"We'll be back around dinner!" Andrew says to his mother, as he, May and Sarah exit the camper and walk off towards the pool.

"Don't be late!" Gabrielle says back.

"I'll eat everything up if you aren't here!" Ben yells at them, but they are already way ahead.

"He's got some good friends, hasn't he?" Ben says and he smiles.

"Yes." Gabrielle responds. "I wasn't as lucky back in high school."

The three of them walk down the road. Andrew's in the centre, with May left of him and Sarah right of him. The park is simple, with pine trees lined up on both sides of the road, with paths leading up to camper places and bungalows. The main road is made of concrete, while the smaller ones are gravel roads.

They take a turn to the right, and walk straight ahead for a short while before arriving at the pool. Their swimsuits are already under their clothes, so they undress their shirts and shorts and dump them together with their bags in a locker.

"I'll keep the band around my arm." May says.

"You would never lose it, so that's fine by me." Andrew says.

"Wow, you know me well." May acts surprised.

May's swimsuit consists of a simple turquoise top and bottom. It's not revealing in the slightest, but it accents her body and compliments it excellently. Sarah is wearing a black one-piece swimsuit. It's a bit loosely, because of how short she is. Andrew is wearing a set of blue shorts, with a white elastic band across the top. It's ordinary, but it fits well.

[They're both pretty h... er… beautiful. Beautiful. You don't think like that anymore, Andrew. You've seen them in swimsuits before.]

"You're staring." May says.

"Huh? Oh, I'm sorry!" Andrew is startled. May giggles at his response, and even Sarah gives a slight smile.

"It's fine, don't worry about it." May says cheerfully. "It means that you think we look nice, which is a compliment to me."

Sarah agrees with May by nodding.

"Or, were you thinking something else?" May asks sadistically.

"No, no! I swear I wasn't!" Andrew quickly replies.

May laughs. Sarah also chuckles.

"Let's just dive in the pool shall we?" Andrew says dejectedly. May laughs again.

"Yeah, let's go." She says. They proceed to jump into the largest pool.

For the next few hours, they swim around in all the pools, take every slide except the tallest and steepest one, relax in the bubble bath and have a few contests on different things, like holding their breath and swimming to the other side.

May arrives last on the other side of the pool, panting.

"You two are… way too fast." She says. "I don't think I'll ever win to be honest."

"Well, to be fair I was in the swim team for a few years." Andrew responds. "And Sarah, she's basically good at anything, so you shouldn't feel bad if you lose to her."

Sarah gets embarrassed and evades her eyes, but she smiles as well.

"I know." Sarah says, still panting. "Let's get out and have a drink, shall we?"

Andrew laughs and gets out of the pool. He helps Sarah and May up the stairs.

They walk over to the bar and order drinks, water, Cola and Sprite, for Andrew, May and Sarah respectively.

"Just water again?" May says, as they're walking to a table. "You got to treat yourself sometimes, Andrew. I haven't even seen you drink lemonade at all today or yesterday."

"Hey you know how much sugar is in those soda's right? And lemonade too, it's not healthy." Andrew responds.

"You're thinking about that?" May says surprised. "You don't need to worry about that stuff. As a guy, everything will just go to muscle anyway."

Andrew looks at May belly.

"Well, maybe you shou-"

"Don't, finish that sentence." May interrupts him, angrily. "And here I thought you said you liked it."

"Well, I…" Andrew tries to respond.

"Hmm, maybe I should go and lose some weight then." May says.

"No, fine I get it, sorry. I'll get some lemonade tonight if that makes you happy." He states.

May smiles, and takes another sip from her Cola. Andrew continues on his water, but looks away, embarrassed. After they're done, they take a slide and go back into the pool.

Sarah taps Andrew's shoulder.

"What's up?" Andrew responds as he turns to her. She points at the clock. It's already half past five.

"Oh, yeah we should get out for today." Andrew says. "Thanks for reminding me, I hadn't kept track of the time at all."

"We can keep swimming for fifteen more minutes, it's only maybe a ten minute walk at most." May says.

"No, we should get out now. Dinner starts at six, and knowing my mom that means we have to be there at five-fifty." Andrew states.

