Chapter 4

The next day.

Today she was leaving the orphanage forever. Twenty-two years passed in a blink. Mrs. Khan and all the other people in the orphanage, from young to old, were sad. Every eye was teared up.

The kids made cards for her. Cute cards. The driver came. He put her luggage, comprising a small suitcase, in the car.

She hugged them. Mrs. Khan hugged her in the last. Gloomy the atmosphere was. Before sitting in the car, she put a last glance at the orphanage and then waved to all of them who came to see off her.

And her new journey began.

The driver on the way introduced himself. His name was Mukhtar and he had been serving Skinders for the last ten years. He recently got married. He was a nice and humble kind of person.

She was so engrossed, that the mansion came, and she did not realize. She only saw a limited portion of the mansion yesterday.

The interior was mind-blowing. She was awe-struck.

With an open mouth, she was looking at the hall while dragging her suitcase. Suddenly she bumped into a hard wall and fell.

"Tsk. Tsk. First day of the job and you fell, Miss clumsy chef." a deep husky taunted voice got her attention.

It was Zain. She collided with him. Feeling embarrassed she looked down. Ignoring her, he went outside.

"Heartless jerk," she muttered. He could not even help her to stand.

"Dear what are you doing on the floor?" it was Asma. She came and was also surprised to look her down on the floor.

"I..I..just tripped." She got up and straighten her clothes.

Then Asma took her and she passed through different corridors. Ayzel was afraid that she could lost here. And finally, Asma brought her to her room. The room was very warm and cozy. The bed was very

comfortable.

She then started unpacking her luggage and putting things in the cupboard.

Breakfast was done. Lunch was optional here because all men left for work. Only Aliya Khanum was in the home.

After taking some rest, she came out of her room. On finding Asma, she received another set of instructions.

Like and dislikes of all the house people about food. During cooking, she has to take care of everyone's preferences.

"Mrs. Asma..." She was making evening tea for all the other servants when a question popped into her mind.

"Asma Khala, close people here call me Asma Khala and so will you," Asma told her.

Ayzel's heart swelled up with this small warmth. She nodded.

A tray with a cup of tea and other evening snacks was sent to Aliya Khanum's room.

One cup of tea, and everybody became a fan of her.

"Girl your tea made my day. After a very long time, I have drunk such a marvelous tea." Aliya Khanum complimented her. Ayzel's cheeks blushed.

"Grandmaaaaaaaa" a feminine voice interrupted them.

"My beautiful daughter, my heart," said Aliya Khanum, and then they both hugged.

"She is Warda. Zain's sister and only granddaughter of the house." Asma told Ayzel.

Ayzel got envious of seeing the grandmother and granddaughter love.

Aliya was kissing her face, and creasing her hair and Warda was nonstop talking to her.

Aliya went to her room as well as Asma.

Then Warda noticed Ayzel.

"So you must be the new maid, here. When did you start? And why are you not wearing a maid's uniform?" she asked arrogantly.

Warda was a spoiled brat and arrogant girl. She was a model by profession.

"It's my first day." Ayzel did not feel good about her tone.

"Okay. Whatever, bring fresh juice to my room. And wash your hands before making it." She did not know that the new chef has come.

Ayzel nodded and went to the kitchen.

It was now dinner time.

Zain was sitting on the head chair.

"Asma Khala did you take cooking classes behind my back? The dinner is too tasty today. What's the matter?" Warda asked mischievously.

"No dear, Actually now we have a new chef, Meet Ayzel" Asma introduced Ayzel to her.

"Oh, this maid. Well, she cooks fine," she said in an arrogant style.

"She is a chef, not a maid," Burhan interjected.

" So what's the difference either maid or chef? In the end, she is our servant." she retorted.

"Am I invisible here?" thought Ayzel. Their exchange of heated arguments made her think that.

"Silence!" this one word from Zain and the room covered in pregnant silence.

He is the dominant figure in the house. A single leaf in the mansion needs his permission to move, that is what Ayzel observed till now.

And then the whole dinner was carried out in complete silence.

After they were done, Ayzel helped other maids in picking and cleaning dishes. Although this was not her job. But she did not mind helping others.

Then before sleeping, she chatted with Sameer. Told him how was her day.

Ayzel: Good Night Sam!

Sameer: Good night Sweetheart.

"Does he still have feelings for me?" thought Ayzel. Sometimes she felt sad about rejecting him directly. But he never let her feel down. He still respects and cares about her. Soon sleep consumed her.

But there was someone restless in his room. His mind was thinking about a very, very ordinary girl working in his house.

Her extra innocence was creating doubt in his mind.

An unfathomable emotion causing trouble inside him.

Ayzel was lost in deep sleep when the telephone placed in her room rang.

It was 5 a.m.

Lazily she picked up the phone.

"Bring a dark coffee to the gym." a rough manly voice ordered her. It was again Zain. Before she could say anything, the phone was hung up.

She still wanted to sleep. Rubbing her eyes, she changed her nightsuit and went to the kitchen. Made coffee for his Highness.

But where is the gym? She did not know. And no one is awake to tell her.

She struggled herself and finally, after an hour, she found the gym.

Without knocking she went inside. The perfect physique of Zain was on display. He was punching the bag.

The amount of sweat was telling the hard work he had done.

"Sir...Your.. coffee," she called out to him. And his punch stopped in midway.

With intimidating strides and a cold face, he moved toward her.

"do you know you are one hour late?" hid voice made her scared out of wits.

"Sir...I..I did not know the way...to the gym. That's..why..I..late. I am sorry....". She was trembling now and mug in her hand as well.

"Ssshhhh....not this five-letter pathetic word in front of me." he silenced her.

Then he took the mug from her hand. And next, what happened was unbelievable for Ayzel.

Instead of taking a sip from it, he poured coffee over her. From head to toe, she was drenched in coffee.

" And you were gonna serve me this ice-cold coffee." he snickered.

Then he threw the mug on the wall behind her very hard. She flinched very badly and shrieked.

"CLEAN THIS MESS!" he barked at her and then left the gym.

Pure humiliation.

That's what she was feeling now. She never expected this, and that too on the second day of her job.

And she could not even complain about it. Because he is the master here.

She was crying very badly. After some good fifteen to twenty minutes she got up and wiped her face.

She picked up the broken pieces of the mug and disposed them in the bin.

On her way returning to her room. Burhan met her.

"Hey, what happened to you ?" he was shocked to see her in this form.

First Ayzel tried to hide. But when he forced she told him everything. Because at the moment she needs a shoulder to cry on. Burhan consoled her.

"Zain he has been like this. He Does not like the word sorry. But it was not your mistake. Even my dad and dadi Jaan (grandmother) won't go against him. Do not worry I will give you the house tour, after breakfast" he said with a bright smile.

Thank God, that the monster was not present at the table. And Warda's breakfast was also sent to her room on her order.

Ayzel was very glad inside that she did not have to face those cruel siblings.

And true to his words Burhan gave her a full house tour. And fed his number to Ayzel's cellphone, in case of any need. Soon they both become friends.

Ayzel forgot about the morning incident. She was happy at least a nice human also live here. There was a hell of differences between both cousin brothers, despite living in the same place.

She promised herself next time she would be very cautious around Zain. Buying his wrath is equal to buying a burning fire.

But the fire was already set in someone's heart.

Burning flames of forbidden desire arousing someone.
