Definitions

Hello everyone. So, to not have to explain all the information regarding certain details in the main chapters, I will write the most pertinent definitions here.

Position: A person's placement or job in a team. The most common ones being fisherman, spear bearers, scouts, light bearers and wave controller. Although, some special ones like defender, guide and anima also exist.

Strength (in the status): the ability to carry objects or exert force only relying on your physical body.

Toughness (in the status): the measure of how much damage or how many hits you can take without getting injured. This stat doesn't apply to mental toughness.

Intellect (in the status): the ability to process and memorize information.

Agility (in the status): the measure of both, how fast you can move and how fast you can react.

Control (in the status): the measure of how much control you have over shinsu.

Shinsu: the ever-present energy inside the tower. It is part of the floor guardian's body, and it behaves like water. It is able to provide water, to allow those inside the tower to breathe, to strengthen one's body, to make a variety of attacks, to control many devices, and, it also allows for the bending of reality, although, only high rankers in the top rankings would be able to do that.

Quality: the affinity of the shinsu in a person. Everyone has a certain affinity decided from birth. By training in it, one would advance faster and become stronger.

Baang: the unit of the controlled shinsu. The more you are able to control, the stronger you are as a wave controller, although, controlling more than one baang requires immense amounts of focus. High rankers are able to control about 30-50 of them. While, even the most prestigious D-rank regular would hardly be able to control five of them.

Myun: the maximum size of a baang the user can make.

Soo: the maximum purity or density of a baang the user can make.

Tension: the ability to pack power into a single baang.

Note: Myun and Soo can be measured by specific devices in the tower.

Soul Tier: the potential of your soul. It ranges from 1 to 9. And it can be incredibly hard to pass from tier 4 to 5, and even harder to pass to those above it. Also, it is impossible for a person to reach tiers 8 or 9 as they represent concept and origin respectively. So, the maximum a person would be able to reach would be tier 7, although only two of them can exist at maximum in a World. This is a concept borrowed from Endless Path: Infinite Cosmos.

Innate: the skills which define you. Although they can be changed according to both situations and belief. Although it is very hard to do so. The more of them you awaken, the easier it becomes to advance to a higher soul tier. This idea was also borrowed from EPIC.

Parameters: it is basically the soul tier range of the World. Also, an idea borrowed from EPIC.
