Gemma sat with her legs folded underneath her as she watched and listened to Miguel she already knew that Miguel had kidnapped her because he was trying to prove a point to his father. She had heard them talking about it after she had gotten kidnapped.

"I know that already," she said in a low tone. "I heard your father congratulating you for being able to kidnap me when you guys still held me, hostage," she said.

"I'm sorry you heard that," Miguel said.

"It's in the past now," Gemma said with a nod.

"So did your father also make you sleep with me that night we met? He asked you not to use a condom so you could get me pregnant?"

Miguel chuckled slightly. "No, I chose to do those. I did it to spite your father. I wanted to get back at him."

Gemma looked confused. "To get back at my father for what? Why? I don't understand."

"I hold a grudge against your father for what he did to my mother and me when I was a little boy."
