"I still don't know why you think this is such a big deal," Andrea said, as she opened the door to her apartment.

"How could it not be a big deal?" Kyle said. "I'm just saying, I'm not sure I'm comfortable about you having other partners. I thought we were pretty exclusive, then you find out that I've been kidnapped, and the first thing you do is hook up with someone else?"

Kyle was grinning, so she knew he was only teasing, but she still felt like she needed to justify her actions. "It was an alliance of necessity!" she insisted. "It's not like we became an official team or anything."

"Sure you did, you even gave yourselves a team name—Wonder Lawyer and her Fat Sidekick. It took us far longer to come up with a team name!"
