1 pronologue:
It was a chilly evening at the Cadets Blue hall, there was a light breeze and quiet chatter matched with the clicks of shoes on the marble floor, the hall wasn't exactly crowded but there were still plenty of people around.
A board piped up in the air around her, a dark blue screen, holding information about her next job, she slowly got off the bannister which offered first-hand view to the setting g sun and walked to a funny looking structure while being deliberately avoided by her peers. She wondered what they were thinking as she passed them in a long-sleeved buttoned shirt with single cuffs and black trousers matched with black glossy heels and leather gloves, in other words, her so-called uniform. There wasn't a dress code but she never cared really as the clothes she wore covered the black markings that were on her body.
As the reached a fellow worker asked for the location she was to travel to. As the location was being programmed she looked at the structure, covered in a rosy light with green vines creeping up and down ever so slightly, the stone layer with gold and lapis.complimenting the dim grey surface of the bird overarching the panel. The worker signalled to her it was ready and she stepped on the panel to be transported to another world.
The grass was soft beneath her feet and as she looked around she found herself in a garden where everything was quiet in the baking sun. It seemed it was early afternoon in this world, she got started and found herself coming across a family giving each other's death stares, whilst occasionally sipping tea from elegant china cups. They must have been the Bernice family, a family well known for their talents and power in the army. They, however, were not the reason Rose was here so she went on her way around the exquisites garden, covered with beauties from all over the world growing here. She finally came across a dark looking creature, housing the form of a fox, talking to a maid who was shaking, from excitement or fear, she wasn't sure but Rose stayed cautious. She spied on the maid speaking to the fox, asking it for power, the fox replied to her that through a contract he could give her everything she wanted at a single price. Rose stepped outside into the open and stabbed the fox, then looking up at the maid signalling her to stay quiet, she then lifted the limp corpse of the creature and left, indicated through her earpiece that her job was done. Retiring to base. When she arrived back she went down the hall then after several twists and turns found herself in a weaponsmith workshop, going over to the blazing furnace, she tossed the body into the flames and retired for the night.
