Checkmate

Quinn's P.O.V.

"You spoiled brat! You must be the child the Administrator. How dare you destroy this building. I don't care who you are or what you can do. Being disrespectful and being arrogant is two of the most things that I despise the most." I said, glaring at the woman. Then, people started to gather, looking and talking about us. The wolan who destroyed the wall went near the woman, almost like finding refuge.

"Oho? You must be out of your mind. And your guess is correct. I am the daughter of  the administrator, Erza Glee. Are you trying to be cool? Or you're just crazy?" She stated sassily, rolling her eyes while curling her hair with he hand. She was wearing like one of those that sassy girls wear. Mean girl?

"Neither am I. I'm doing what I believe is right. You can't just break around walls. I don't know a lot about this, but you are clearly abusing your authority." I stated. "Master, don't worry. I'm always with you. Say what you really want to say." Luminos whispered, still on top of my head. I felt ease and calmness when I heard those words. I can't imagine having someone watch my back.

I looked at Frost, his hands were shaking. My mind went crazy. Did I say somethig wrong? Did I offend him? Should I stop? Did I only make it worse? Things like that popped out from my mind.

However, the said questions disappeared when I saw Frost's eyes. It's like telling me to do the right thing. I looked back at the girl, who is looking at me with an intense anger. Go and lose your cool. This is checkmate anyways. I whispered something to Ftost, who now was beside me, placed my left and on my back, stomped my right foot o the ground, and then smiled.

"As if you can lay your hands on me. I have bodyguards. And on top of that, they're strong. They'll protect me. And you, a lowly being, doesn't stand a chance against them. They have strong abilities. So, get out of my way. I still have some business to take care of." She stated sassily. "You praise us too much, Lord Erza." Said the woman that kicked the wall. They all smiled. You just dug your own grave.

"Do you think you can really kill me here? There are a looooot of people gathered here from other towns you know. Wouldn't they see you as a bad daughter? Wouldn't that make your name unholy? Hmm. That would make a good news! A girl was humiliated after killing a man. Her mother was now in prison. Do you like that to happen?" I stated as I stared at here with a soft smirk as I raised my left eyebrow.

I looked at Erza, her face was humiliated after I said those words. Her hand were shaking. She didn't say anything. I chuckled. This is my win.

"Afterall, your mother can still be held in prison. Can you accept such humilihation? Can you replace her position? Well, that is, if you have enough intelligence, power, and leadership skills. You don't have one, do you?" I smiled, directly looking at her. Then, the woman all went at me, pointing their weapons at me, which are spears.

"Now now, aren't all of you quite short tempered. Just a heads up though, there are a couple of cockroaches and centipedes surrounding your precious master." I giggled.

Suddenly, Erza looked at her feet, 2 cockroaches and a centipede was on her shoes. She screamed, lost her cool, as she tried to get rid of the bugs from her body vigorously. I laughed. Then, the people that were pointing dangerous spears at me ran towards the woman, who was now crying.

"And would you look at that. A self-proclaimed "highly being" is being praised by cockroaches and centipedes. Still want to be praised?" I giggled. Then, Erza ran away, while the guards tried to catch her. I sighed. My first win against a human is quite..... satisfying.

"HOORAYYYY!!!" As I was drowned in my own thoughts, the people that was surrounding us earlier danced and celabrated. Do they hate the Administrator's daughter that much? Well, sucks to be her, cause she probly can't handle the humilihation that was goven to her. That's her karma.

"T-thank you for standing up for me and our restaurant. I can't believe that we can be saved from this hellish situation we are in. We are truly thankful for your amazing deeds." A gorgeus woman stated. Gosh. I met 3 attractive humans just in my first day?

"You are always welcome. I just did what I believe is right. Afterall, I know what it feels like to be threatened and punsihed by someone without being able to defend yourself. Anyways, how much is my bill?" I asked.

"You silly. That's what you're worried about? You jsut saved us from her, and you're thinkig about paying the bills? It would be greedy if we took your money. Anyways, your tactic is really... weird. But great! You didn't use any physical means to win. Instead, you used your cleverness and wittyness to achieve victory." Frost stated.

"By killing the centipede and cockroach that was disturbed by the broken wall, you intentionally humiliated her first to gain the attetion of the guards, and when she's by herself, you let your cockroach and centipede Golems to creep the world out of her. Your ability is great by the way. You can create Golems! How great is that!" Frost added.

"Well, if you ever got in a fight that has a decided physical advantage, you just have to use your brain. You don't need to be strong or fast to win in every fight, just like this. If you want to grow, you have to be observant enough to understand what your enemy's weakness are. I used facts as evidence to humiliate her, which led the guards to threaten me, and boom." I explained. Then, the woman and Frost looked at me at great awe. This is kinda awkward.

"I'm still hungry. Can I get seconds?" I asked. Suddenly, Frost and the woman laughed. We went inside and then ate. Thus, my journey continues.
