124 Chapter 124 - His Return

Upon his return, Adam found himself on the seat in the command room, overseeing everything.

"Master! You have finally returned." He heard a familiar voice which sounded like the melody he had longed for uncountable times and finally heard it.

"I did." He opened his arm with a warm smile as he hugged the figure that approached him.

"I have returned, Agent. Sorry, I have made you wait." He whispers and hugs his wife tightly as they spend minutes locked in a warm and tight hug.

Buried on his chest, Agent smiled and said. "No. No matter how long I have to wait. Knowing that you will be returned is enough." Before she buried herself deeper to hide her unsightly face unbefitting herself.

While Adam is caressing Agent's hairs, the door to the command room opens and a few others arrive noisily.

"Ara. It seems someone beat you to it. Someone had already claimed Master's first hug."

"Shaddap!" Jalter forcefully closed Jeanne's mouth with her hands while the other rushed to Adam.

Tina, Alices and Winter rush over to Adam as Agent already has her fill of Adanium and give the turn to the others as they envelop Adam with a group hug.

"Are you sure you want to keep shutting my mouth? You will be the last one soon." Jeanne teased Jalter even further as Jalter blushed and left for Adam immediately.

As for Siegfried, he joins Jeanne on the side and simply enjoys the heartwarming scene of a family reunion.

However the reunion was crashed by an unknown lady in a green kimono suddenly appearing.

"So this is the family you always talked about the entire time, Master." Kyoka Suigetsu appeared and directed her frown on his wives.

"Kyoka Suigetsu… we talked about this." Adam said with an exasperated sigh.

"Humph, fine. Regardless of who they are. A Zanpakuto bond to their wielder is much closer and intimate." She said as if she won a fight and left.

Now, this leaves Adam with a headache to explain the situation, especially Jalter who already stomped away while fuming in anger.

"Who is that?" They asked Adam.

Meanwhile Adam sighed and massaged his head as he saw this coming but there's nothing he could do about his overly loving and jealous Zanpakuto Spirit.

"It's… complicated." Adam decided to sit down and explain about the Bleach world, Zanpakuto and the Zanpakuto he possesses.

"Well, that's about it. She is the Zanpakuto Spirit which I possessed, named Kyoka Suigetsu. One of the best in terms of usefulness although not particularly strong as her power allows me to put anyone under Hypnosis where I can absolutely control a target's five senses and put them under illusion." He explained and included some feats he achieved using Kyoka Suigetsu.

"That is a rather terrifying ability, Master. To absolutely manipulate the five senses of an opponent." Siegfried showed a face of apprehension after he heard the feat Adam achieved with Kyoka Suigetsu.

"Well, that is the reason why I even put up with her and she is as you can see. Very possessive and easily jealous." Adam sighed again while rubbing the bridge of his nose.

Jeanne and Siegfried who sensed the tense atmosphere had gathered the unrelated people and left to give the husband and wives their privacy.

"If that is the case, I do not mind, Master. Before your wife, I am your maid. The benefit of pleasing your Zanpakuto Spirit outweighs my personal feelings." Agent said which gave Adam some relief from the emotions wrecking him inside. "Besides, I already knew that I can't keep master just between the three of us. Sooner or later, you will definitely attract other lovers. My heart is already prepared for that day to arrive."

"Me too, Adam. You are a great man with greater ambition. It is common to have women flocking under your wings. In fact, I find it weirder that it took this long to happen." Winter said with an understanding smile. But Adam quickly retorts her.

"No! I would never… Just the three of you is enough. I never wanted more than just the three of you." Adam said with an angered expression but soon calmed down after he realized it.

"See! That is exactly why we will not worry because no matter how many women you have, your love for me will never fade." Winter said encouragingly.

"I agree too, Master. It is foolish to sacrifice such a useful ability just because you are worried about our feelings. The two of us would be much happier if the Master is stronger."

"Indeed." Winter nodded as she understands that Adam's strength took precedence over her petty jealousy.

What use is there if Adam were to be defeated or worse, dies to his enemy because he isn't strong enough? What use is her love if the person she loved is dead? Useless. That's why she would rather share Adam with more women if that can make him stronger. Besides, what is the difference of adding another one when the three of them are already sharing the same man? No difference as regardless of how many women he has, his love for each of them will never fade. That is the kind of man Winter sees Adam as.

But, the real reason is that they are self aware. Adam grows stronger and stronger as time passes at speed they could only dream of catching on. Adam needed proper allies, companions and partners that could stand by his side on the battlefield which none of them could, no matter how frustratingly it felt. Just look at the way Adam treated them in battle. He is afraid to even allow them to participate in fear they might get hurt and they appreciate it as that is the proof of his love and affection. However, it also is frustrating to be treated as a fragile porcelain vase.

But, they can never say it openly in front of him. If they did, they fear Adam will close his heart away for their sake forever and never accept anyone else. So, they could only keep it amongst themselves.

"Hmn. Alright. Let's not talk about this anymore. I want today to be a happy day as our reunion after a year being away." Adam said with an exhausted look.

Agent and Winter nod as they agree with Adam about today should be a happy day as they celebrate his return.

