This was to be the Grand tour of Her imperial Majesty, she would be giving a speech then taking off in the Mighty Airship "Russian Embrace".
And what a airship it is 300 yards long and 200 tall, able to travel without refueling for a month in good conditions and travel around a thousand miles a day.
Her Naval guns are six 18 inch gun, twelve 6 inch, twenty four 1 inch, and one hundred and sixty two AA guns. Her bombing load is I the multiple tons range, and lastly a squadron on helicopters for landing in dangerous areas.
The crew alone is 3,000 men and women to keep her basic systems running smoothly and at efficiently, in addition to this she is going to be guarded by 500 soldiers with the Czarina safe in foreign lands.

Peter Rasputin was having the best day ever, first his day had the day off in what felt like forever and his family was in the Imperial Palace!!
He had been here before when construction was going on, so he couldn't explore but now he was able to see so much of the place. His Aunty Anna had even given a special pin that told the guards he was aloud to explore it was of the Imperial Aquila or something.
That's why he was running through the long and twisting halls of the palace, totally not running from his mom who was being boring.
"PETER!!" Uh oh his mom sounded mad now, ducking into one of the side rooms, hiding behind one of the curtains he saw the massive crowd of people in the courtyard waiting to hear his Aunt talk.
Personally he didn't get it, while he loved his aunt a lot she was really boring and a nerd like his brother Mikhail, But she always had fun toys and stories to tell them so that made her kind of cool. [Think the Vatican when the Pope Speaks]
*Click* he heard the door to the room open and he didn't move and inch as he heard his aunt start to talk.
"Olena, are you sure you want to join me out there once we announce ourselves their is no going back. We will be the most hated couple in all of world, conservatives will want to hang and burn our bodies.
I know the people will be confused and concerned but will come to accept us." He had only known his aunt for about 5 years now but he had never heard her scared before, peaking out from behind the curtain he saw his aunt in the arms of the biggest woman he had ever seen before, her arms were bigger than his dads!
Olena he guessed pulled his aunt into a very tight hug "I do not care Anastasia I have been discriminated against my entire life, I worked in a Steel mill which roughest of the roughest men in the world. But here in the East I'm just another scientist and researcher, so may Perun can smite them down himself for all I care." She then lifted his aunts chin and kissed her, involuntarily he let out a gasp.
The two women quickly turned to the curtain, his aunt then looked panicked for a moment and let out a sigh.
"Peter...come out here please." Peter slowly made his way out of the curtains and kept his head down. "Peter, are you hiding from your mother again?" He just nodded and kept his eyes down away from his aunt.
His aunt then just sighed, "Well I may as well introduce you, Peter this is my Girlfriend Olena will you say hi for me." His aunt gave him an encouraging look and he looked at the woman.
"Hi I'm Peter Rasputin." He said in a very quiet voice, the big woman looked him up and own and spoke in her thick accent "Hello Petter I'm Olena Volodymyrivna the head researcher of the submarine division of the navy."
Peter thought to himself "Oh she is a nerd like Aunt Ana," the two women then started to laugh as he realized he said that out loud.
"That right Peter she is a nerd like me, now I am going to ask you to keep a very big secret for at least a little while as it will be a surprise for everyone. You see I love Olena very much and want to marry Olena, but a lot of people will not like so we have to be safe."
Peter looked at his aunts(?) as the gears slowly grind and said "That's dumb, but I'll keep your secret Aunty Ana." His aunt them pulled him into a hug, "Thank you Peter, now let's get going I can be late for my own speech."

Anastasia held her now fiancé hand as they reached the doors of the balcony, inside the room was part of the Royal Filming crew recording for historical documentaries later.
Anastasia then turned to her future wife and held her hands, the people in the room went silent and had the cameras focused on them.
"Are you a hundred percent sure Olena we can wait till after the tour to announce it, because…" Olena rolled her eye and kissed Anastasia, the Crees eyes went wide but kept recording as the historic value just quadrupled suddenly.
"Knock them dead honey." Ana then blinked a couple of times, straighter her dress and pushed open the doors to the balcony.
The wave of noise was completely incomprehensible all that could be hear and felt was the wave of absolute joy the crowd felt seeing the Czarina.
Ana waved at the crowd and let them calm for a moment, she then moved to the microphone and Looked out at the crowd. The estimate was 10,000 people were In the square alone not including those in the streets and buildings in the area, or those listening on the radio.

Ana then raised her hand for silence and the crowd slowly turned to a murmur.
"Good morning everyone, I am very happy to announce the start of the Grand Tour of Imperial Russia!" The crowd then roared with applause and cheers once again. "So, much has changed in the past six years since I took the throne, it has not been easy by any means. As I had never expected to take the throne, but since I have taken it I have spent every waking moment trying to secure our future from those who would destroy our way of life.
Over the last six years, we have accomplished so much: Over 10,000 miles of Highways, 100,000 miles of rail line, 1,000,000 miles of telegraph and telephone line, these accomplishments have connected our nations like never before. We produce over 10 million tons of steel, and over 50, million tools items in that time as well.
These accomplishments could have never occurred without the help and guidance of our Ministers of Industry Andryukhin Tsezar.
We have not only expanded our industry but our culture as well, we are the only nation in the world which has guaranteed and enforced the protection of native peoples.

The crowd once again roared with cheers, they all had knew that the standard of living had only been increasing over the past six years, hell even the poorest families had three meals a days and a radio.

Ana looked out on to the crowd, the European news agencies were in absolute shock at what Ana just said while the Asians and native people simply began to cheer.
"LONG LIVE THE QUEEN, LONG LIVE THE QUEEN, LONG LIVE THE QUEEN" and the rest of the crowd would eventually join in as the fleeing of absolute excitement spread through them.
Olena, then turned to her future wife "See. I told you it would work out." With a slight laugh.
Ana just rolled her eyes and kissed her future wife on the cheek.
[Unknown to the two woman, this announcement would be felt for generations to come. With this Imperial Russia would be the first "Western" nations to recognize the legitimacy of gay marriage.
They would Aldo's be the first to recognize the right and protect the right of the LGBTQ+ community and offer refuge status to anyone in the world for it.
This would gain the nation a lot of hate and anger by the western world for many years to come, but Russia would gain another untapped group of people with expertise just waiting to be used]

So, I'll get ahead of this now the gays. Gay marriage and gay people have been around of millions of years and apart of history for just as long.
In Europe gay people were extremely common and normal till Christianity came into power there, and in Asia multiple documentation's of gay Samurai exist.
Also Ana was once a guy so they are also technically trans so yeah.
Outside of the story I am a huge supporter of LGBTQ+ rights, so I want to encourage equality and respect no matter what.
Plus this also is to piss off the Russias who hate anything to do with the LGBTQ community, also just a plan fuck Russia.
