39 End of blood battle competition

The rank 2 competition ended with Fang Yuan directly giving up and throwing in the towel. The final battle result is a huge amount of casualties with a score of 29-30 in Xiong clan's favour. The total score being 93, 29-87, 30. Just a BTW, Mo Bei's father is in that count. People think the score is 28-30, but that old man is actually a rank 2 advanced stage Gu master, so I am constantly adding him as a +1 to the count.

The total amount of rank 2 Gu masters has been cut by exactly 50%. Such a huge amount and the winner hasn't been decided yet. Much less decided, the battle has become even more even! 6 rank 1s are about a rank 2, so they are basically the exact same in terms of rank 2 battle strength. Fun fact for anyone interested, Chi Cheng and Mo Bei have both died, leaving the two big factions of Gu Yue in despair. Fang Zheng fought one fight and then directly gave up. I feel like something about this brat is wrong, but I can't pit my finger on it.

Now, as I have mentioned before, this has all come down to an elder battle. Of course, elders like the medicine hall ones won't be fighting. Same goes for the nursery elder(Gu caretaker) and the elder battles are a lot less destructive.

Elder fight are not to the death and are only a formality, as elders are already near death(age) and they need to protect and fuse the new Gu Xiong clan together in the initial stages, so they aren't allowed to face much casualties.

The first elder to make a move was the academy elder and the Xiong clan responded well. They sent their own academy elder and they fought. Our academy elder seems to be an information specialist, but his enemy didn't let out a single word, so he couldn't do anything.

The Xiong clan elder was a sound path specialist, so he naturally won. Most of the fights were pretty cool, full of fun stuff that happened, but I'll skip them, as I have limited broadcast space and they aren't that relevent.

One fight I will mention is Gu Yue Mo Chen, who was directly killed in 1 move, which was supposed to be a rank 3 probing attack. I didn't expect such an outcome, but it did happen. Both of the clans found out his true cultivation level and the Mo faction is in some deep shit.

Without any rank 3 backup or strong inheritor, the Mo faction is basically up for grabs if anyone is interested. From the gazes Mo Yan kept sending my way, I can easily tell what she is thinking and am disgusted by them! How can I just marry a random girl? I am not something the Mo faction can afford and neither am I a tramp. I ain't going to marry into a simple Mo faction because of 1 girl.

The rank 3 battle ended with no casualties, some injuries and 1 fraud being outed. All in all, a pretty good conclusion to the whole thing. The last fight was the clan leader one and the winner was the Gu Yue clan leader.

The outcome was expected, as I have deleted a few rank 4 Gu worms from Xiong clan's reserves, resulting in the Xiong clan leader fighting the Gu Yue clan leader's 5 rank 4 Gu worms with 1 rank 4. It was an overwhelming defeat.

The blood battle competition has ended with Gu Yue clan's victory. My mum fixed the injuries I had to cause myself, so I am okay now. There are tents set up around the battle place, as it is tradition to feast and honour those, that dies in battle during a blood battle competition.

The feast will last 24 hours and afterwards we have to migrate to one of the two clan's towns. I already sent a letter to Bai clan about the casualty numbers and they will be here in 5 hours time, with their huge army and declare an official blood battle competition on the spot. the combined forces of the Gu Xiong clan is 1 rank 4, 20 rank 3, 58 rank 2 and 180 rank 1, while Bai clan has 1 rank 4, 14 rank 3, 63 rank 2 and 204 rank 1 gu masters. The have an overwhelming advantage and my help will make sure the numbers of people on this mountain is directly cut in half!

The three clans together barely resisted the wolf tide in the original, so they will most definitely not survive this huge beast tide as a single clan, with less than 1/3 of the combat power they had in the original. My plan is mostly to kill as many Gu Yue clansmen as possible, but complete extermination is not something I am against.

You think I am joking? I have a literal list for potential luck and wisdom path Gu worms. Hell, I even have a third aperture Gu on that list! speaking of aperture Gu, maybe I should get myself a rank 3 one? Even if the aperture is limited, I can still use the rank 3 aperture to cultivate my main one and make ot stronger faster.

Actually I'll tale a rank 4 one. It will boost my combat power a lot more and basically guarantee me freedom and power. sadly it costs 5K Gu points. Still 5k for rank 4 power is quite good. I will only have 3.5k Gu points left after the purchase, but I will have rank 4 Strength, so more people will want me in their force!

This Gu looks like a weird walnut. It doesn't need primeval essence, just a lot of blood, which I have a lot of thanks to my physique.

Holy fuck... I am mad! I am so fking mad! I misinterpreted what it meant and thought the wrong fking thing! This bitch gives apertures to rank 4 Gu masters, not rank 4 apertures! In my defense, the description only being "gives rank 4 aperture" isn't very good at expressing how it works.

This fking thing is also talentless! Why is it talentless?! This fking thing is basically worthless, unless you have a fate flipped upside down Gu. Still, having an extra 100% Jade green primeval essence adds almost nothing to my combat power.

I am still fking fuming! I wasted 4.9K on this, when I could have bought a rank 2 version for fking 100 Gu points. I...
