Sudden Explosion with Unexplainable Event

The peaceful city. Street bustling with people. Cars being driven on the road. Pollution... still everywhere.

People complain about it but no one even cares to try to reduce them themselves. So, how's the world working?

Simple, the world is working on money. Money this and money that, everything starts with money and also ends with money.

That's just the world works. Money and fame. If you think, this is wrong then give me the right answer. Can you survive in this world without money? Of course not.

Let's not destroy 4th wall too much.

"Hey! Let's go!"

What's this? Children are going out to school. And much more, teens, collegers and workers are going to their respective place without giving any thought about the world.

But, this whole world stopped on its track. A very bright light, a light that could instantly blind, flashed all over the world, and with that light, a defeating sound followed.

Boom!

An explosion... a very big explosion. Not an ordinary but an explosion that has more power than a nuclear bomb.

As the explosion took place, 20 countries in the whole world disappeared. No, they didn't get destroyed but all of the countries turned into ashes.

And what remained, the water.

The whole world, not only a single country not a city, but the whole earth changed. Many people just instantly laid on the ground and much worse, all the life in the world fell unconscious.

A huge wave of tides swallowed more than 5 countries and erase their existence. A big earthquake shook the world and a huge pit formed after the whole country turned into ashes and the whole ocean water evaporated.

With these events, out of 300 countries, only 100 remained. From 8 billion people, only 4 billion were lucky to survive.

No, not lucky but very very unlucky.

"Hmm! What... just happened?"

A young boy stood. His eyes instantly widen and his mind without any warning cleared up. the scene in front of him made him shocked, not only shocked but traumatized.

Many peoples were lying on the ground but some had woken. But, that wasn't the problem, about half of the woken people were biting and eating the flesh of the person next to them.

The road was covered in blood, the biting people's bodies were covered in blood. Their whole mouth had much amount of blood that would make you feel nauseous and make you wish that you would never see any blood.

Even red color would make you shiver in fear, that was the condition. And much worse, luckily the people who were bitten didn't wake.

They died without even screaming which could be like a blessing to them. Since the flesh of many people was inside the zombies now.

Some person's face flesh was completely eaten and only bones were visible. Some, how to say their half of the meat was eaten but some were left, making them more gruesome.

The people turn by turn woke just to look at the gruesome, traumatizing, and most disgusting scene in the world.

People's eyes widen, their bodies shook and many girls screamed. But their screams weren't heard by people but by zombies.

The zombies left the dead bodies and charged at the alive people. Those zombies jumped at those guys who were standing still and staring at the zombies like an idiot.

And the boy, who just woke also was the victim.

Chomp!

The zombie bit many people, and the area was filled with screams full of pain. Many people instinctively run and that was their best choice.

But unfortunately, the zombie just bit the people and left them like that and charged at running people. And the people who got bit fell unconscious and woke up losing their sanity.

They lost their mind and humanity and became zombies. And just like other zombies, they also charged at other people and bit them.

The area which was just peaceful suddenly turned into hell. And that wasn't the only area, the whole world changed.

1/3 of the total current population turned into zombies and 11% of people died, in just an hour. The fate of the whole world took 360-degree turn.

With that, the start of the apocalypse took place.

Around a corner of the world, a modern city and a smaller high school of that city with the population of the student being 500 at most, and with only 20 students per class.

The school was working just fine. The teacher came, give lectures, made them study and with a bell ring, he left.

There wasn't going any unordinary, but there was an un-ordinary boy.

"Hey, Hiro. Let's eat lunch together."

A normal schoolboy stood in front of the so-called Hiro desk and asked him with a big smile on his face.

His smile probably meant something and he wanted to share it with Hiro.

"What?"

An unordinary boy, his eyes full of dead circles, probably because of loss of sleep, his emotionless face, probably because of something traumatic happened in his life, and finally his average but looked like a malnourished body, totally made him look like a loner otaku.

Or, a loner anything. He didn't look much interested in talking. He was just enjoying taking a nap until the energetic guy came in.

But unfortunately, the energetic guy wasn't his friend. Nor he was any bully. The energetic guy just sometimes or rarely talks with Hiro when he doesn't have anyone to talk with.

"Let me tell you-"

The energetic guy with a smug face tried to say something, but he stopped mid-way. His eye got glued with the window.

It looked like, he forget about the whole world and was attracted to something behind that window.

But that wasn't the case, his eyes were widened, his face darken and his whole body trembled. His face looked like a primary example of fear.

Looking at the scene made Hiro interested too. He stood and checked the window. But even with his emotionless, his eyes widen.

He didn't show it on the face ut his whole heart throbbed. But it wasn't clear that it throbbed due to fear or through... EXCITEMENT.
