Chapter 55 - New Equipment and goals

Sheyan stopped laughing and smiled with satisfaction.

Pirates looked confused at their new captain's strange behaviour but they didn't voice out their inner feelings.

Sheyan opened the notification he just received.

A/N: Reputation status in POTC world is as follow: Cold -100/0>neutral 0/1000>Amicable 0/3000>Respected 0/6000>Revered 0/15000>Worshipped 0/30000>Legend 0/50000>Sacred. There is nothing above Sacred. so after Sacred, reputation points will no longer be added.

Everytime Reputation status levels up, the progress bar starts again from 0.

Sheyan looked at the notifications and a smile bloomed on his face.

'Good, one more title and even unlocked this reputation status, which is a very important link to achieve my goals in this world, I remember when Sheyan came to this world for the second time, he got the information about a milestone called 'Pirate captain' completing that milestone will give the corresponding title Pirate captain, that title is very handy in this world. But to complete that milestone, contestant needs to have a respected reputation status among pirates in this world.'

'I just need 1500 more Reputation points to initiate that title.' Sheyan thought then looked at corpses lying on the deck.

'Well it's time for harvest.' Sheyan thought and walked upto Ammand's corpse first.

He bent down and touched Ammand's corpse, his ability activated and a red key came out of Ammand's body and floated to Sheyan's hand.

Sheyan stored the key in his storage and picked up the sword and scabbard lying beside Ammand. After this he went to Scarface Harry's corpse, repeating the progress. One by one he took the keys out of all the corpses and stored them in his storage.

Pirates started at Sheyan's actions with bafflement on their faces.

"Hey what do you think captain is doing?" A pirate whispered to another pirate standing beside him.

"Don't know, maybe some ritual from the east?" Pirate replied.

All the pirates whispered quietly among themselves, but when so many people whisper at the same time, the sound produced won't be little.

Sheyan got irritated from the whispering and started at the pirates, his eyes sharpened a little and a majestic aura poured out of his body.

*DAK* *DAK* *DAK*

Some weak pirates lost their consciousness and fell down on the deck.

Pirates who were still standing all broke out in cold sweat.

"I hate loud noises the most, do you understand!" Sheyan spoke in a cold voice, Sheyan doesn't hate many things, but one of the things he hates the most is loud noises.

"Yes captain, we won't make any noise from now on." A pirate quickly spoke, other Pirates hastily nodded in agreement.

A thought emerged in the mind of all Pirates. 'Our new captain is too scary.'

Krist and Charl quietly noted down Sheyan's words, deciding to deal with all the things which makes loud noises near Sheyan henceforth.

Sheyan snorted and quickly dealt with rest of the corpses.

"Okay, it's done, throw them in the ocean, then assemble on the deck for next orders." Sheyan stood up and ordered the pirates.

Pirates quickly got to work, not daring to slack even a little bit.

Sheyan sat back on his seat and looked at the scabbard and sword in his hand. A large broadsword with a very wide, deep-fullered blade. The two fullers notably extended right to the point for lightness and strength, owing to the heft of the blade. It was broadest at the point and narrowed all the way down to a jeweled, solid-cupped broad steel handguard. The handle's grip was of black leather. Due to its great width, the blade was primarily a slashing weapon; however, its pronounced point could also effectively puncture hard objects.

Compared to this imposing sword, the scabbard paled in comparison. It was terribly worn out, and was even wrapped with a layer of black rags.

'Appearance is really decieving, who would think that the real power lies in this scabbard, this sword is just a medium to suck a lil bit of the power from the scabbard and use it to increase its attack power and speed.' Sheyan thought and opened up the property panel of sword and the scabbard.

'Hehe just absorbing a little bit of power from the scabbard, this sword became a silver storyline equipment with three strong effects, it can almost be compared to golden storyline grade equipments, although it would rank last in golden storyline grade equipments ranking.' Sheyan thought with a big smile on his face.

'Just this fake sword is so good, then how amazing it would be if I brought the real sword of Triton and this scabbard together, but that sword is in the hand of Blackbeard Edward Teach. Although he doesn't have the power to control his ship completely as in the movie yet, since without this scabbard his sword is completely useless. But even without that power, he is still a force to be reckoned with, his proficiency in black magic is very high and my only weakness right now is magical damage, all my defensive abilities are focused on physical damage, dealing with Blackbeard right now won't be ideal.' Sheyan kept thinking.

