Chapter 6 - Deal

"So the thing is i want to hire you to work for me." Seaman spoke.

"What work?" Cazider asked back.

"You should have received the same mission as me, destroying the space time conversion point, right."

"Yes i received this mission." Cazider replied.

"Good, but do you know when we go near the space time conversion, a weakened version of the Terminater called T-750 will appear to kill us. There are various types of T-750, a gunner type, close combat type, battlefield type. A gunner T-750 has 90% long range damage reduction ability." Seaman revealed the information he learnt from the novel.

A gunner T-750 can be called the bane of long range combatants like Cazider.

Cazider eyes flashed with surprise and doubt "How do you know all this?" He asked in doubt.

"I have some friends who have been to this world before, anyways now that you know this let's talk about the deal." Seaman replied with a smile.

"What's the deal?" Cazider asked, now a little less apprehensive about the deal, as now he knows that there is a chance he might have to deal with a gunner T-750 while completing the mission, and dealing with it alone is gonna be very hard, this deal should be about fighting and completing the mission together.

"Mission difficulty of this world is only 'E', and the world setting is also peaceful, so my guess is, a situation where contestants have to fight normally won't arise and that can only happen if there are as many space time conversion points as there are contestants in this world. I know that there are at least six contestants in this world." Seaman spoke slowly and clearly so Cazider could understand everything.

'There is me, Cazider, the guy who was killed by Anti-terror force delta, two more guys who in the original novel attacked cybernet company, and that beardy Jack i met when i entered this world." Seaman thought about all the contestants he knows about, a total of six people.

Cazider listened seriously, not missing any details.

"So what I want you to do is to find me those space time conversion points, for each space time conversion you find i will give you 500 utility points¹." Seaman finally said the main thing.

"What?! 500 points for each space time conversion?" Cazider asked back loudly.

"Yes, 500 points for each space time conversion, but that's not all, i have two more things i want you to do. First find some side missions which can increase our stay period in this world. I will give you 200 utility points for one day increase. Second i want you to find other contestants and bring them to me, for each contestant you bring to me i will give you 200 points." Seaman spoke about the whole deal.

Cazider's breathing increased, knowing that this deal is worth thousands of utility points. He forcefully calmed down himself and asked about the doubts in his heart.

"Why do you want to increase your stay period in this world and meet more contestants?" Cazider asked.

"That's not your concern, is it?" Seaman replied with a smile, but that smile made Cazider break out in sweat.

"Ok ok, i don't want to know about that but how will I deal with those T-750." Cazider decided to forget about asking the purpose of this dangerous guy, being a long range combatant his perspective sense is very high, and his perceptive sense is telling him that this guy is very dangerous.

"You don't need to deal with those T-750, your work is only to find those space time conversion points and inform me the location, rest you can leave it to me." Seaman replied.

"What about my own mission of destroying the space time conversion point." Cazider asked back in doubt.

"The sixth space time conversion point is yours to Destroy, i will help you deal with the T-750 that appears." Seaman said.

"How can I be sure that you won't go back on your words?" Cazider asked about the final doubt in his heart.

"We can sign a contract through the Nightmare realm" Seaman gave the suggestion.

"Yes yes that would be the best" Cazider finally let go of all his doubts, a contract established through nightmare realm can't be broken under any circumstances, that means this guy is really telling the truth.

"You make the contract and send it to me, so you can be sure i didn't do anything with the contract." Seaman said, making a contract requires a small fee of utility points, Seaman doesn't have a single utility point on him, he can only bluff right now.

"Okay okay, right away." Cazider felt even more sure of this deal hearing Seaman's words.

[ Contestant no. 21739 initiated a contract. ]

A notification sounded in Seaman's nightmare imprint.

Seaman checked the contract, there were four things mentioned in it. First, contestant no. 1018 will give contestant no. 21739, 500 utility points for each space time conversion point found by contestant no. 21739, when contestant no. 21739 gives the location to contestant no.1018. Second contestant no. 1018 will give 200 utility points to contestant no. 21739 every time he helped contestant no. 1018 to increase his stay period by one day. Third contestant no. 1018 will give 200 utility points to contestant no. 21739 everytime contestant no. 21739 brings a nightmare contestant to contestant no. 1018. Fourth Contestant no. 1018 will help contestant no. 21739 in completing his mission.

Seaman smiled with a mysterious light flashing past his eyes and signed the contract.

Cazider's smile almost reached his ears hearing the notification.

"Okay we don't have any time to waste, get to work right now, i want the location of at least one space time conversion point in 3 hours." Seaman clapped his hand and spoke.

"Yes i will go right away." Cazider answered and ran away.

'Hahahaha greed really covers up the eyes of people.' Seaman looked at the disappearing Cazider and laughed.

'This S grade ability '100% Drop rate' is really awesome.' Seaman thought back about the time he saw Cazider enter the hall.

Cazider entered the hall filled with guns, Seaman looked at Cazider.

DING!

Notification kept ringing in Seaman's mind, not from nightmare imprint but his own ability snatching system.

'Ability modified? What changes happened? let's see.'

Seaman opened the interface of his system and looked at the description of 100% drop rate.

{ 100% drop rate (S grade): Host can see the drop rate of the loot carried by the target. Host needs to touch the body of the target and condense loot. Loot will appear in the form of a crimson key. }

'everything is pretty much the same, except that the loot will condense into a key first.' Seaman read the description word by word and thought.

Then he looked at Cazider again while using the 100% drop rate ability. And a screen appeared in front of Seaman again.

Seaman looked at all the loot available, making him almost lose his calm when he saw the innate ability.

'This ability is f*cking OP, normally there are two settings, when entering the nightmare realm peaceful and freedom setting.'

'Contestant won't get any loot from killing other contestants in peaceful setting and even in freedom setting there is only a possibility of dropping a blood key when a contestant die. After using that key, we need to choose 1 of the 4 options, half utility points, potential points, 3 random items from the dead contestant's interspatial storage and one random ability of the contestant will appear in the form of an ability scroll. And innate ability that's something that will never drop.'

'But with this S grade ability, i will get everything the target got, even his innate ability hahahahaha.' Seaman almost laughed out loud thinking about all these.

At this time, Cazider has his pointed gun at Katrina.

Seaman came out of his thoughts and stealthily moved out of Cazider's view.

When Katrina turned around to get the ammunitions.

Seaman attacked and grabbed the gun in Cazider's hand, before Cazider could react Seaman snatched the gun which broke Cazider's finger, a punch gritted Cazider on his skull making him fall down.

Seaman did everything Swiftly and smoothly in an instant, that Cazider didn't even have time to react.
