As I climbed down the mountain, I noticed the elite goblins, and I wanted to try my newfound skill.

The yellow filter around my eyes appeared again.

And instead of the red color completely covering them like Alderon, the color these elite goblins had was yellow.

And the size was way less than Alderons; it didn't even cover their bodies. Instead, it was only covering a small part of their chest, around where their heart would be.

'Was it because Alderon had that much mana?'.

Once again, he seemed much more amazing than before.

But it wasn't fair to compare him to these elite goblins. They really weren't that strong.

It's true they were stronger than the normal goblins, and that's why they appear after killing the wolf.

'But that was really it; they were very weak compared to me'.

Wait, they only appear after killing the wolf.

I have made a horrible mistake.

Because I killed so many normal goblins, the wolf appeared faster than normal.

Faster would be an understatement. It spawned on the first day that we were summoned here.

which meant that the players were fighting against elite goblins as low-level players.

If we followed the regular pace, they would have only fought the elite goblins on days 3–4. But now they were fighting them on day 1.

I have to regress.

There was no doubt in my mind as I took my dagger out.

If there was a time to regress, this would be it.

I opened my eyes, but this time the view was a little different.

The sky looked a little yellow instead of the clear blue color that I was used to.

It was because of my skill that it was still activated.

Just like all my other skills, I also kept this one after regressing.

And now Lee Min-ho is going to approach me again.

At the same time, I could see from behind me a small red object approaching me.

It was still a little hard to get used to the 360-degree view.

But what could I do other than get used to it?

As I turned around to look at him, I noticed that he had a surprised face.

"Is that the contact lens you use?" He was a little shocked. "You look so cool; is it for a cosplay?"

Yeah, well, that settles it. My eye color changes when I use my skill.

But there is something else that has been bothering me: why is the ground so red?

Ever since I regressed under the grass, there was a fiery red color.

Especially in the middle of the field, it was the most intense there compared to other places.

Red color under the grass? Is there something below us?

I turned around to walk over to the middle of the field.

"Wait, do you know where we are?" Lee Min-ho spoke faintly in the background, but I ignored him as I continued to walk over to the middle of the field.

As I reached where the color was the most intense, I crouched down and tried to feel the grass.

It was a little warm, and it had the texture of regular grass.

The red color was very deep under the grass. It had to be at least 10 meters.

There is definitely something below the field.

How did I not notice this before?

Without the skill of Alderon, I would have never noticed this.

Without this skill, it would have been impossible for me to know about it.

I thought the only thing that kept me back was because I didn't learn the 'Universe Eyes' skill.

But this made me doubt: was it really the skill that kept me from perfectly clearing the floor?

Or was it the thing under the field that kept me back?

Well, there was only one way to find out.

And that would be to try my best and clear this floor. If it was the 'Universe Eyes' skill that held me back,

Then clearing this floor would make me return home.

And if I cleared this floor and it still said that the floor was not perfectly cleared, then it meant that the thing under the field was the real problem.

That might raise another question: why don't I just find what is under the field?

It would solve my problem, as I could return home after solving what is under the field.

But the thing is, it's only a hunch. There was a chance that it wasn't part of my skill, so I would rather try to clear the floor now.

I didn't know how much time it would take to find what was under the floor.

I want to go home as fast as possible, so this was the better choice.

I would clear the floor now and then see if my skill activates or not.

But before I do that, I should probably deactivate my skill.

The colors disappeared from my view, and now all I had to do was kill some monsters.

The faster the monsters die, the faster I can go home.

As the angel got out of the portal, I realized that this might be the last time I saw him.

Well, obviously he wasn't real since I have already found out that he was some sort of recording.

But it was still the last time I would see him.

"I think that was all. So good luck climbing this tower."

As he said his last words, I knew that I couldn't just let him go without saying anything.

"I hope I never see you again!" I shouted with all my might while the pressure was still on.

Well, obviously, there wasn't any reaction since it was only a recording of some sort.

But it felt great since this might be the last time I see him.

As he entered the portal, the pressure disappeared from everyone, and they tried to look at who yelled.

But I was already long gone, because I instantly dashed to the weapons and entered the forest.

After killing a lot of goblins, I looked at the clear condition.

- Kill 1000 monsters [461/1000].

This should be enough goblins.
