12 Chapter 12 - Side missions
A new morning came, not with the sound of birds chirping but with the honking of cars.
Seaman opened his eyes and sat up in the bed.
"Ahhhh! I finally feel a bit better." Seaman yawned.
"Let's check the details of that side mission now." Seaman asked the nightmare Imprint to show the information he got yesterday from Gensha.
[ Side mission: Protect Sarah Connor ]
[ Mission summary: Sarah Conner is the target of termination, A T-800 has been sent back to the past by the skynet from the future, find Sarah Conner and convince her to hire you as her guard before Kyle Reese finds her. ]
[ Mission pointer: Sarah Conner is working at a small restaurant named 'Big Jeff', her shift ends at 4 PM, Kyle Reese and Terminator will find her by 9 PM, you have to find and convince her before they find her. ]

"So this is the side mission, great. I can increase my stay period and achieve one more milestone at the same time. Two birds with one stone." Seaman smiled then took out a small item from his storage.
A microchip.

[ Description: A complete working Microchip, in the current timeline, an invaluable treasure. ]
Seaman decided to receive the mission.

[ Mission goal: Handover this microchip to Dr. Miles Bennett Dyson of the Cyberdyne computer company. ]
[ Mission pointers: Dr. Miles Bennett Dyson has only a primary understanding of his recent project 'skynet' yet, he has been trying to make a breakthrough recently but without any success, meeting him at this point is very hard. ]
[ Mission suggestion: Dr. Miles Bennett Dyson is a very understanding person, if you can meet him then you can easily get him to talk to you without him calling the authorities. ]

"So i just need to give this chip to Dyson, hmm." Seaman spoke after reading the mission details.
"Let's check the details of that milestone I achieved yesterday."
Seaman asked the nightmare imprint to show the details of the milestones .

Seaman clicked on the Efficient user with his mind.
[ Efficient user: Legal authorities will have a high basic affinity towards you, Your crime index will rise slowly, and decrease quickly. ]
Seaman equipped the title, his crime index has already been reduced to 23 points by now.
A/N: Every time a Contestant does a criminal activity they will gain some crime index, having a high crime index will make legal authorities pursue you. Crime index decreases slowly over time. The higher the crime index, the slower it decreases.
"Okay let's go to that 'Big Jeff' first to find Sarah conner." Seaman got up and came out of the restaurant.
He stopped a taxi and asked the driver to go to a good clothes store.
Very soon, taxi reached the destination, Seaman came out and went inside the store.
Seaman bought a Black full sleeve T-shirt, Black jeans and a light black jacket with a white claw mark logo on the chest.
Seaman wore them in the store, while checking out he saw sunglasses on the side of the counter. Although he already had one but that one didn't go with his current style of clothes.
He bought one Aviatar style sunglasses, with black lens, black frame and silver rims.
After buying everything he came out of the store and stopped a taxi again.
After 15 minutes, Seaman stood in front of a small restaurant.
A fat clown statue with two big burgers in each of his hands, was standing outside the restaurant.
Seaman went inside and ordered a coffee. He looked around but didn't see any blonde woman.
He waited for 5 minutes and a waitress in pink uniform came with a coffee.
"Thank you" Seaman looked up at the waitress and spoke.
"Welcome sir, would you like anything else, i can recommend something if it's your first time here." Waitress answered with a big smile.
She had brown curly hair, some freckles around her nose and a fair complexion.
"Serve me anything tasty and light please. And do you know, when will Sarah connor arrive here?" Seaman replied and asked about Sarah Conner.
"Oh sarrah clocks in at 11 AM, so she won't be here for the next one an half hour" She replied.
"Looks like i arrived earlier... thank you miss." Seaman thanked the waitress and picked up the coffee mug.
Waitress glanced at Seaman's face one last time before going back to the kitchen to fetch the orders of other customers.
'What should I do after having breakfast hmm... Maybe search for more space time convergence points.' Seaman sipped his coffee while thinking about what to do next.
Very soon the waitress came back, with a plate in her hand, she put it on the table and smiled at Seaman.
"Oh this looks tasty, what is it called?" Seaman looked at the dish and asked.
"Multigrain Pancakes with Almond Butter Drizzle, our Sunday special." Waitress introduced with a big smile.
Seaman picked up the knife and fork. He sliced a small part of the pancake and took a bite. Instantly the flavour of almond butter dazzled his taste buds, after he chewed a little, honey oozed from the pancake in his mouth. Seaman chewed and savored the taste slowly before finally guping it down.
Seaman looked at the waitress who was still standing there with anticipation in her eyes.
"It's delicious." Seaman spoke with a smile.
Waitress smiled even more and went away happily, her hips twisting a little with every step.
Seaman slowly ate his meal, forgetting about other things for a while.

