Insane summon who spent 999,999,999 years in isolation

However, there is one fate worse than all of that, one fate worse than living as a human, worse than anything I can imagine, but maybe I'm biassed. You see, I am a summon, a protector of these wretched human scumbags. But the life of a summon is most interesting when we fight, for the rest of the millennia we are kept in the same empty space, no contact, no walls, not even a floor. All so that I can die holding a sword for some wimp that can't even survive on his own or some noble shit who needs his hand held through a road trip. It doesn't matter what I do, how strong I am, how powerful… I always return to this forsaken void. Whatever twisted thing that made me created this space, so I could train, as a result the time is severely warped, even a few seconds out there takes a century to pass. I’ve been in here so long the internal monologue is just the latest addition to my insanity, to make matters worse the more insane I get the quicker people are to throw me back, By my best guess this marks the

Helena

I flicked my hand at the ground for a second, some kind of dark and oozing ectoplasm as well as chunks of priestess had been blown onto my arm during the fight, I tossed the blade down at the hand I had taken it from. Until then, I hadn't questioned the situation, I was just so desperate to save my master, I looked around at the piles of monster torsos and the group of people staring stunned at the now empty crater that used to hold a Girl Licking Demon. None of them looked very strong, so it wasn't immediately clear to me whose ass I should kiss.

"So who summoned me?"

The clearing was silent, a girl stared up at me, her body almost limp kneeling towards me, the sight of despair all too familiar. For a brief moment I almost felt empathy for them, they must have been so scared. I forced my facial muscles to tighten creating a shaky smile.

"Now now humans no need to be scared! The Great and Magnificent Summon you called for is here, now if my master could just reveal himself I can create a contract."

"How did you do that?" The armless man revealed himself kneeling on the grass close to me, his arm dripping with blood seeping through a hastily tied bandage.

"I swung downwards… now if we could all please answer my question I'm here on borrowed time."

"We don't know, please help him." a girl crouched behind the swordsman was pleading with me, her eyes leaking, and her face contorted with fear, another familiar sight.

"Fine, we'll do this the difficult way."

I raised my arm in the air shaping my other hand into a chopping form, then with a simple and swift motion I cut my raised arm off, the limb flopped to the ground and was met with a chime of gasps. I then tensed my eyes, a bright blue emanating from my pupils as the world turned black, surrounding me with thousands of spots and a small trail from my hand to a girl in front of me. My original technique, magic tracing, most arch mages can sense magic and some can see it but with this ability I use the fact that I draw magic from my owner to heal and use it to find the more stupid masters I have served. I sprung into action bowing my head before her almost soulless body, getting down onto one knee and bringing my fist in front of my heart.

"Honorable mistress, my will is yours, my time is yours, my soul is yours, my sword is yours. Allow me into your wings and allow me to achieve your wildest dreams."

"S-Save him,"

"So you agree?"

"Yes, just please save my friend."

"As you command ma'am."

I stood up bending over to find my hand, the limb sliding back on with a small amount of healing magic. A feeling of elation surging through me, climbing across my chest and into my neck. I'M FINALLY FREE.

I walked over to the swordsman, the girl still shaking at my appearance. I knelt down in front of him, my hand grasping around his stump. "This will hurt," the surrounding ground was pushed away, the grass clinging to the ground desperately locked in place, my newly reattached wrist was covered in runes and magic circles, the red writing twisting around my forearm. "Burn." The simple spell was one of four that I know, but it was enough to cauterize the wound, the flames spinning around his arm licking at his thin leather armor the bleeding stopped abruptly, and the flesh started to burn, the muscles and the skin merging in a giant scar over his arm.

Predictably the man in front of me screamed and struggled in pain. I don't exactly blame him, but it's hard to concentrate my mana like this whilst a giant baby is screeching through my ears.

"Just what do you think you're doing!!!!" the mage that was clinging onto my loose fitting clothes started to scream at me too.

"Saving him. That was an arch demon, it's common knowledge that their blades are forged from hell steel which has the ability to transform anyone into a demon when it contacts their Mana, in this case the blood that was likely used to strengthen his attacks, Hell steel will only be counteracted when a flame as hot as hell is burned near it which prevents the souls in hell from becoming vengeful dead one of god's more convenient details."

"You can't heal him? I just saw you reattach your own arm."

"I am not human, and I am not infected. In a couple of weeks that arm will turn into a lesser demon thrall and our dear swordsman would have become a virgin licker junior. If you don't want to lose your arm just don't let it be cut off."

"You bastard! You really mean to say this is his fault? How dare you-" the swordsman put his arm in front of her sweat pouring from his face, a result of the extreme pain he was enduring.

"If it weren't for him none of us would be breathing, I'm sure he's doing his best." The Man put his hand down squinting as it fell, then with a subtle smile and a nod I started the fire again, no one spoke all throughout the procedure, just grunts and exclamations of pain emanating from the swordsman. I felt bad, to a swordsman your arm is your life, not even I know what a swordsman can do without the ability to wield a sword… I'm sure he is in unimaginable pain. After finishing up his arm I disposed of the hand on the ground and walked back over to master.

"What do you command of me my master?" It's essential to make myself useful in the first few decades of servitude and then when she retires I am less likely to be abandoned, most people would have lines they don't cross but I would do anything to stay away from that hellscape, I would end this entire world if t meant a few more years out here in the world. The cool breeze of the forest feels so good against my skin, the subtle touch of the grass against my knees as I knelt before her, the sweet scent of air lifted my spirits with the first whiff.

The girl sat before me, her eyes filled with so many emotions, she just sat before me saying nothing.

"My name is Akuma, I am a summoned warrior currently in a contract with you, Master, would you mind telling me your name?"

"I am Helena,"
