102 Settling In

Kyle had beaten Andrea to the bathroom again.

She'd never had to deal with this kind of thing, even with her roommates in college. It seemed no matter how early she set her alarm, he was one step ahead of her. It wouldn't have been so bad if he were two or three steps ahead of her, then he might be done with the bathroom by the time she needed it.

"Another beautiful morning, Sunshine!" said Kyle, flashing her a smile before going back to scrutinizing himself in the mirror. He was in just his pajama bottoms again. She'd given up on trying to make him keep his shirt on, at least in the bathroom.

It was much the same as how she'd given up on kicking him out at night. The one night he left, he'd still stayed late and returned early, but otherwise he'd behaved and stayed in his own space.