Seaman came out of the restaurant after putting two 100 dollar notes in the bill.
"Let's go find some more space time convergence points." Seaman spoke and stopped a taxi again, told the driver about the locations with the possibility of a space time convergence happening and laid back on the seat.
Taxi kept moving for half an hour, but no space time convergence points were found.

Suddenly, nightmare imprint on Seaman's chest rang.
Seaman selected yes, soon Cazider's panicked voice rang in his ear.
[ Sir, come here as soon as possible, i found another space time convergence point, the Terminator that appeared this time is very strong. I can't hold on for long, i am sending you the location. ]
Seaman told the location he received through Nightmare imprint to the Taxi driver, and asked him to drive faster.
It was very far but there wasn't much traffic, so Seaman reached the location very early.
When Seaman stepped down from the taxi, he found that many police cars had arrived beforehand, The policemen were stopping people from going near a particular area.
Seaman ran towards there, some policeman came to stop him, but Seaman pushed them aside and ran inside quickly.
"Stop right there, or i will shoot." One police man took out his pistol and shouted at Seaman.
But Seaman ignored him and soon ran away to a turn.
Police man didn't shoot, Seaman gave him a feeling that he wasn't a criminal, he might just be a civilian going back to his home.
Seaman heard some gun firing and ran towards the sound.
Soon Seaman reached the location and saw some police cars on one side of the road. Many policemen were hiding behind them and shooting at the window of a house some distance away.
Every once in a while, some gunshots rang from the window too and each time a policeman dropped dead.
Seaman contacted Cazider through nightmare Imprint.
*Where are you?*
[ I am in the house behind the police officers, i wasn't able to handle that terminator alone, so i called them. ]
*How did that terminator get a gun?* Seaman asked.
[ H-he grabbed it from me. ] Cazider replied in a shaky voice.
'He is more useless than i thought, no need to let him live anymore after this.' Seaman thought with a frown and took out his guns.
He remembered one scene from the novel, when Sheyan met Beardy Jack second time, they exchanged some intel, and Jack shared a very crucial Intel regarding the Trecherous alley milestone and crime index.
Trecherous alley: when equipped, Target without any crime index will receive 100% more damage. Item/equipment loot rate increases by 100%.
Of course this 100% increase didn't mean that everything will drop 100% as Seaman's ability, it means that if the drop rate of an equipment is 2% then after equipping this title the drop rate will become 4%. For other contestants this point is almost godly but for Seaman this is nothing, compared to his S grade ability this feature can only be called shit. But the other advantage of this title is very helpful for Seaman 'Dealing double damage to the targets without any crime index' and another crucial Intel.
Method of killing policemen without repercussions: After you kill a policeman, your crime index will rise at a shocking speed. However, if there are no eyewitnesses or the eyewitnesses are disposed of, your criminal activities will be listed as unsolved and your criminal index will immediately drop back after 10 minutes. However, there will still be a small bit of crime index left.
Seaman remembered this and shot at all the policeman shooting at the window from behind.
BANG! BANG! BANG!
Gunshots rang and soon all the policemen dropped dead before they could even react.

Notifications kept ringing for a while and Seaman's crime index sprung up like a Healthy teen's genitals when they see the ass of their sexy teacher writing on the board.
