SOUL ZEN

------------------

Kadori's eyes glanced through the system panel until he finally saw the description tab, and clicked on it.

The Soul Zen is the Zen obtained from Harbingers Of Souls. Just like normal beast's Zen, a Soul Zen could be used in making weapons and armor.

The only difference between a Soul Zen and Beast Energy Zen was the Soul Zen could be used to craft a complete Soul armor and also a Soul weapon. While a Beast Zen could only be used to craft one at a time.

Kadori saw this as a good opportunity for him. If he could make the complete battle armor and weapon, it would be a huge advantage for him.

'Now how do I craft this exactly? Do I visit a crafter's shop, or is there a way to make it with the system?' Kadori pondered with his hand rubbing his chin as he examined the holographic screen in front of him.

While thinking about it, the window screen in front of him changed to a whole new one.

Kadori glanced through the screen until he caught a glimpse of the [Shop] tab.

'Shop, eh?' Kadori mused. 'Maybe I could buy some really cool stuff there.' Kadori clicked on it and the panel changed once more to a whole new one.

Kadori glanced at the screen with his mouth wide open. It felt like he was staring at an online marketing app. Lots of high-grade weapons with a price in front of them could be seen here and there.

There were blades of different sizes and lengths with high and specific amounts of Beast Energy Zen to buy them, there were shields, gauntlets, chest piece armors, full body armors, spears, and so on.

Kadori gulped as he glanced at the Ranks of the weapons and their prices.

Most weapons there are above Knight Ranks and are in the god Rank, and to acquire them costs at least 15 god Energy Zen. Catching a glimpse of the price now made Kadori wonder if there truly was a person powerful enough to kill 15 god-ranked beasts.

Kadori saw the way a Diamond ranked user like Geralt struggled against a Knight ranked beast. What if it was a single god rank?

Examining the panel, Kadori's eyes finally saw what he was searching for.

'Create your own armor.' Kadori mused, clicking on the tab.

The once shopping platform now changed to what looked like an Avatar design in a video game.

Kadori's eyes glanced through the panel with a look of awe and contemplation on how it actually works.

[WELCOME TO THE WEAPON CRAFTING PANEL, PLAYER]

[WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO CREATE?]

A familiar mechanical voice sounded in Kadori's head when he was busy trying to figure out how it works.

'I would like to create a weapon and armor.' Kadori said internally.

[PLEASE SELECT THE ENERGY ZEN YOU WOULD LIKE TO CREATE THE WEAPON OUT OF, AND ALSO STATE THE EXACT WEAPON YOU WOULD LIKE TO CREATE]

After saying those words, different sets of Energy Zen that Kadori gathered in the past appeared right in front of him.

The two Grandmasters Energy Zen he got from the desert, the Knight Beast Energy Zen from earlier, and the Soul Zen that was gotten from the box.

Kadori clicked on the Soul Zen and the rest of the Energy Zen returned back to his Arsenal.

[A SOUL ZEN CAN BE USED TO CRAFT A FULL BODY SOUL ARMOR AND A SOUL BLADE.]

[WOULD YOU LIKE TO BEGIN THE CRAFTING?] [YES] [NO]

Kadori rubbed his chin in contemplation after hearing the mechanical voice. He pondered on whether or not he should actually use such a rare object so soon, or still keep it for rainy days.

But the rainy days were already now.

Kadori needed to get as strong as soon as possible to return back to earth, vanquish every single infected creature, and restore earth to her former glory.

[YES]

After selecting yes, the Soul Zen began to melt to powder and began to evaporate until there was nothing there again.

After confirming the progress, Kadori dismissed the system and shut his eyes to sleep.

Back in the dark room, the Casket finally opened and dust filled the place with lots of black huge scorpions crawling out of it.

What looked like a man began to stand up slowly from the dark creepy casket.

His naked muscular body covered with black scorpions and lots of strange tattoos that glowed red in the darkness.

The man had the features of someone in his early twenties, but his face looked nothing younger than a 17-year-old boy.

Sporting long black hair, a muscular body that was covered in red glowing tattoos, and a pale white skin. The man is known as Uther Thane.

'Where am I?' Uther mused, glancing around the strange area he found himself in.

By the looks on his face, this wasn't where he was expecting to wake up in.

'How did I get here?' Uther pondered in bewilderment while examining the area. He raised his leg up and stepped out of the coffin to scan the area well.

The last thing he remembered was his master extracting his Soul Zen from his body and placing him to sleep back in his kingdom. How then was he here?

"Hello, there." Uther said, picking up a small glowing crystal inside the coffin and raised it up to take a closer look.

"Why would master choose to put my Soul Zen beside my body after extracting it?" Uther shook his head before running his hand inside his chest and placing the Soul Zen inside.

Once the Soul Zen was inserted, Uther felt a surge of power flowing through his body and he slowly began to regain his energy.

"Ah... It's been a while since I felt that way." Uther tilted his head sideways and stretched his body. "Come to think of it, why am I awake?"

The only way for a Harbinger of Soul to live even after the Soul Zen was removed was by feeding on the blood of his fellow Harbinger.

"Who would have been stupid enough to revive me?" Uther pondered with an evil smirk.
