83 Chapter 83 - Revolution

After more than half an hour fighting against the defenders of the facility. They managed to reach the deepest floor where the vault containing the Wisdom Cubes were.

"We couldn't possibly carry everything with us." Warspite realized their predicament very soon and looked towards Queen Elizabeth.

"No! We can't possibly leave anyone behind. We have to save everyone." QE said.

"But, Your Majesty. We can't possibly carry all of them. Even more so when we still have to fight our way out." Warspite sternly reminded QE that it's impossible to save everyone and they have to make the choice of whom they will save.

"Hold on a moment. If You Majesty would put her trust in me. I can help transport them." Adam said as he swipe his hand over a few Cubes that vanished and reappeared on his other hand like magic trick except it isn't and it's his Inventory.

Without hesitation, Queen Elizabeth agreed. "Then I will entrust my people to your safekeeping for now." She said and nodded.

"Thank you, Your Majesty." Adam answered and instantly emptied the Vault before recommending they leave as soon as possible before more reinforcement could pour in.

"Let's go." Warspite also agreed and flanked QE as they retreated back the path they followed and regrouped with Belfast, Sheffield and Jeanne outside the vault.

Just as they tried to surface back, they found several surviving soldiers was setting explosives and when they noticed the intruders, they fled and triggered the explosives.

"No! The stairs!" Queen Elizabeth cried as their only way up was destroyed and they are basically now boxed in this underground.

"Perfect!" Someone said through the PA system of the facility. "Greetings, Prototypes. You should know me, Dr James. The Head of Project KANSEN UK Research Team."

"Naturally." Queen Elizabeth replied while Adam wondered how could the communication work when the PA system is a one way communication.

"I am thankful for you since you are like a father to us. The one that created our human body and gave us life." QE replied with a neutral tone.

"Then! Why? Why are you causing all this death!" Dr James' voice sounded cracked and desperate for an answer. "I created all of you to be the hope for humanity. To fight against our enemy, the Siren! So, tell me. Why are you doing this! What is your motive?"

Queen Elizabeth looks hurt from the words of Dr James. But it only appeared briefly on her face before it morphed into a firm and regal determination.

"Naturally, to fight Siren and to safeguard the future of humanity. However, before we could do that. I will have to weed out the rot and decay that festered in my glorious nation. It's the duty of the monarch to nurture and protect her nation against both the inside and the outside threat."

"You should have known about it, Dr James. The rot and decay that had rooted deeply into this nation. Surely you would understand the reason for our struggle." QE said with a desperate tone to bring Dr James to her side. However, her words were met with a long silence.

It was a deceptively long silence before everyone could hear Dr James' relieved sigh.

"So, it isn't your fault. It is the fault of humans… Of course… Of course I know. I wasn't blind to the Admiral's treatment of the Prototypes. However, just knowing that your act was driven out of duty to safeguard humanity leaves me with a lot of relief."

"Dr James! What are you doing! The Virus! No!" Sound of another person appeared on the other side before the sound of struggle and soon gunshots.

"Dr James! What have you done! Are you conspiring with the Prototypes!" An angry voice demanded an answer.

"Me? *Cough* My intention was one and only one. The survival of humanity's future."

*Bang*

The radio turned silent and nothing more than white noise left which filled the Royal Navy shipgirls with much grief.

"We must hurry to the surface." Adam interrupted their moment of silence when he received an update from Enterprise and New Jersey. "The other nations are aiding the British government. We have to put an end to the civil war immediately."

Queen Elizabeth wipes away the minuscule tear squeezed out from her eyes and nods wordlessly as Adam plans to teleport everyone to the surface as there is no other way up unless they are going to climb the wall.

"We are losing planes very fast!" Illustrious said as her eyes worriedly looked at the soldier on the ground fighting and exposed to the bullet and bombs shot by the jets in the sky.

The soldiers were barely holding on with a shield that Illustrious created and heal and buff from Unicorn that was also able to affect the human.

"Cleveland. San Diego! Forget about the tanks, focus on denying our enemies their Air Superiority." New Jersey ordered while her guns never once paused as she bombarded the enemies gun placement all across the city single-handedly to deny the enemy any hold on the ground and logistics.

"Roger!" Cleveland and San Diego retreated back from the frontline and focused fully on their AA batteries to shoot down the jets in the air with deadly accuracy.

"Enterprise, how things are on your side?"

'Doing good. But I would need help soon. The Vic- I mean France had sent out four fighter squadrons.' Enterprise replied

'Detecting another 14 squadrons on the way enroute to London.' Agent suddenly interrupted the encrypted channel.

'Agent, are there any of your outposts within range?' Adam asked.

'45 Missile silos within range.'

'That much?! Ah… can they shoot down planes?'

'A few of them are capable of intercepting planes.' Agent confirmed

'Then do that. If the EU or NATO send any more planes, hack them and stall their military.'

'As you wish, Master. But what about the Naval Base? The US Navy already sent a small fleet to capture it as we speak.'

'Let them try. I already have a contingency for that.'

Adam and the rest exit the facility by the end of the conversation.

