I Am Too Weak(4)

We went to an open space in the field, so no one could disturb us.

"I think here is fine". Lee Min-ho said as he stopped.

Lee Min-ho took a battle stance, and I could feel a small aura of pressure. But compared to the wolf, the pressure that he radiated was much smaller.

We were not fighting with metal sword, instead we were fighting with the sheaths.

I thought that with my experience of fighting against goblins, the difference wouldn't be that big. As he would technically have no experience.

I charged forward to use my new technique, I aimed for his left foot as a feint.

At the same time Lee Min-ho swung his sheath towards my wrist.

Clack!

My weapon flew up in air and a slight pain in my wrist could be felt.

'What the hell, did he just disarm me?'

My sheath landed on the ground next to me. Lee Min-ho relaxed and began talking.

"You grip relaxed on your sheath so I knew you were going for a feint.

At the same time if your grip is relaxed, your sheath or sword in a real situation can be disarmed.

I only knew that your grip relaxed because you started with a feint. Feints should be done in the heat of battle, to take them by suprise". Lee Min-ho said in a calm demeanor.

As I was trying to sort this information in my brain, Lee Min-ho took a battle stance.

"Ok pick up your sheath and let's spar again".

I picked up the sheath to fight again. The result was exactly the same. Lee Min-ho was holding the tip of his sheath towards my neck, while I was in the motion of a downward strike.

"Maybe learning about the basics is a better idea". Lee Min-ho suggested.

"Yeah that is probably a better idea". I answered with a tone of approval.

There is only a stat difference of 3-4 at maximum, and I couldn't fight back at all.

"Ok show me how you swing your sword". Lee Min-ho said.

I swung my sword downward and I thought it was pretty good. But Lee Min-ho did not think the same.

"It's all wrong, the way you place your feet, the weight distribution and the way you hold the sword.

Here do this instead". He said as he showed slowly on how I should make the downward swing.

I looked at him trying to mimic what he did, and swung again. This time it felt better, and more comfortable.

"It's still not correct". Lee Min-ho said.

He approached me to correct my movements.

"A little more to the front, and now move your hips a little to the side". He adjusted my body using his knowledge.

"Ok now swing again".

Swoosh.

My sword felt a lot stronger, while doing minimal effort.

"Yeah that's more like it, remember that feeling when you swing your sword".

Just these tips helped me much more than all of my previous regressions did combined.

Lee Min-ho helped me alot more after this. He showed me multiple ways on how to wield the sword, while he practiced at the same time.

Kim Jihoon and Kang Sangwoo also got better at handling their skills.

The sun was setting and the middle-aged group of 20 people came again with boxes. Just like the previous times.

Lee Min-ho approached them to get information about the monsters. I could see that the leader did not look fondly at Lee Min-ho.

He is probably angry at the fact, that we didn't enter the forest even though we had strong skills.

Lee Min-ho came back with a dejected expression and a box of food.

"It seems like the monsters are goblins, and they shouldn't really be problem for the average person with a skill to kill.

They do appear to be smarter than the goblins that we know of, because there has been signs of them making traps and hiding on top of trees.

We will enter the forest tommorow morning, so let's get some rest for now". Lee Min-ho said to the group.

They layed down to sleep on the grass.

My eyes scanned the field, and I saw Yon was crying with her face buried in her knees.

It reminded me of her dying to the wolf. An anger arose in me, and I knew that I didn't deserve to sleep.

I need to get stronger. When I regress the feeling of fatigue goes away, so I don't need to sleep.

I steeled my resolve and took the dagger out.

"Haha this never gets comfortable to do".

I stabbed my eye.

I did exactly the same as the last regression, I tried to fight against the angel's pressure, Join Lee Min-ho's group and recommend that we learn about our skills.

We went to the open space and sparred again. He still won effortlessly and he then gave constructive critism on my sword moves.

I used the critism and advice to further refine my basics on wielding the sword.

This way I continued to swing the sword till sunset, and before Lee Min-ho approached the group of middle-aged people.

I took my dagger out to stab my eye.

I fought against the angel's pressure, and I could finally move my head a little.

The angel dropped the weapons, and this time I didn't want to practice.

So I took a sword from the pile of weapons, and went to the west side of the forest.

I found a group of 3 goblins with spears. I didn't want to kill them by ambushing, as I wanted battle experience.

I ran in front of the goblins and stopped around 10 meters in front of them with my sword out in a battle stance.

The goblins got shocked as they readied their weapons.

They charged towards me with their spears, but compared to Lee Min-ho they were very slow.

I quickly dodged to the side and swung my sword towards one of the goblins.

He could only look in shock as the sword was approaching his neck.

Swish!

As his head was falling down, I kicked his body away. Because he was blocking one of the goblins.

I slashed horizontally towards the second goblins stomach, and the fight was set in stone.

The third goblin couldn't do much alone as I killed him.

Now taking on 3 goblins at the same time was not a problem.

I didn't stop here as I went to kill more goblins until the sun was setting.

I realized that I was very close to the edge of the forest. So I went out of the forest to explore.

The same houses was still here and the big mountain could be seen.

Rumbling.

My stomach growled and I realized that I haven't eaten for a long time.

So I went inside one of the straw houses to get food from the box.

The same water bottle, beef jerky and energy bar was there. I sat down to eat after a long time.

Since every time I regressed I wouldn't be hungry anymore.

That's why the food tasted very good and I completely filled myself.

I went out of the straw house to see that it was dark outside, with a full moon up in the sky.

Before I wanted to regress, I wanted to go further away from the forest to explore.

I was getting closer to the big mountain, and I saw a faint outline of something in the distance.

It was a little scary to go further, as it was very dark and it gave an eerie atmosphere.

But I thought of my skill that could make me regress if something went wrong.

That helped me calm my nerves, as I countinued to walk forward to find out what that outline was.

I got closer and the faint outline became more apparent. It had the shape of a person.

It seems like the person was also walking towards me. The closer I got the more I saw.

It was the girl with the sports jacket.

That's when I saw the weapons. Spears, daggers, bow, shields, hammers and swords.

One dagger on her leg, and on the other a viking hammer. On her back a shield, bow and sword was equipped.

In her hands a long spear around 180 cm.

'Why does she have so many weapons?' That has to be inefficient to fight with.

I continued to walk trying to go past her. The closer I got to her the more intimidating aura I felt.

Her body just radiated that aura, and it wasn't like she was doing it on purpose.

I had the feeling that she could instantly kill me, if she wanted to.

She was strong, way stronger than me. Even Lee Min-ho felt weak compared to her.

I have been sparring with Lee Min-ho, but he did not give this feeling at all.

As I was about to continue walking towards the big mountain.

"You shouldn't go that way". She stopped me.
