86 New Case Afoot

Kyle put his hands behind his head and leaned back in his chair. For all Andrea's concern about not wasting time to get to the precinct, the detective sure didn't seem to mind keeping them waiting.

He glanced over at Andrea. On her phone, looked like she was checking emails. Kyle looked away. Didn't want to seem like he was reading over her shoulder.

That left him looking at his own reflection. Room had one of the big mirrors filling one wall. Had to be one way. Made him wonder…

"You think they're going to be treating us as fellow investigators or suspects?"

"What makes you ask?" Andrea replied, not looking up from her phone.
