49 Wrong path?

My patience isn't much of a problem. I can just sit here and wait it all out. It is pretty fun cultivating. Imagine how fun it is to constantly move an almost infinite supply of blood-red water and keep slamming it into my aperture's wall, breaking it and then repairing the damages using better primeval essence.

It gets repetitive, but I just try out different methods of smashing my water against the wall and that alleviates my boredom and it isn't like I am dumb enough to miss out on such prime cultivation opportunity.

"Everyone listen to us! A herd of tug tusks is migrating on main road. We should take a detour and go to the side to avoid these creatures." What an interesting problem. I don't remember much about the cannon story anymore, not like it is relevant at all. These boars shouldn't have happened in the original story, but is being delayed is the best outcome for me. The longer Fang Yuan has to bugger off, the better for us.

I can sense his direction and he has stopped moving for a while. I am guessing he arrived at that weak village, where the rank 1 Gu master lives. The total delay I accumulated should be about 7-9 days, so I should have more than enough time to... Wait, why am I avoiding Fang Yuan? He is at his weakest. Bai Ning Bing is not even a threat. I have more than enough Gu points to deal with the both of them.

Why should I avoid them? Why can't I just walk up to them, destroy Bai Ning Bing's talent using Fate Flipped Upside Down Gu and turn him into a mortal grade trash? He will have rank 3 primeval essence, but 1-10% rank 3 primeval essence is barely worth 100% light red primeval essence. I have 8 times that amount in total! What can she do at that point?

What about Fang Yuan? He is not even rank 2! Much less capable of fighting me! I have multiple killer moves! I have power! I am the stronger party! Why should I avoid Fang Yuan? I can just extract his soul, search it and then kill him off! What use is he to me? Didn't I place a tracker on him specifically to do this? Kill him while he is at his weakest?

What the fuck have I been even doing up to this point? Being kind? Trying to make people like me? Did leaving the comfortable space of my mountain make me brain-dead?! Did it destroy my ambitions? My wish for strength? This is completely unlike me! I might not be evil, helping out people with no cost to myself is normal and I am more than willing, but Fang Yuan isn't like normal people.

He is evil! He has no bottom line, no morals, a complete plague! Why am I giving him time to grow? He is weakened, a complete nobody! Why shouldn't I just kill him!

I open my eyes and stand from the human carriage part of our caravan and jump out. My brother is right next to my carriage and doesn't seem startled as he thinks he understood my intentions. He smirked and said "Want to relive the old da-"

The moment he noticed the look on my face, he knew I wasn't in the mood for fun and waited for me to say my load. This perfect mutual understanding is the reason we are brothers in all but blood. "I don't know what is going on, but we need to kill Fang Yuan! He is directly in our way and these swine aren't letting us through!" As I got my point across, there was no more point in whispering and hiding our intentions.

I rose my head and practically screamed "My orders? Slaughter them completely and keep going! Wang Da! You stay and guard the rest, make sure Ni Eli stays in line! Let's get going!"

The mortals around us stared at me and Chun Jack as we left. I noticed Zhang Zhu coming towards us. He was probably sent by Shang Xin Ci and is trying to sway us.

He quickly approached and, after we exchanged greetings, said "My miss appreciates your effort in trying to protect us, but it isn't necessary. We can just go around them and no one needs to risky injury or anything. This endeavour is completely unnecessary."

I shook my head and looked towards the beautiful girl looking at me from the carriage "I am not doing this to show off or get injured. These beasts are a threat to not just us, but to others as well. If I don't eliminate them, despite possessing the power to, I would be ashamed for the rest of my life! Chun Jack, we are leaving!"

The mortals stared at us in amazement and probably couldn't believe I was a Gu master. If I am being honest, Gu masters like me are probably pretty uncommon. I like to play the role of a knight as a Gu master. Chun Jack having an anti-Gu sword is just the icing on the cake.

Even if you think my actions are reckless, just remember how the leader of these beasts is a thousand beast king, with about 750+ boars under him. I can regenerate enough primeval essence to kill them multiple time a second. Lights Of Disintegration is mostly s burst attack, but it can also be a sustained range attack. I only need to change the order I activate the Gu worms in to achieve that. I am REALLY good at inventing killer moves!

"The plan this time is a bit different than usual. I need to blow off some steam. This big bad boar is exactly what the doctor prescribed! You finish off the little buggers and I will destroy this fat pig!"

I hope the big guy at least has some good Gu worms on him, or I will be furious! I need to kill something!

I don't care about these tiny little piglets. The best way to go about it is to just jump over them using my newly bought rank 3 spring weed Gu.

Within second a spiral of grass appears below my feet and Chun Jack rushes on, as a purple aura begins to surround him and he unsheathes Guts.

