They were filled with much more clarity as if the further up one went, the clearer it would become.

At the lowest rungs, Noah's powerful will could see the figures of Entities around him still.

They were sparse and spread out, but they were there!

Around their bodies, there were significantly fewer chains compared to those below them in the Gradations of Extremity, and yet…they were still bound by chains.

Their expressions were stern with their eyes closed as if they sought to understand more about Extremity, with their bodies fluctuating as ever so slowly…they tried to inch upwards.

But their movement was abysmally slow.

As if they may just be inching upwards for all their lifetimes before the concepts supporting their souls waned and ever so slowly lost their extremes, their very existence beginning to break down in time.

Unless they could reach a higher level.
