Chapter 4.27 - Emerald - Don't Stop Believin'

As I have successfully beaten the five bandits that was facing against my floating swords, Raven continues to strike fear into the hearts of the bandits with her precise iron claw technique. She was even able to make the bandits bleed into submission as they were starting to lose blood from her claws. While I tried my best to only knock out the bandits, Raven however was not playing that kind of game.

"Don't kill them, Raven." I told her as I saw blood being dripped all over the floor.

Raven then replied, "These bandits honestly deserved to be killed though."

I sighed and told her, "That's not the problem here. I'm saying that how are we suppose to clean up any dead bodies later?"

Raven dodged a blow from an opponent and countered it with a knockout blow to the back of his neck. Raven kneel down and checked the bandit's vitals.

She glanced at me and declared, "I think you're right on that one. Now how about that one big guy over there?"

Raven was talking about another bandit that was a bit different than the other bandits that we've faced. He was larger that's for sure. He was also carrying a big axe.

I said to Raven, "He's probably the one in charge here. Let's drag him out of here."

The presumed Bandit Leader roared as he charges it way toward us. He was also trampling over his bandit buddies as he made his way toward us. Raven sends in a flock of pigeons to distract the Bandit Leader but he was completely unfazed by them as he continued to rush toward us.

"My pigeons aren't working." yelled Raven.

I maintained myself and said, "Let me handle this. Just stay behind me and wait for my call."

The Bandit Leader was getting near us but I remained still. Raven was getting nervous as she couldn't tell what I was planning. I assured her as I gently patted her shoulder and slightly nodded once at her. Raven gulped and prepared herself as The Bandit Leader was nearing us. I waited until The Bandit Boss was about five metre in front of me.

I punched the ground and created a shocking miniature tremor. Then from the ground, comes out a bunch of spiked crystals. It was able to deal damage to The Bandit Leader as he was immediately pushed and stabbed by some of the crystals that appeared. The crystal remained where it was but as soon as I punched the ground one more time, the crystals was detached from the ground and it rained down over The Bandit Leader. Some of it was able to shed some blood on his skin but it wasn't too crucial as the crystals I rained down had formed a crystal prison cell for him. All of the sharp crystal spikes landed all over him. He tried to break it but that doesn't work at all.

I giggled and told him, "Don't you know that diamonds are one of the hardest minerals that's ever known?"

The Bandit Leader grunted in anger.

After that, I told Raven, "Raven, take him out."

Raven then summoned and commanded an unkindness of ravens and sent it to fly into the mouths of The Bandit Leader. The imagery was rather unpleasant as I almost puked from what I saw. I feel like I was regretting my decision for asking Raven to finish him off. But Raven doesn't seem to mind it at all. It almost like she was used to this kind of thing.

She then whispered to me, "He'll be fine. The ravens aren't really going inside his stomach for real. I'll immediately cancel my summon and sent them back to their cage."

Thanks to that clarification, I can take a little breather from that.

"Hey, Emerald. How about you go and check on Nis and Princess Sonata. I'll clean up the bandits over here."

"How are you going to do that?" I asked.

She answered, "I'll just use my birds to drag them someplace else. Probably far from here. So I'll see you later."

With one matter has been settled, I immediately made myself up top of the rooftop and found out that Nis had finally finish consoling The Princess. The Princess was crying for some reason. It's probably related to Nis's consoling.

"There, there, princess..." Nis patted The Princess's back she said that.

I approached them and said, "Hey what's up."

Nis replied, "Everything's all right now. The Princess gave up and she's now regretting what she's doing today. She'll be fine."

"What did you tell her?"

"Nothing crucial, Emerald." said Nis. "I only told her the things she should consider about. She'll try her best to get to know Prince Medley."

"Wow." I was amazed. "I didn't know someone like you would know a lot about love problems."

Nis then shrugged and said, "I don't really know a lot. I just happen to watch a lot of Hanguk Dramas."

"Hanguk?" I was definitely surprised.

Hanguk is an eastern country that was comparably smaller than Zhongguo. It's actually separated into two different country. Namhan and Bukhan. Both of them are basically south and north Hanguk respectively. I could tell more but that's not the important thing right now.

"Come on guys. Let's head back to the festival." I told the two of them.

Princess Sonata then said, "Yeah. Let's go. I wonder if Prince Medley was worried about me or not."

"I'm sure he will." I giggled and helped her get up.

We then made our way back to The Music Festival as we try to find where The Prince as well as Lala and the others were...
