201 Two Cents

Dominic was still waiting patiently for Andrea when she returned, quietly reading something on his phone. She had half expected him to be reading a newspaper. He wasn't that much older than her, he just had the air of someone from an older time.

"Welcome back," he said, standing as she entered the office. "Is everything taken care of?"

"Everything that involves me, I hope," said Andrea.

Taking her seat, Andrea noticed her phone, still lying on her desk, with an unread message. Checking it quickly:

Are you /still/ talking with Dominic? We're almost done with all the printing!

Madison. Kyle would probably have tried to be more subtle.

Just wrapping up.

She didn't expect Dominic would have that much to talk about, for all that he had waited so patiently for her. He'd have made an appointment if he thought a lengthier discussion was needed.
