Quinn's P.O.V.

"Okay. We'll make this quick. Attention, aspiring Scholars and Politicians. I am the Instructor and also the Leader of Rajad, Dwaine." A man said, standing on a top of some sort of a stage in front of the crowd. He was holding a paper.

I was in a small crowd. Hmm. I think being a Scholar/Politician is big deal. I looked at Mr. Dwaine. He caught me looking at him as my heart pounded fast due to me being scared. I don't know why, but I'm scared. However, instead of looking away, he smiled. My face was full of turmoil, but instead of being confused, I smiled back. Then, he looked at the paper that he was holding.

I observed Mr. Dwaine. Mr. Dwaine was like an average mid-30's man, having a mustache with a good haircut. He was quite tall, has a good physique, and his sense of style was tremendous. Well, I think that's what you expect from a Scholar/Politician.

"The people that you see at the back of me are the Judges of this Test. They will determine whether some of you might win or not. Moving on, we have 3 phases. Please take note that once I called your name, you will stand here and state your speech." Mr. Dwaine interrogated.

"Since there are only 49 of you registered, we will give you more time to think of your speech. Your speech is about..." Mr. Dwain said. About what? Please be good.

"Your speech is about your vision." The man stated. The crowd became confused as various voices filled with questions started to fill the whole area. "You have 30 minutes to prepare. I will call your name and here at the stage will you state your speech. Thank you very much." He added.

My vision? I have like hundreds. But what are the most that I want to be changed? Rather, what is the most thing that the society needs to change....? After some thinking, I finally thought of something. Something that I think I want, and the world needs.

*1 hour and 30 minutes later*

"Thank you very much for your speech. A round of applause, if we all may." Mr. Dwaine said. All of the Judges as well as the Contestants clapped their hands.

"Now, Contestant Number 48, Mr. Zghayolnne!" The MC said as another round of applause began to be heard.

A man right beside me walked away, towards the stage. He was quite matured looking. Let's hear his speech. Maybe it's good since he's been polite since the beginning. As the man held some sort of an Item that makes your choice louder, the man smiled.

"My Vision is about Poverty." The boy named Zghayolnne stated. Ohh. Direct to the point huh?

"The world experiences a large scale of poverty, which causes a big consequence on today's society. Being a man living a normal life is like being a dust in the wind. I can be carried away by life. No matter where it will take me, I always have a destination. But what about the people that are suffering from poverty?"

"Poverty means a state or condition of a person or community that lacks the financial resources and essentials for a minimum standard of living. Poverty is like a punishment for a crime that you didn't commit. People are dying out of hunger because they can't eat anything. Some die out of sickness because of the place that they live in."

"We must raise our voices and demand an alteration. Poverty is one of the most miserable problems that are now happening not because of the people's lives themselves, but also because of the Government. My goal is to obliterate people's suffering from Poverty. Without Poverty, we have more manpower, which can help us make our city thrive and grow."

"To sum it all up, living in a society where Poverty exists is really sad, that's why we need to eradicate it all. Poverty eradication, we must take action. Thank you very much."

A few seconds of serenity was found, and then after that silence, little by little, clapping sounds began to take action. Then, all of the people clapped in awe, some whistled loudly. I snickered. His speech was encouraging. Good job.

"That was a remarkable and marvelous speech. Thank you very much, Mr. Zghayolnne. And now for the last contestant, we have Mr. Quinn!" Mr. Dwaine said.

There was no round of cheering or anything. Rather, there were a lot of disagreements and boos. Some even said that I don't have a chance anymore. I don't care. Your opinions won't bother me.

"Corruption. It's the only thing that has no side effects when it is eradicated. Think thoroughly, folks. Corruption not only involves money and power, but also the lives of the people that the "Corrupt Government" are clasping. Let me ask you all a question. What would happen if the Government are honest, hardworking, and law-abiding? Would there be poverty? Would there be inequality?" I expressed, almost like mocking the "highly people" that are at the back of me, judging every word I say. I paused my speech for half a minute, letting the audience think thoroughly about what I announced.

"After the time I've lent you, have you think about the world with no Corruption? Isn't it a good place? The people and Government are all on the same path, guided by the RIGHT RULES. I repeat, right rules. Even without Corruption, if the rules are wrong, then a country or a town would be in the wrong direction. I, Quinn, envisions to deracinate Corruption in every part of the Government this town has. Thank you all." I deciphered.

I looked at the crowd. I was quite glad at their expressions. They were shocked about what I said. Perhaps because I, of all people here, am the only one that has a Vision about Corruption. Well, I don't really care if I elicited the Government. If they are mad at me, come at me. I'm not afraid of your authority.