Spring Weed is probably my favourite movement Gu, as it has an... Unique trait. The stronger you press down on it and the longer you keep it compressed, the stronger the pushback force. Higher rank only increase the durability of the created spring, so technically rank 1 and 10 versions of it will look the same and do the same thing. The only difference is the increased limit, which can be tapped into by using physical strength, something I have quite a bit of.

Compressed one! Compressed four! Compressed twelve! Compressed 15!

"bang!"

The ground underneath my feet exploded, as I was launched as fast as a bullet and instantly jumped towards the huge herd of these pigs. I could see Chun Jack below me, as I crash landed a bit in front of him and smirked.

Spring Weed Gu's manifestation lasts until I land, after which it takes away all the kinetic energy from falling and breaks. Now this is the kind of fun I want! Once more! Compressed 14! And there it is!

"Come to me little piggy!" Snake Rope Gu.

Rank 3 Gu worms are kind of a stable of my combat style. Spring Weed costs about 5% light silver primeval essence, so about 50% light red primeval essence per use, while Snake Rope Gu costs 100% light red, so after 2 uses, I have exhausted 1/4th of my total reserves.

That much wasted on pure transportation and I couldn't care less! Regenerating that much is as simple as waiting 3 minutes! Not like I will let the fight last that long, with all of my strength!

As I am airborne I spin it around and throw my snake rope. It can expand to l 60 meters and bites into the thing it hits, kind of like a grappling hook. I am around 37 meters away from the pig, so I am more than close enough. Within seconds, the giant snake bites into the huge and ugly boar's back spine and I pull myself towards it.

"Sqweeach!"

Your screams don't matter, little piggy! You will die today! Well, well, well. Guess it can put up a fight!

The tusks of the tug tusk boar turned into metal and It roared with huge ferocity this time, not out of pain, but due to a Gu. Vocal use, metal tusks used as amplifiers, effect is of rank 1-2.

What strength path Gu does it possess though? I can easily ignore the voice of this beast, as low rank sound path isn't anything praiseworthy. It is a disturbance at worst and an assistant at best, kinda like how I use vibration Gu.

Who cares, Lights Of Disintegration: 10 flashes!

10 huge 30cm long wounds appeared all over the boar's back, as I got closer and used Snake Rope gu to dodge change directions and land near it. Spring Weed won't have much use here, so I can only rely on my snake rope.

The boar quickly realised where I am positioned and turned toward me. As soon as it noticed the green rope held in my hand and got used to the pain, it got enraged and began charg- oh shit!

It is charged so fast I could barely react! I dodged by a hair's leng by jumping right, but the snake rope Gu didn't allow it to charge past me. Its strength path rank 3 Gu is most likely a movement one, with fast directional movement, so mobility id its enemy. I wonder what it can do if I am on its back?

I quickly wrap my snake rope around my arm and tie it there, after which I tell the snake to shorten and the long body compresses. My body gets closer and closer to the boar's back, as it keeps charging and flies me like a kite.

I grab onto the pigs back and finally notice where it is charging, as I see Chun Jack's purple aura approaching fast. Oh shit, this is going ro be epic!

The distance between the two quickly shortens and Chun Jack jumps toward the boar, while the boar lowered its head and pointed its tusks towards my brother. Within seconds the giant sword and the beast's left tusks collided.

Sigh, I should have warned him. Even with Chun Jack's natural strength and the rank 3 aura, this is a rank 3 strength path beast, taking it head on is suicidal. The rank 1 metal path Gu is probably dead by now, but Chun Jack is probably shaken to the bones, so he won't be able to dight anymore.

The boar was pushed back a bit, but I could see the purple aura in the shape of an orc dim to a small bit of purple skin layered above Chun Jack's actual skin, as he wobbled and barely stood up.

That was a fantastic save NGL. He stopped a charging strength path thousand beast king using nothing but his own strength and lived! I am kinda jealous, but Let's ignore that. Time to end this swine!

Lights Of Disintegration: 30 flashes!

Before the pig could shake off its dizziness, my moonblades cut through its neck at lighting speed and it dies on the spot. It's body squirmed a bit, as animals don't really "die" when they are killed.

I detached my snake rope Gu's tail from my arm and threw it Chun Jack, who nodded his head and wrapped it around himself, right on time for my 15th compression, as I let the head of the head of the snake bite into my thigh and jump away with Chun Jack.

Guts is in no danger and will only be a hindrance for a while, so Chun Jack left it near the boar's head, as I jumped back and let it rampage a while.

Ten minutes later and I am back to 200% scarlet red primeval essence. I will have to refine that into crimson later, but being full on primeval essence is more important right now, than reaching my storage limit.

The caravan caught up to us, as they saw the minimally injured Chun Jack, who was just suffering a small physical trauma and me. The only indicator of the fight ever happening being the two holes in my pants and the giant boar corpse near us. "clean this place up, forget the corpse and let's get moving! No complaining, the little ones won't dare to even approach us, much less block our path!"

With this distraction taken care of, I have only 1 thing to say "Fang Yuan, you're next!"