"What is the situation, Enty?" Adam asked.

Enterprise was secretly inspecting Adam visually for any sign of injury and found none.

"We repelled the enemy's reinforcement successfully, Commander. We are awaiting our next order."

"Then let's regroup with the rest. We are going to end this war as soon as possible after we destroy the government and capture the Qu- False Queen and allow Queen Elizabeth to ascend the throne." Adam states their new objective.

"Indeed, I will definitely repay this help in the future, Commander of Eagle Union." Queen Elizabeth tilted her head down a little and acknowledged his contribution.

"No, I am not the Commander of Eagle Union. But the Commander of the Azur Lane Coalition. The coalition with the singular goal of uniting all KANSEN factions against our common enemy and protecting the future of humanity." Adam corrected Queen Elizabeth.

"Azur Lane coalition… I see. If that's the case. Then allow us, the Royal Navy, to be a part of this and I think you should be called as the Fleet Admiral rather than Commander since you are technically overseeing a grand fleet, thus the Admiral of the Fleet." Queen Elizabeth proudly declares and nods to herself satisfyingly. "After all, a noble Queen such as myself can't possibly lower my head to those of lower status. Naturally, if you are the Fleet Admiral, the problem would be solved."

Belfast somehow slips close to Adam, next to his head before she whispers.

"Her majesty is trying to appoint a Master as the Royal Navy Commander." Belfast explained.

"I see." Adam nodded and now it makes sense. Queen Elizabeth is also a tsundere. A minor flaw that most and certainly Adam didn't mind. Besides Jalter is also quite the tsundere.

"Hurk!" Adam felt a sudden jab to his left rib.

"I know you are saying something bad about me." Jalter appeared with a grumpy and pouty look on her face before she crossed her arms and turned her head away with a harrumph.

"Hmm? Do you prefer if he thinks about another woman instead?" Jeanne suddenly jumped on Jalter's back and gave her a hug.

"Haah!? Why should I care?" Jalter show lack of response which cause the smirk on Jeanne's face to deepen.

"Heeh… So you would mind if I-"

*Gulp*

Jeanne lifted both hands up in surrender when Jalter created her black spear in a split second and pointed at her throat.

"I don't care if he has a thousand wives or mistresses. He's a massive stud, not even me, Winter or Agent could satisfy him after taking turns for the entire night. But not you. He is mine and I refuse to let you have him." She growls like a territorial animal trying to protect her turf.

Meanwhile Adam facepalmed at the two, revealing information that they shouldn't to outsiders. He can see the Royal Navy ladies were trying to hide their blushing and some even faked a few coughs.

"Ladies. Please leave this kind of talk for when we are in private and let's focus on the mission first." Adam said dryly before teleporting everyone back to the center of the conflict in London.

Approximately five hours after the start of the battle. At 3:46 PM, 11th of March, the imperial palace of Britain royal court was breached and promptly seized by an unconventional military coup staged by the Royal Navy KANSEN.

Queen Elizabeth II was swiftly dethroned but unable to be executed as she already fled to Europe. Queen Elizabeth (KANSEN) ascended as the new Queen of Britain with overwhelming support of the nation while being denounced by other leaders that deny her legitimacy to the throne. However, that didn't matter as the new government quickly reformed the nation and steered towards the battle against Siren.

Besides that, the Commander of Eagle Union, Adam White is declared a traitor to humanity and a terrorist with the highest bounty on his head by the FBI and CIA.

Despite all the negativity, Adam declared to the world the establishment of Azur Lane and it's goal and wish to combat the Siren while stating his renegade is due to the inefficiency of the current government in dealing with the Siren threat.

Adam stated that to effectively fight against the Siren, a change must be done which is something the government isn't willing to do and sabotaging his effort by limiting the amount of KANSEN that is crucial to fight against the Siren.

Exactly two weeks after that announcement, Siren attacked the US. The battle shows exactly why KANSEN is crucial to fight the Siren as even the best fleet US have to offer is defeated and sunk by the Siren fodder fleet and resulting in numerous deaths.

The government tried to suppress the news but Adam made sure everyone and their mom and neighbor knew about this information. Due to that, more and more people learn about the Siren and Adam realized that the world government had downplayed the threat and suppressed information to maintain order and stability but this will always result in a catastrophic result when the threat finally explodes.

His action did cause unrest across the world once Adam revealed the truth behind the scene and what the government had done.

Media all over the world branded him as a terrorist and ordered people to not believe him but people aren't blind. The Navy who fought against the Siren and the deceased family outrage that their sons and daughters die an unnecessary death because of the government and they are protesting and revealing the truth to the world

When the people reached its tipping point, they revolted and overthrown their deceitful leaders.

(Sorry a little rushed in the end. This chapter had been sitting for almost three days and I just can't think of how to continue after the part Adam broke out of the facility with everyone so I just yolo the last segment.

Anyway, since plenty agree with Muv Luv. That's the next Contract World instead of Honkai. I think Adam isn't ready for Honkai yet. We're gonna take a short break from the AL world.)
