Chapter 1 Part 4

He had developed bad eye bags, and with his body full of cuts and bruises, it would make sense people would see him as some kind of delinquent. However, then the boy ran into someone, and the boy flinched, thinking the person would punch him or beat him. But the man raised his hand out to the boy and asked, "You don't look very good there bud, are you okay?" The boy moved his eyes away from the man's face, and faintly replied, "Fuck off," and began walking away. The mage had long blonde hair, with golden eyes, and an extremely bright aura emanating from him. The mage looked at him with a face slightly questioning him, but in a way that he felt empathy for him.

The boy hated him. How could such a man be so happy? How could he be so successful? The feeling of envy and vanity took over the boy, and he cursed the mage over and over as he moved on. Then the boy walked into the park, and decided to sit on the bench in front of a water fountain. There was no one near that area, as everyone was spread around everywhere throughout the park. The park had transportations across it, as walking through all of it would be impossible for a normal person.

Then, the boy saw a cat sitting on the bench, resting peacefully, while still keeping on guard like it was trying to protect something. The boy slightly teared up upon seeing the cat, but held it in, though not very successful. The boy walked up to the cat and said, "Mimi," and attempted to pet it, only to get hissed and scratched. This made the boy's mental state more fragile, though at this point, it wouldn't matter too much. Without his current mental state, he may have died of shock a while ago, as his mental pain is what's keeping his physical pain from killing him.

The boy tried to stop his tears, however nothing seemed to help. With his tears not stopping and his voice trembling, he didn't look back and decided to walk away. Right where he began walking away, he saw a piano. The piano was an instrument that was said to be able to purify everyone's souls with a good performer. It was said to be able to free the world from disgust. Seeing the piano, the boy's expression changed suddenly, and he calmly walked to the piano.

The moment he got near it, he raised his arm, and then swinged it down onto the piano. The piano made an ugly punchy sound, that just felt like a hammer hitting a string, nothing more to it. He began breaking into tears again, and slammed, punched, and kicked on the piano more and more. He then broke one of the high strings. The moment the string broke, he felt something shatter within him. On top of that, the surrounding space released a huge shock wave, and then the boy got sent flying into the sky.
