"Hmmm Mr Turner. I could see your eyes perfectly following my movements which shows you have good analyzing ability. But your response was really bad.

First of all , why did you start bringing up your hands to block the punch ? Didn't I tell you to move your head if I punch at your head ?"

Turner was confused.

Ashley understood this. "Oh Mr Turner you see, if I punch your face , it would be faster for you to move your head to dodge it than to use your arms to block it.

You should always dodge first and not block.

Reason 1 – you will require less time to move your head. Thus this increases your probability to escape my attack.

Reason 2 – you don't know my strength. What if you try to block with your hands and my strength is so high that it breaks your arms ? Then you would not be able to fight any longer no ?"

Turner thought about all this"Hmmm… Yes teacher I'll remember this next time."

Ashley smiled. "Your second mistake. You closed your eyes before the punch came. It is true that its basic human reflex to do that. But we have to train you , to not do that. If in the middle of a battle you close your eyes, You'll be dead and wont open them ever again.Do you understand ?"

"Yes teacher."

"Ok so today's let's just work on this"

After saying that Ashley immediately rushed towards Turner and punched again.

Again his thought acceleration showed him the punch in slow motion. By looking at the direction of the punch, he calculated in his mind that he would have to move his head 5cm to the right. But again his reflexes took over him.

His eyes closed and his hands started moving up.

Ashley's punch again stopped. Turner opened his eyes.

Ashley gave a punch on top of Turner's head.

"Ouch… What was that for?" Turner said while rubbing his head to reduce the pain.

"Again you closed your eyes and moved your hands up. I told you not to do that."

"But … but…. It is just reflex. It will take time no ?" Turner said while showing his puppy eyes to Ashley.

"Hmmm… Well it is true that it will take time…. Oh I know." Ashley said with a smile.

She then took out rope from her spatial ring.

"...…Teacher Ashley what is that for ?" Turner said with a poker face.

"Ha ha. It is to speed up the process of you controlling your reflexes."

Ashley quickly tied the rope around Turner.

"There. Now your hands are tied so you wont be able to bring them up. I'll constantly punch at you and stop it right before hitting you. If you close your eyes you'll get a smack on the top of your head. Yup, this is the fastest way to help you overcome your reflexes."

Turner's hands started getting sweaty. Sadistic maniac…..

"ready ? Here I come."

Turner lost count after 10 smacks to his head. But neither did his eyes remained open ,nor the smacks stopped.

"Huh what happened ? Giving up so soon ?" Ashley facial expression had become like a child who was about to cry because you took away his candy.

Well the child here was definitely Ashley and the candy was the beating…..training she was giving to Turner.

Talent of perfect control – This talent helped Turner control not only his body movements but his reflexes.

By controlling his reflexes , he would ensure that it doesnt backfire on him like it was happening right now. Yes from now on, if Ashley punched at him, his eyes wont get closed and his hands too wont move up simply because he gained the ability to control them.

By perfectly controlling his body, he would be able to control his speed, distance travelled etc as he wants to. To illustrate, suppose Turner saw Ashley punch towards him and he calculated that he would need to move his head 5 cm to the right to dodge it.

But because humans lack full control over their bodies ,they would tend to either use too much force , i.e, in this case Turner may move it by 9-10 cm or very less force, ie , in this case , Turner would move it by 2-3 cm.

With a lot of practice he may better his control over his body and would maybe move his head 4cm or 6cm to the right but still not the exact 5.

Ashley was able to stop her punch right before Turner's face because she also has very good control over her movements. This happens after a lot of practice in fighting and with experience. But because Turner made this talent he doesn't need to gain this experience anymore.

Turner took deep breaths.

"Yes teacher, come at me."

Ashley narrowed her eyes and dashed to Turner while her hand got into a punching motion

She is aiming to my right cheek, need to move my head about 3 cm to the left.

Turner's eyes didn't close this time and his head also started moving to the left at the correct time. The punch stopped right next to his face.

Ashley smiled, "Oh my Mr Turner, you dodged it. Did you gain a new talent or something ?"

Well Ashley knew that one's emotions greatly affected talent creation and since Turner so quickly learnt how to control his reflexes she thought he must have gained a talent for this.

Oh how much she would have cursed if Turner told her that he made this talent and not gained it normally.

Afterall this power – the ability to create talents, was something that could not be gained by humans, well not until god gave this power to Turner.
