The Secret In The South(2)
It was small compared to the field that was at the start, but it was around the size of a basketball court, just circular instead.
Beyond the house, there were trees circling the field.
"This is probably the middle of the south side of the forest".
I looked at the wooden house; it was built like the straw houses.
But instead of straws, it was made of wood.
I approached the wooden house and checked the exterior.
Just in case there was a trap, I really did not want to repeat this again.
The house wasn't that big at all; it was more correct to say it was a cabin instead.
It really was only big enough to fit one room.
I did not feel the tingling sensation, so there probably weren't any traps.
I went to the front and opened the door. I still did not feel the tingling sensation, so I slowly went inside.
There was nothing inside the room except for the same type of box that food would usually be in.
"All of this struggle just for a water bottle?"
As I was approaching the box, I thought of my new skill.
"Well, at least it wasn't all a waste, as I got a skill out of it".
I got closer to the box, and I noticed a blue shine.
I got excited and quickly looked inside the box.
It was a potion the size of a normal cup and had a blue liquid inside of it.
It glowed a little, and I picked it up from the box.
"It has to be good stuff, but do I just drink it?"
Or am I supposed to spread it on my body? I have no idea how this works, as there is no manual next to it.
No matter how I see it, this is supposed to be the reward.
Well, if it's not supposed to be drunk, I'll just regress and do it differently.
I opened the lid of the potion and smelled it.
It had a sweet scent, and I took the potion to my mouth and drank all the liquid.
A warm, tingling sensation spread all over my body. I could feel it from my chest to my fingertips.
At the same time, I also felt an immediate surge of energy.
It soon stopped, and I looked around the room.
I felt a strange sensation in my body; it felt like the energy was radiating all over my body.
At the same time, I felt my senses heighten. I had to look at my status window to see what the changes were.

The potion gave me a 10 stat mana increase.
I instantly got an amazing idea. If the potion gave me 10 mana, what if I kept regressing and kept drinking it?
Wouldn't I, at some point, have unlimited mana?
With that thought, I took my dagger out and stabbed myself in the eye.

I repeated all the same methods to avoid the traps. But it was easier this time.
I felt all my senses were heightened, and I could pay attention to finer details.
An energy that I did not have before was continually spreading all over my body.
It was very refreshing to have that feeling.
But I had no idea how to control it. 'I have to test it in the future.'
I quickly reached the small field, and as I looked at the house, I had a thought.
It was weird that it was built the same way as the straw houses.
Is this how the rewards are assigned? The better the house, the better the reward.
Opening the door, I saw the same box.
I drank the potion, and I got the same feeling of energy, just not as intense as the first time.
So I looked at my stats.

Unfortunately, my mana only increased by 8. Well, it was sad that I couldn't get unlimited mana, but it was better than not getting anything at all.
It seemed like the amount of mana I got was halved compared to the first.
So I can probably get more mana if I keep drinking it.

I have regressed multiple times, and my mana is now at 25. Last time I only got 1 mana from drinking it, so I probably can't get anymore mana.
I went to the small field to drink it one last time.
Quickly emptying all the liquid, I looked at my status window.

My mana doesn't increase when I drink it anymore. And I didn't feel that energy anymore.
25 mana was probably the maximum that potion could give.
I got slightly disappointed, but I should be happy that my skill allowed me to drink the potion multiple times.
Now my mana stat was the strongest out of all my stats. The problem was that I didn't know how to control it at all.
The only feeling I had was that my senses heightened and there was this weird energy in my body.
The world felt more clear, and I had more clarity when I looked around.
I thought that if the south side had that amazing of a reward, maybe the other directions would have equally as good of a reward.
There was only one way to find out, and that was to regress.
I took my dagger out to stab myself in the eye.

I stood up and stood, and I had an amazing feeling of energy radiated inside my body.
"This mana really is amazing".
"Where the hell am I?"
I ignored the middle-aged guy and went to my usual spot. If I leave fast, Lee Min-ho usually doesn't ask me questions like he did the first time.
I slowly walked to my usual spot and observed people's expressions.
Confusion and tiredness were the expressions that most people had.
I also felt tired and confused at first, but after so many times, I got used to it.
But after getting mana, I don't even feel tired when I regress anymore.
My mana was also 25, which is a huge number compared to my stats.
Let's say I'm an irregular and started with 0 mana, but all the other people started with a mana stat of 5.
My mana right now would be five times that.
I should probably find out what the average amount of mana is in the future.
The only thing I was a little worried about right now was how I had regressed.
I usually stab myself in the eye to regress. At first, I wasn't used to it at all, but now it has become something like second nature.
This was a little bit worrying, but it is probably fine.
In the future, I should probably have a poisoned item with me. Because poison usually makes me regress immediately.
Therefore, having an item that contains poison would be very convenient.
I finally reached my spot and waited for the angel.
Ripple!
The angel appeared and started talking.

I repeated the same thing as the angel said in my head.
After all this time, I have memorized all the things the angel would say.
It was a little sad that enough regressions have passed and that I have completely memorized everything he would say.
The pressure was also significantly lessened when the angel appeared.
It is probably because of my mana. I could only move slightly before.
But now I can look around with some struggle and even take a step.
This was a huge improvement as I couldn't move at all before.
The angel dropped the weapons and left again.
I picked up a sword and dagger from the pile of weapons.
The plan right now is to explore the other sides of the forest, to see if there was more rewards.