"However, before that. I think it is prudent Master go and coax Jalter first. We will help too." Agent added a side note with a little mischievous grin.

"Right…" Adam made another long and tired sigh knowing today will be a long day for him as there are still the Arrancars, Quincies and Unohana to introduce.

Everyone later gathered in the cafeteria area where a few unknown new shipgirls can be seen having their lunch. Besides them is Adam's group and the newcomers group.

"They are the allies I managed to recruit from the previous world." Adam said before he introduced the Arrancars, Quincies and Unohana Retsu.

The Quincies are a little shocked to learn their status wasn't slaves or prisoners but actually allies.

After seeing and learning how mercilessly Adam was when he tore apart the Wandenreich from inside out, slaughtered every last Quincies of Wandenreich using Auswählen and also usurped and devoured the Quincy Emperor, Yhwach. They all expected they were spared simply because he saw them as trophies of sorts or maybe slaves except for Meninas.

To learn they were spared because he wanted allies to fight against a certain God, is rather surprising and shocking.

"Well, rather than talk. Why don't we eat and talk later?" Jeanne, helped by Seigfreid, pushed a trolley carrying piping hot food for their lunch meal.

"That's a good idea. Feel rather hungry already." Adam smiled and nodded before helping Jeanne and Siegfried to get the food on the magically widened table and distribute them.

They enjoyed a hearty meal and breaking the ice after that with an introduction over some desserts. Then Adam regales his journey in the other world, infiltrating Soul Society as a common Shinigami to unlocking his Zanpakuto which is pivotal to his plans on taking on Aizen Sosuke and the Wandenreich, which even the newcomers listen carefully to learn the truth of what Adam did.

"I never expected such a Zanpakuto could exist. A Zanpakuto that usurps the power of others." Unohana commented with genuine amazement.

"Me too." Adam admitted. "I already knew what my Zanpakuto could be to some extent due to my Semblance. But I never expected it would be like that."

"Also, can you help me unlock this Aura? I am very curious about it and wanted to test some things with it." Unohana added.

"Sure." Adam agrees to help her unlock Aura later as she now has a physical body as all the other Spiritual Beings like the Arrancar which he created using a specialized Gigai creation method that creates a permanent version of a physical body instead of disposable.

After the lunch, he dismissed the newcomers to go and select a room of their own and find activities they would like to do. Meanwhile Adam told his companions to stay behind because he had a surprise for them.

He brought them to the public training facility and announced he will bestow upon them all power using a method he acquired from another world.

"You can make us stronger?" Jalter were the first to asked out of curiosity and eagerness because she was never satisfied with how her strength will never raise even with training because she is a Servant which is limited by the parameters assigned to her Saint Graph.

"Should be. It works by giving the target a small portion of my soul to bestow power. It's the power of Quincies." Adam explained before doing some demonstration.

He snapped his finger and a dozen blue bows appeared behind him and knocked blue energy arrows each before they fired at the target in the distance. Then he created a sword made of blue energy and performed some sword techniques. And finally, he created a sniper rifle using the same energy and shot the target a few times.

"As you all can see, it is quite a versatile power. Suitable for all of you." Adam said with a smile.

Adam isn't oblivious to the fact his companions are growing weaker and unable to keep up with him. It started with Agent after he arrived at the Azur Lane world as she became limited to working in the background instead of fighting on the frontline because her strength is insufficient. Then slowly Winter, Alices and Tina also become the same and only the Servants are still capable of keeping up with him.

While Tina and Alices is happy and eager to get stronger. Someone who is more knowledgeable like the Servants questioned Adam's decision.

"But it still costs Master's soul. No matter how small it is, are you sure it is really alright to do?" Jeanne raised the question which made others realize it.

"Yes." Adam replied confidently to reassure everyone. "It's nothing a little rest cannot fix. I may temporarily be weakened but the benefits outweigh the loss."

"To have power weakened by 7.23869% for just 99 days in exchange for giving everyone a chance to be as strong as a top tier Servant is just a small and worthwhile sacrifice. Also, yes. If you all master this Quincy power, your strength can be comparable and be even greater than a top tier Servant. Especially against our future enemy." Adam explained solemnly.

The Reishi Subjugation power which is the ultimate utility of the Quincy basic skill, Reishi Manipulation, Sklaverei is very powerful that allows one to essentially drain energy from surrounding limitlessly to fight while in active Vollstandig transformation.

Mana or Ki or Chakra or even Divine power all contain spiritual energy to some percentage. If the Spiritual Energy is forcibly taken away, whatever it is trying to form will break down just like a building missing a few foundation pillars supporting it.

The Sklaverei make Quincy essentially a universal counter or even bane to all manner of magic or supernatural power that uses Spiritual energy in one way or another.

Seeing no other way to discourage and change Adam's decision since he already made his mind. They could only accept the Shrift he would bestow to each of them and promised to use it to the best of their ability so as to not waste Adam's sacrifice.

(Alright, I didn't actually return for real. I will write once in a while to not get rusty. But I will not start the next arc until I am really sure I can write instead of doing it half-assedly. For now, I will just write mostly about Adam's current companions and the new companions. Also him giving his old companions power up so they will not fade into the background as useless characters.)
