'oh my god' said my inner voice.

This is it, this was finally it! After a year of trying and growing, it's finally here! I couldn't move from where I am, which is sitting in front of the computer, reaching for the doritos which was placed on my left side while staring at my computer screen.

The numbers went up, and up. I wanted to do a livestream but figured I need to take this in by myself. All the hard work I've put into my videos and such is finally gonna pay off. It's not much, but hitting 1 million was a really big deal for me.

Then there it was.

I got off my chair and jumped up and down with joy. 1 MILLION! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT? I got so excited I called my mom to let her know what happened.

"see, I told you you'd make it!" she exclaimed through the phone. "im just so proud of you!"

A smile made its way to my face."aww, thanks mom."

"no, thank you, honey. You've supported me in every way you can. Even though I didn't want you to." she chuckled.

"Yea, no, mom. You've done so much for me that it's time I do the same for you." I said, picking up another chip and stuffing it in my mouth.

Mom and I talked for an hour then it was time for me to film another video thanking all my fans that helped me get my goal.

"Hi! You guysss!" I didn't bother doing the intro. "I just wanted to thank you all so much! I never could have done this without yall. seriously, my life has changed since becoming an influencer."

I went on and on about how I'm grateful for their support and just ranting about things that happened in my life since becoming an influencer. Just the usual 'influencer thank yous' as I put it.

after uploading my thank you video, my manager, my editor and some of my friends congratulated me.

I head on Instagram to post again of how thankful I am and scrolled through the dms and replied to as many fans that I could. And this one dm stood out. His profile picture was good and kind of goofy. So I decided to Dm him back.

his message was : omg! hi! idk of you ever see this but congrats on hitting 1 mil! so proud of you...I've been a fan since day one lmao.

so i replied back by saying: aww, thank you! I like your profile pic btw!

him: No way...this isn't true...you. replied. to. me. But yeah! I hope you like it! I drew it myself :>

His pfp was a drawing of me, it looked so nice! I stalked on his profile a bit and he has 500k followers...He's good looking and he's got brand deals posted on his highlights so he's like an influencer too! He also had a link on his channel down on his bio. I figured I'll check later.

Jace Warren. An artist, an influencer, and an aspiring photographer. Oh and uh, a tiktoker...But oh well.

So he's like all those other people then...but my guts are telling me he's gonna be something. Wtf is wrong with my guts? What something is he gonna be?

I got so invested in some of his artworks that I needed him to paint me another one. I don't know why, but he's talented and also, I'd like to hold this conversation for a couple of hours.

hunter: I do like it! In fact, if you're up for it, I'd like to request another one! but of course I'll pay. haha.

jace: YOU WHAT? NO WAYYY! lmao you don't need to pay. I gotchu fam. The only form of payment i can accept is an autograph!

hunter: so it's settled then? I'll give you my number and just let me know when you finish it! then we can meet and arrange that payment xD

jace: aight, it's a deal! it was nice talking to you! but I have another gig to attend to. still can't believe you noticed me! have a good day Hunter!

I doubled tap his message and smiled. And would you look at that. He posted a small part of our convo in his story. I smiled even wider. Oh god. I hope he finishes that artwork sooner. I'd like to hang out with him.
