1 Chapter 1:Surprise!The mc's the villain and goes to prison.
Everyone has dreams about what they want to accomplish and goals they want to achieve. However not everyone has the luxury to complete their dreams and reach their goals be it because of circumstance or just laziness.
I always wanted to go to a good college or even a university to have better opportunities, however as I said not everyone has that luxury.
Just as I finished high school the breadwinner of our house my father died in the war for Earth section,against another world section called Spring, leaving me and my pregnant mother with only enough money to survive for a few months.
He was praised as a warrior of Earth yet that status brought us nothing only mockery.I had to get a job,which was hard for a non-awakend, and began to support us.
It has been three months since my father died and almost nine months since my mother has been pregnant.I have never fit in with society and was always bullied,I have nearly been killed or killed myself many times yet by miracle always survive.
It has been diagnosed that I may have an ability however it has not been detected that I have even the tiniest bit of myriad energy.I have been practicing with a meditation technique my mother got for me as a birthday gift last year yet I can't seem to sense energy no matter how hard I try.
My mother has always loved me however after my father's death she has become distant. However I have hope,as long as I have my sister with me in the future I will be fine.She will be pure and untainted by this world and I will make sure to keep her safe because she is and will be my reason to continue living.
Or that's what I thought...
"We are sorry to have involved your family in this accident mister Elk Raiser.We apologize and are sorry for your loss."
Elk stood in front of his house or what's left of it with a dull expression staring at two men in black suits speaking with no emotion as if his loss did not matter to them.
"What the hell are you talking about!? You couldn't even keep one criminal under control,then what is your use! Why did my father die for this world if you can't even protect his family!"
Elk expression distorted as he shouted at them and grabbed one of the men's collars.The man looked at him with a emotionless expression and grabbed Elk's wrist,as he squeezed Elk showed a pained expression and let go of his collar.
"Although we are sorry for your loss that does not warrant you talking down to Earth's government and assaulting an officer of the law.I will let it go this once however never let it happen again."
He let go of Elk's wrist and the two of them walked away. Staring at their backs Elk felt his anger and hatred boil and a sense of powerlessness washed over him.
He got up and walked towards his ruined house only to see his mother's corpse lying in where the kitchen used to be with her throat slit.He fell to his knees as he began to cry.
"Mom...sis...Why,why did it have to be you?Why wasn't it me,Why!!!"
"Hey kid your disturbing our investigation here,go and grieve somewhere else."
A man with a suit similar to the two men earlier came from behind and said in a lazy voice.
Elk turned around with tears in his eyes and stared at the man.He had long gold colored hair,blue eyes and a handsome face.From his attitude one can see he has gotten everything he has ever wanted in life.On his chest was a name tag:
Richard Wake
Awakend:Refinement stage level 3.
He was smoking a cigarette with a dark brown book in his hand.
Huh?that book looks familiar.
"Hey,that's my book!"
Elk sprung up from his kneeling position and jumped for the book however as an awakened Richard was faster.He missed the book and fell on his face.
Richard snorted and put the book in his bosom pocket on the inside of his suit and took the cigarette out of his mouth.
"Yours? Where do you see your name on it?It's mine now kid, listen well to your uncle Richard's advice having treasures without the strength to protect them is the greatest sin.So I'm actually doing you a favor by taking it away."
He then turned around and walked away,while walking away Elk heard him whisper.
"Stupid kid he doesn't even know what a treasure this is.A complete meditation technique from Refinement stage until Domain stage and it is a non-attribute meditation technique,how rare.Hehe, I made a killing this time."
As Elk heard this rage overtook his mind as his eyes became red with fury.What he did not notice was a black gas seep out of his body as his emotions were to chaotic.
That is the only thing I have left from my mother, give it back! Give It Back!
Elk screamed and leaped toward Richard who had his back turned and laughing in glee. Richard heard the scream and turned around.
Because they were so close and Richard didn't put his guard up towards Elk he didn't have time to react and was grabbed by the throat.
Heh,is this kid stupid or something? His attacks won't work on me,he is just...
Before Richard could finish his thought he felt something penetrate his body as his entire body became paralyzed.
"Cahahh...Hel...p...help."
Richard tried to shout for help but his voice couldn't reach far.He kept gasping for air as something cut of the moment of his body.
"Die!Die,die die die,DIE!!!"
Elk screamed as he began to lose his mind.Just as Richard was about to suffocate to death the two men from earlier returned.
When they saw the situation although confused they rushed toward Elk and one of then kicked Elk sending him flying toward a wall,when he hit the wall his head hit first make a crisp cracking sound...
Crack!
...and his skull caved in making him pass out.The black gas dissipated and silently his skull started to heal without anyone noticing.
"Hey Richard,you okay?"
Richard sat up as he gasped for air and looked at Elk lying unconscious with hatred.
"I'm gonna...cough...kill that brat!"
The two held him back as Richard tried to strike toward Elk.
"Hey!Stop it now! If you kill him it would make you and the government look bad.How are you going to explain to the press outside how a boy suddenly died with only us in here?Think before you act!"
Richard calmed down however he would not let this go lying down.
"Then how am I supposed to let this go!"
The man then contemplated and said.
"Just deal with it how we usually do,say he worked with the criminal and is an accomplice then brand him as a 1 star Unranked criminal and throw him in prison.He won't survive there for long anyway."
Richard snorted turned around and walked away.One of the men then walked to Elk and put handcuffs of him.He then looked at Elk head with a confused expression and muttered to himself.
"I'm sure I heard a bone cracking sound and saw his skull cave in but he looks absolutely fine,was I just imagining things?It seems I need to get some sleep seven days of work without rest is too much even for an awakened.Sigh"

"Everyone some new evidence has come to light."
Richard spoke with a amiable expression to the press and people standing around the crime scene.
"We have gotten a confession from the son of the murdered victim that he has colluded with the murder to murder his own mother and unborn sibling.We shall be treating him as an accomplice and brand him as a 1 star Unranked criminal.We shall bring justice to the victim and put him behind bars were he will suffer for his crimes!"
As Richard spoke with a passionate expression the crowd gasped and the reporters wrote down everything he said.The neighbors then started to comment.
"I always knew there was something wrong with that boy.He always wore a sinister expression as he walked by my house.I'm glad a criminal such as him will finally be in jail!"
"Yeah!He always looked at me with lecherous eyes,ewww!"
"Oh my!But he was always so nice to me and I often heard him talking about how he would 'take care of' his sister and his mother,so that's what he meant.I guess you can't judge someone by their appearance or words."
As Richard heard this he smiled at himself in glee as he was praised.
See this brat!This is real power my words hold the influence to decide your fate!
As the commotion continued Elk's body was being carried out.When the people saw him in handcuffs they cursed him and condemned him.
He was put in the back of a armored truck and drove him off to prison.

When the crowd and reporters left the clean up services came to take away the body of Elk's mother.When they neared the corpse they suddenly saw movement from the stomach and one of them,a woman,put her hand on the stomach and felt something inside of it move.
"Oh no!Hey call the madics the child is still alive,hurry!"
