little." Bai Yi Yang frown.
"Let see for the first month first. If there is really a lot of things to do, then we will talk with him again. I was going to insist but he said that he won't help if we continue being like that. Grandma Zhou also tell me that Grandpa Zhou agree to take money because he is saving our face." Bai Yi Chen explain.

Yesterday night, Zhang Yong send her a receipt. His worker picked quite a few different type of fruits, there are about 70-80 kg if everything ranging from durian, rambutan, salak or snakeskin fruit, papaya, mangosteen, jackfruit, lanzones and starfruit. Their agreed price was a big expensive, so Bai Yi Yang agree to cut off 5 yuan from it since Zhang Yong staff did all the picking. Zhang Yong wasn't going to agree since he said that he is already making profit from it, but how can Bai Yi Yang agree to that, she knows that workers need to be payed. While she is doing basically nothing, Zhang Yong staff need to do all of it. So they finally agree to 5 yuan less in the agreed price.
"That Zhang Yong..he didn't disturb you right?" Bai Yi Chen ask, looking at Bai Yi Yang carefully.
"Ge..are we going to talk about this again?" Bai Yi Yang laugh. She found it funny now that Bai Yi Chen still cannot move on with this matter with Zhang Yong. Bai Yi Chen fake a cough and didn't say anything anymore.
"Later I will help you bring back the finished woods home." Bai Yi Chen said.
"Okay ah. I am also almost done, maybe another 2 hours work or so." Bai Yi Yang said.
After that, they chat while making the buns. When they are done, it is already 2.15 pm. She made three different type of bun filling, char siu filling, vegetables and boiled eggs filling and lastly minced pork fillings.

Bai Yi Yang was busy until 4.30 pm and proceed to help Bai Yi Chen going back and forth to bring the wood home. Since she cannot showcase her strength, they took a while to finish all the work. Bai Yi Chen was wasted when they send the last batch, he can barely walk home from the vegetables field after sending the last batch home. They finished by 5.47 pm.
