Chapter 75 - Preparations
Sheyan came out of his conscious space and looked at Sheryll.
"Sorry, I was thinking about something, let's go to the hall." Sheyan spoke and started walking.
Sheryll didn't say anything and just followed behind him.
After a short while there appeared in the main hall again but Sheyan didn't stop and exited the hall to come to the hallway.
"Good, you have already brought so many corpses here." Sheyan complimented as he looked at the hallway in front of him.
Current hallway looked just like a big morgue, there were many corpses of guards lying all over the floor.
"Captain, you are here. I have counted there are a total of 358 corpses here and according to our estimate 300 or so more corpses would be brought here in 30 minutes." Billy came to Sheyan and reported quickly.
"Hmm good work, bring them here as fast as possible, after we are done here we will be doing something very big." Sheyan smiled and spoke.
"Yes captain, I will go and urge them to finish the work quicker." Billy answered enthusiastically and went away to urge the pirates.
"Time to loot." Sheyan muttered and walked towards a copse.
But suddenly he stopped and a thoughtful expression appeared on his face.
'Wait, can I take out the crimson key with my newly gained ability.' Sheyan thought to himself.
'let's try.' Sheyan thought and willed one of his invisible hands to move towards a corpse.
An invisible hand which couldn't be seen by anyone quickly approached a random corpse and touched it.
A crimson key slowly emerged from the corpse, Sheyan willed to store it in his system space and the key disappeared directly.
"Nice, it works." Sheyan muttered with a smile.
"Looting will be faster now." Sheyan muttered and used all three of his invisible hands to touch the corpses laying all over the place.
Crimson keys were directly stored inside the system while the unique storyline equipments were thrown in one corner and piled up very quickly.
Sheryll looked on as random stuff got taken off from the corpses on its own and piled up in a corner.
"What is happening, sir?" Unable to control her curiosity Sheryll walked to Sheyan's side and asked curiously.
"Ohh, I am collecting unique storyline equipments." Sheyan answered while still focusing on the looting parade.
"Unique storyline equipments? What's that?" Sheryll asked, she hasn't heard of this term before after all although she has experienced two worlds previously but she was still a newbie in the nightmare realm and didn't know about many things.
"These equipments are those equipments which can only be used by native people of this world." Sheyan replied.
"So, the clothes and stuff on the people can be looted in this world after killing them and can be given to one's subordinates?" Sheryll probed.
"No it's not that simple, First of all you need to complete a milestone called Pirate captain, after that you will receive the title of Pirate captain, you can loot the unique storyline equipment only when you have the pirate captain equipped otherwise it doesn't matter if you strip them naked you won't get any unique Storyline equipment. Also, you don't need to kill people to get their storyline equipment, as long as you have the title equipped, you can strip the unique storyline equipment from anyone whether he is alive or dead." Sheyan explained patiently.
"This title is really amazing, with such a title any contestant can make a good force in this world." Sheryll spoke with astonishment.
"Hmm it is." Sheyan nodded and didn't explain to her that other contestants don't have the 100% drop rate like him, getting one unique storyline equipment after killing two or three people can already be called lucky but he can get at least three unique storyline equipments from one corpse.
Sheryll fell silent after satisfying her curiosity and stood aside.
Sheyan kept on looting the corpses as more n more corpses were brought inside by the pirates.
After 30 minutes, Sheyan looted his final corpse and breathed a sigh of relief.
"Phew, looting is really a hectic task." Sheyan muttered.
"Sir, please rest if you are tired." Krist came to Sheyan's side and spoke.
Krist and Charl have already completed the task given by Sheyan to kill the guards at the top of the castle and in hidden locations. The corpses of those guards were also brought back by them a while ago.
"Hmm, yeah I am going to rest for a short while but I have another task for both of you." Sheyan turned to Krist and spoke.
"Please give us the order sir, we will complete it right away." Charl came forward and replied.
"Hmm good, first of all distribute these equipments to put subordinates, then send 100 of them to Peigan to enchant their equipments, also send some people to Scarlett to distribute the equipments to the guys staying there, finally when all of the things are done, gather everybody and tell them to be prepared we will be attacking a legendary ship after one hour." Sheyan spoke to Charl and Krist.
Although Sheyan's stay period in this world has been increased to 7 days but the deadline of his main mission hasn't been extended, there are only 4 hours left for him to complete the main mission of having the post of a third mate or higher on a legendary ship. So, he has to attack a legendary ship today.
""Yes sir, leave it to us."" Charl and Krist replied.
"Good, I will be resting in the main hall, don't let anyone disturb me." Sheyan nodded and walked towards the main hall once again.
Sheryll looked at Sheyan and decided to follow him.
But Sheyan turned around and stopped her.
"I need some alone time, you can wait here, if you have any questions you can go to Charl and Krist." Sheyan said to Sheryll and continued walking towards the main hall.
Sheryll looked on as Sheyan disappeared inside the main hall before turning around to look at the two women pointed by Sheyan before he left.
Krist and Charl also looked at Sheryll and observed her carefully.
"Who are you?" Charl asked with hostility in her eyes.
"I am Sheryll." Sheryll replied.
"What is your relation with sir?" Krist asked.
"Relation? Umm... A subordinate I think." Sheryll replied tentatively. Sheyan didn't say anything about partnering up with her or taking her under him, but she knew she could never have a partnership relationship with Sheyan as the strength gap between the two parties is very large.
"Oh so sir took in a new subordinate." Krist muttered.
"Come with us, we will explain to you the rules and regulations to work under sir." Charl spoke to Sheryll.
Sheryll nodded quickly and walked away with Charl and Krist.

