After I killed the wolf, I chose 'Elixir of Agility' again. I wanted to see how much I could increase my agility stats with just this one potion.
But as I looked at my status window,

It seemed like it was only possible to increase the stat by 15, which was slightly worse than the mana potion that increased my stat by 25.
"I just wasted an attempt".
At least every time I regressed, I could kill the wolf faster and faster. Now it was even possible to kill the wolf on the same day.
This was because I had memorized mostly where every goblin would be in the forest, therefore making the wolf appear much faster than before.
Each time I would run with a full sprint inside the forest, killing every goblin on sight.
So at least it wasn't that bad, and I had to know how much the one potion could one stat with. And now I knew that the answer was 15.
As I looked at the dead wolf, I remembered that I also needed to know if it became stronger when I fought it under the full moon.
'Maybe it would give a different reward if I fought it at night?'
But before I fight it at night, I need to at least maximize my two other stats.
I took my dagger out and stabbed myself in the eye.

After a few regressions, I had finally gotten my stats maximized from the potions.
I tried to defeat the knight again, but my skill kept regressing me back to the floor.
In the end, I also tried to use the hidden exit on top of the mountain.
But as I clicked on [Yes],

Therefore, I could finally put my plan into action. To see if the wolf gave a different reward at night.
I wanted to kill enough monsters so the wolf would spawn, but at the same time, I didn't want it to appear while all the other people on the field were sleeping.
What should I do?
Well, I could just wake them up in the middle of the night.
It seemed obvious now that I thought about it. So what if the wolf became stronger at night?
I was already way stronger than it. At worst, it would just take a little longer to kill it.
At that point, the other people should notice the commotion and wake up.
'Let the wolf try its best; no matter what, it will still end with its defeat'.
After it became night, I killed as many monsters as I could.
I walked back to the field. After I saw there were only 10 monsters left for the wolf to spawn,
As I waited at the field, I noticed that people were sleeping far away from where the portal would appear.
That was good because there was no need for me to wake up the other people.
But as I waited, I noticed a slight problem.

Only three monsters have been killed since I stopped killing monsters. I knew that the number of monsters killed at night would be lower because of the need to sleep.
'But really only 3 monsters?'
I didn't account for the fact that it would take that long for 10 monsters to be killed.
Hanging in the middle of the dark sky was the full moon. It cast a silver glow all over the grassy field.

It's been stuck at 499 monsters for 10 minutes now. I knew at any time the portal could appear.

"Finally," I said with a tone of annoyance.

The portal emerged from the thin air, and from within, a big figure materialized.
The wolf stepped through the portal, and the silver glow from the full moon was reflected on its fur.
It's sharp eyes locked with mine, and it was acknowledging the full moon above.
It threw back its head and let out a howl.
It was a loud sound, filled with power, echoing through the field.

"What happened?"
The people at the field woke up in shock from the loud howling.
I heard them waking up, but I did not for once look away from the wolf.
It was the first time that I fought it under the full moon, and I was a little anxious about what it could do.
The thing that scares humans is the unknown. Therefore, my eyes did not leave the wolf that was howling.
But it seemed like I was worrying too much.
The wolf under the full moon started to change. It was gradual at first, but slowly it increased in size.
It was a transformation that I had already seen before. When I injured the wolf severely, it would sometimes transform like this.
So the only thing that changed at night was that it would transform immediately.
"Hahaha… It seemed like I worried for nothing".
I withdrew my sword back to my sheath.
If it was just the same transformation, there was no need to use my sword.
I wanted to do something that I hadn't done before. Which was to fight it with my bare hands.
I didn't want an easy win, or else I would have used my sword. I wanted to humiliate it.
No matter how many times I looked at it, it still reminded me of that day.
The day it killed everyone But I wasn't that angry anymore, since it could never kill everyone again.

I cracked my knuckles, and a smirk appeared on my lips.
As I locked eyes with the wolf, I showed my middle finger.