Sheyan looked at the scabbard in his hand once again and his eyes slowly sharpened.

'Humph, what's the point of getting this empty scabbard if I can't get the sword to accompany it, I just need to make more preparation, that sword of Triton, can only be used by me.' Sheyan made the decision then looked at the pirates once again.

They had already thrown all the corpses in the sea and were now standing on the deck attentively.

Sheyan got up.

"Good, now that we are done dealing with corpses, it's time to tidy up this newly established pirate group, so first of all, all of you stand in a straight line then go to Charl and Krist one by one and tell your speciality, it could be cooking, guns, sword, Cannon etc. And if you don't have any speciality then just clean the deck till I decide a better job for you all." Sheyan spoke calmly then turned to Charl and Krist.

"Charlie Krissie, record their names and speciality, after you are done, give me the list, I need to do some things for a while, so don't disturb me for 30 minutes." Sheyan spoke and turned around to walk towards the Captain's cabin.

Pirates got in line quickly and stood in front of Charl and Krist, no one acted out of bounds or made a mess. After all they knew, that the new captain killed only some pirates and their old captain but these two women are real harbingers of death, almost everyone else except captain was killed by them alone.

Sheyan came inside Captain's cabin which previously belonged to Ammand and walked to the seat behind a big table.

After sitting on the seat, he took out a crimson key out of his storage and activated it.

Right after that, a crimson treasure chest appeared in front of him, Sheyan slotted the key inside the key hole and twisted it.

*Click*

Treasure chest opened with a click sound and revealed the things inside.

6 scrolls, a gold ring, a flintlock pistol and a turban (headwear)

Out of all these things, Sheyan's eye particularly stopped on the gold ring, not because of anything else but because it was giving off a silvery lustre.

'This glow, this ring is also a silver storyline equipment!' Sheyan spoke with excitement.

'Well in orginal Sheyan managed to get a black grade equipment after killing the Scarface Harry who was seriously injured, poisoned, had muscle seizures and Sheyan killed him with the help of 5 other people. Nightmare realm advocates the policy of 'Risk is directly proportional to rewards' and Sheyan managed to get a black grade equipment for killing such a battered Harry, so it is completely normal to get a silver storyline equipment directly from Ammand's loot after I killed him single-handedly.' Sheyan calmed down from his initial excitement and thought calmly.

Sheyan first checked the Scrolls, there was one Advance close range ability scroll, one Intermediate Footwork scroll, one Intermediate Endurance Scroll and one Sword mastery scroll. There were two more scrolls containing special abilities, Tenacity Lvl 3 and Leader lvl 2.

Sheyan stored all the Scrolls in his storage first and picked up the ring to inspect.

As years passed, the blessing on the ring kept reducing. Finally Ammand appeared on the island and killed the family of that legendary sailor and became the new owner of the ring. You can go to goddess of the sea Calypso to help you bless the ring once again to unleash it's full once again. ]

"This ring, it's not a simple silver storyline grade equipment, if I can get the Calypso to bless this ring once again it might even reach the rank of golden storyline equipment. Even with two of its ability sealed it's still a nice equipment." Sheyan exclaimed after reading the details of the ring.

Sheyan remembers that the Sea goddess Calypso appeared in second pirate of the Caribbean movie, in which Calypso was shown to be imprisoned in the body of a mortal woman, the imprisoned Calypso assumed the alias of a voodoo mystic named Tia Dalma, finally in the movie 'At World's End' her real identity as a goddess was revealed.

"This Calypso should still be in her mortal form, finding her is another thing but even if i found her I don't know if she can bless this ring in her current state." Sheyan muttered to himself.

"Let it be, I will just add, finding Calypso in my list of tasks." Sheyan spoke then picked up the flintlock pistol from the chest.

{ Some of you may think, that Shreyan's Dark blue Black barreled gun is much better than this Black grade gun, but remember Sheyan's Repair ability work in a way that it makes the equipment completely 300% better than itself, while in nightmare realm, equipments as they grow in grade they usually just have more traits or buffs, some even come up with debuffs actually, although they would still be stronger than the lower grade equipment but not by much, this happens til silver storyline grade. After silver storyline grade, equipments strength gets a huge leap, which will be shown in later part of the story. }

{ Green set equipments as it can be interpreted from the name only appears in a set of equipment, without the complete set the green grade equipment might not even be as strong as a Dark blue grade but with the complete set some green grade equipment might even surpass the golden storyline grade. }
