Chapter 14 - This is a wolf also a tiger. a Wolger?

With a sudden roar, the Flazer is now in front of me its mouth open and fangs covered in dark red fire. A Fire Fang attack.

'This guy is quick!'

I mentally exclaimed dodging to the side. The wolf-like monster jumping passed me and towards the edge of the summoning circle. The summoning circle seals both of us inside, preventing the summoned creature from moving outside the circle. I can escape but that means I failed the contract and the summoned creature gets sent back, I will not be able to summon it again.

It noticed the magic barrier and instead of crashing into it used the barrier as a boost and did a wall bounce and back towards me. Its horns sparkling with dark lightning.

"Dodging will not help you!"

It growled at me the dark lightning on its horn firing towards me in a cone shape. An AOE attack.

"Protect!"

Raising my left hand I have my palm facing the attack and created a transparent blue barrier in a shape half-sphere a few inches away from me. The attack landing into my shield, the lightning dispersed but the dark tint remained.

"It is burning the barrier?!"

The dark tint was acting like an acidic substance eating at the spell itself.

'I hope this is not some Amaterasu flame BS thing.'

Using my other arm I pushed more mana into the shield and caused it to fly forwards.

"Shockwave!"

Flazer still in the air saw my attack coming and was unable to dodge. It got pushed back and landed on the floor.

"Grrrr, you have some skill in you."

It grunted, lowering its body preparing for another attack. The hair covering its body was raised, its horn glowing a dark light.

"Awoooo!"

It howled and the sky suddenly got dark, a large lightning bolt came down from high up and hit the horn. The moment the blue lightning hit the dark horn a large shadow of a Wolf with dragon wings and twin demon-like horns appeared it fused with the Flazer.

The actual Flazer grew larger, its horns bigger and sharper, and now sports a small Dragon Wings on its back, the monster was covered in an aura of Darkness.

"Abyss Dragon-Wolf Form. You better hope you can survive this."

It jumped high up in the air and is now floating in places its wings spread out controlling its flight. The horn on its head again is glowing with power, the dark lightning became purple.

"Abyss Judgement!"

It was like heaven itself opened its doors and a large bolt of purple lightning came crashing down towards me. The pressure that the attack emitted was insane.

Like a thunderclap, the attack hit its target almost instantly...

*Boom!*

A large Explosion, the attack zone was covered in dust...

The Flazer still in the air suddenly felt its body being pulled towards the ground, the force of the pull was stronger than it thought forcing it to crouch on the floor.

"Hoh, you survived that. I am impressed."

The Flazer was looking at the blade placed on its neck, its body was shaking as if trying to escape from a body bind. Which it was.

"Shadow Imitation Success. Now does this mean I pass your test?"

I asked it, sword not moving an inch from its neck. It sighed and nodded, its form becoming smaller and its wings losing its size. I did not notice it before but it has wings on its back, I thought it was just fur standing up.

Seeing it lose the will to fight I removed the Darkness Element Spell and returned my sword into its sheath.

With the contract now over and done with having named the Flazer, Thor. I had a thought lingering in my head, the way I fought just now was mostly magic based. I had a sword all along why the heck did I not use it?

Later...

I am currently doing repair work on the various stores and house windows. Thor's Abyss Judgement attack did damage the windows with the sound wave. My barrier only works on a set range and the lightning attack came from high up in the atmosphere.

"Sorry about this Master"

"It's fine, it's fine."

Thor was beside me carrying a bag of nails on its mouth. Its form has shrunk into that of a puppy and now closely resembles a Houndor from pokemon. It still retains the color scheme it had which was red and orange.

"Oi, Markus you still need to help fix the other houses."

A town guard of Leaflet told me as he was passing by, the people in town were quick to forgive me since the Princess was present but I still felt guilty and decided to offer my services to help.

'This sucks!'
