1 Author's Note (Feb 2nd, 2021)

Hi guys, thank you so much for waiting patiently for the latest update! In my previous author note, I mentioned this novel would resume as soon as "The Rise of Xueyue" comes to an end. Unfortunately, I was unable to fulfill that end of the bargain, and I'm really sorry. It's completely understandable if you're angry or upset at me, and I don't ask for your forgiveness T_T.

In regards to the update of this novel, ILWML will be discontinued.

I mentioned the novel was in the works of planning for a while now, but, with regret, somewhere along the line, I didn't have the passion and motivation to continue the story in the direction that it was heading. There were multiple attempts to find where it went wrong or what I disliked about the previous plot, but I'm still figuring that part out. Since I lost inspiration, I knew the writing and plot would be affected, and I didn't want to give you lovely readers a half-assed work.

ILWML's future is uncertain for now, as I'm not sure if this novel will be revamped or not with a completely new direction but a slightly similar plotline.

To be completely honest with everyone, this is one of the first times I discontinued a novel and it was an extremely tough decision to make as it would let you readers down. But it had to be done T_T

I'm sorry for letting you guys down with this news, but I didn't want to keep everyone waiting and waiting for nothing in the end. Thank you again to those who have been understanding and patient, your kindness will not be forgotten, and will always be treasured in my heart!