Inside the main hall, Sheyan sat on the main seat and looked inside his system storage space.
'There is already a small mountain of keys here and if I open up all of them there will be an even bigger mountain of different items here.' Sheyan thought as he looked at heaps of keys laying inside his storage.
'Taking inventory of the items would be very tough if I open all the keys, what should I do?' Sheyan pondered with one hand supporting his chin and his other hand lying on the armrest of the chair.
"Wait! The grid storage in RPGs!" Suddenly Sheyan's eyes lit up and he spoke to himself.
He closed his eyes and looked at the system interface inside his mind.
'Hey system, can you add another interface showing the items stored inside the storage space? Just like the inventory interface in RPG games, where all the items of the same type get stored in the same box.' Sheyan spoke to the system.
A loading interface appeared on the screen in front of Sheyan after he finished speaking.

Sheyan smiled after he saw the response.
He looked at the screen in front of him, it was still the same except that there was one more option on it this time.
{ Inventory }
Sheyan clicked on the option with his mind.
A small interface appeared right in front of him.
Sheyan inspected the new interface.
There were many small boxes shown on the interface and each box had a picture of an item inside it.
Sheyan clicked on a box showing the picture of a key and a small x240 written on its left corner.
{ Key dropped by class II guard of Fokke family. }
A small description appeared in front of Sheyan.
'Nice it shows a basic description of the item stored in it too, just like a game.' Sheyan though with a smile.
Sheyan exited his consciousness and opened his eyes.
"Now, that I have this new feature, I don't need to worry about mixing up the crystals and heaps of equipments." Sheyan muttered and took out many keys and started opening them quickly.
A large amount of things kept on emerging and disappearing in front of him as he opened more n more keys.
After another 30 minutes, Sheyan managed to open all the keys in his storage.
He looked at his inventory and found more boxes filled with different items.
"Phew, it's finally done, now the last thing before attacking the legendary ship." Sheyan muttered and took out 4 scrolls and two crystals from his inventory.

Sheyan looked at the name of the scrolls and the abilities contained inside the crystals.
"Hehe, little Fokke and his horse were really treasure troves of abilities and now all of these abilities belong to me.
All ability scrolls were dropped by Lord Fokke while the crystals were dropped by the ice horse Momore.
Sheyan willed to use the scrolls and notifications appeared in front of him.
[ A fee of 50000 utility points is required to use all the special ability scrolls. ]

"Deduct the points." Sheyan spoke.

Sheyan smiled and looked at two crystals lying in his palm.
He crushed them directly and two more notifications rang in his head.

Sheyan smiled and opened his status to check the details of his newly acquired abilities.
[ Rank 4 special ability Ice affinity: You have a high control over the ice element. You can release a cold aura from your body or control the temperature of your surroundings to make it cold. If there is moisture in the air around you then you can turn it into ice. ]
[ Rank 3 special ability Lord: You have the temperament of a lord, when you lead your subordinate, they will receive a 10% bonus in their attributes. ( Can be stacked with leader ability. ) ]
[ Rank 3 special ability Dead physique: You don't feel pain, injuries don't affect the function of your body parts. Your basic HP is increased by 10000 points. ]
[ Ice physique (A grade): You have a high control over the ice element, low temperature doesn't have any negative effect on you. When you are in a cold environment, your HP recovery speed is increased by 500% ]
[ Long life (B grade): Your life expectancy has been increased by 30 times. ]

"Great abilities!" Sheyan exclaimed.