"If you say so." May says. She takes the ladder and gets out of the pool. Andrew follows her, and helps Sarah up afterwards. They go the changing rooms and change to their normal clothes. They exit the building at the same gate where they entered it.

"That was fun!" May exclaims as she stretches her arms up into the air.

"Yeah!" Andrew agrees. Sarah nods as well.

"I'm glad I came with you." May says. "Come here." She wraps his arms around Andrew to give him a hug, and Andrew hugs her back. She also kisses him on the cheek. Andrew gives a smile as response.

"And I'm glad you're with us too." She walks up to Sarah and gives her a hug as well. Sarah is surprised, but slowly wraps her arms around May, and returns the hug. They let go.

"I'm glad I invited you two, it's way more fun together." Andrew says. May smiles and Sarah nods again.

Unexpectedly, Andrew wraps his arms around Sarah and gives her a hug too. Sarah is startled, and isn't able to wrap her arms around him. Her face turns red and she evades her eyes. Andrew lets her go and notices her face.

"Oh! Sorry I did that so suddenly." He quickly says. "If you don't like it I won't do it again."

"No." Sarah says. "It's f-fine. I… l-l-liked… it." She stutters as she's speaking.

"Oh, okay then. But next time, I'll tell you beforehand." Andrew replies with a smile.

Sarah nods, and the embarrassment showing on her face disappears.

At five-fifty, they arrive at the caravan. Ben is laying the table and notices them walking up the slim gravel path.

"Just in time." He says. "We were just gonna to start with dinner."

"I don't know what time zone you're living in, but we're ten minutes early on my watch." Andrew says. "We're not just in time, we're greatly on time."

"But you're not even wearing a watch." Ben says.

Andrew gives him a displeasing smile. Ben laughs at his response.

"Haha, okay, I've joked enough." Ben says. "Let's go inside and get our plates, your mom made pasta!"

They go inside the camper and take a plate with pasta, macaroni pasta, and tomato sauce. The six of them settle down around the table outside.

While they have dinner, Andrew and May tell everyone about their time at the pool. Connor tells them about the playground as well, and Gabrielle explains how all the shops feel different from the ones at home. After dinner, the do the dishes, put on their pyjamas and play some games together.

Andrew lets out a sigh. "I'm tired." He follows it up with. May and Sarah both yawn.

"The others are already sleeping." May adds. "We should too."

May is laying on Andrew's right shoulder. It's almost eleven and it's already getting colder outside. Sarah is sitting to the left of Andrew. She rests her head on Andrew's other shoulder.

"Looks like you're tired as well." Andrew replies to her resting on him.

"Hmm." Sarah confirms. "May." She says.

"What?" May says drowsily.

"Is it… a problem for you?" Sarah asks her.

"Hmm?" May responds. "Oh, laying on his shoulder. It's fine, as long as you…" She yawns. "…don't start kissing him or anything."

"Hmm." Sarah answers.

[This is comforting. I shouldn't worry about then secretly plotting anything. I worry too much about that. This is completely counteracting those thoughts.]

They sit there for almost fifteen minutes, in silence, before Andrew interrupts that silence.

"Well, we should go to bed, we'll just get sick if we stay outside at night."

"I could stay like this forever." May says. "But, I wouldn't want to get sick." She gets up from his shoulder. "Sarah we're going inside."

Sarah doesn't respond. She's already sleeping. Andrew smiles and gives her another hug.

[I'm glad I decided to talk to her that day. She probably wouldn't have any other friends if I didn't, knowing the people in my class.]

Andrew gets up while holding Sarah's head in place. He picks her up like a baby, putting his left arm on her back and his right arm under her legs. She wraps her arms around him.

"Luckily she's light." May says quietly.

"I'm not that weak." Andrew responds, also quietly.

They go inside, and Andrew puts Sarah in her bed, under the covers.

"Goodnight." May says, and she gives Andrew a kiss on the lips. Andrew smiles.

"Goodnight."

May climbs the ladder to the top bed, above Sarah, and Andrew lays down on his air mattress. He is tired, and he quickly falls asleep.
